Very disapointed. Our first trip to the club was a disaster. We waited next to the bar for half an hour before seated at a table with another couple. Then we waited for over an hour before my busband flagged down a waitress for a drink. It was half an hour before the waitress came back to ask what we had ordered. ..she forgot ? We went planning tapas and wine. In three hours we had one glass of wine. Finally we ask for our check when no one cared to serve us. They brought us a check that had a ten dollar cover charge figured into the bill. We ask the server what the cover was and she said it was a door cover charge. We told her no one ever told us there was one. She walked off and a young man came over. He said it was clearly printed on all of the menus. WE NEVER GOT A MENU and never even got to order food. He said it was policy. I ask where it is posted...the door ..the wall...the bar. He said. ..its not ! He never offered to take it off ...and he said we did have to pay it even if we did not get a menu where it was posted. He did not offer to get the manager. The music was great. The band was awesome. The place is nice and the atmosphere was fun. We never got to eat and the service was awful. It can not be legal to charge a cover charge after someone orders a drink and was never told and its not posted. Sad and disapointed.

Been there 3 times - each time has been amazing! The negative reviews for this place can be handled with 5 easy steps: 1) Make reservations... like a damned adult. Dont just show up hoping to get a good seat - you probably wont. 2) Dont be a cheap-ass. Yes, the food and wine is not cheap and there is a small cover. To get talent like they have, they need money. If you want cheap, go to McDonalds and fire up Pandora on your phone. 3) Dont go hungry. Ive never had a problem with the food but yes, the wait time can be a little while and its not a lot of food. So, go get a big meal beforehand, then go to Jazz Tastings and enjoy a couple glasses of wine or a light snack. 4) Relax. Dont expect fast-food service. They only have a couple servers and the place is usually packed. Just relax. 5) Look around. Notice how every race, creed, color, age, and walk of life in there looking to simply have a good time and listen to some AMAZING musicians. Then think to yourself how wonderful the world would be if everyone could get along like that outside of this building. Boom.

THIS IS MY SPOT!!! I drive all the way from Daytona Beach to frequent this spot. Each time I come, I bring a new friend to join me. I have spent my last two New Years Eves here and have yet to be disappointed. The wine selection is superb. Wait staff is excellent. My favorite dishes are the lamb lollipops and the shrimp and grits. My friends like the brushetta. My main attraction, what I come for, is Olivia and the Jazz tastings House Band. OMG....they take you from Jazz to Blues, Neo-Soul to Contemporary, R&B to Oldies and back again! If Siskel and Ebert were alive and critics of restaurants and tapas bars, they would give it "Two thumbs, WAY UP"!

My husband and I went to Jazz Tastings for the first time and LOVED it. The food, wine, JT Quartet band and overall atmosphere was wonderful. Shannon our server paced our tapas perfectly so we could enjoy the music and food throughout the evening. The owner was visible and very friendly. We spent the entire evening meeting new people and having a great time. It is important to make a reservation because it gets busy. We will be back, this is our new favorite place to go!!!

Had a wonderful jazz/dinner experience. A very quaint and cozy environment. The staff was curtious and friendly. Most importantly, the music was awesome. The jazz quartet musians really flowed with each other and it showed in their sound. Additionally, the food was awesome. Look forward to visiting again when Im in town. Kevin Killian

We had an awesome evening here - the combined talents of musicians, tapas chefs, wait staff and management provide a totally delightful experience with other jazz lovers youre sure to enjoy. Try the lamb lollipops with a Spanish Rioja, and close with a Chocolate Earthquake :-)

It was a bit loud, but in the spirit of Jazz it was absolutely perfect. The cocktails were well made, and the service was prompt and friendly.
