My husband and two teenage children headed down to Pace to Nikkos for supper...and we are glad we did. We were greeted by a nice,friendly hostess and sat promptly. Waitress (Leah?) was right there taking our drink orders and bringing our salads. She took our order with a smile and answered questions and knew what she was talking about! We ordered veggie tempura- which came out quickly-- it was a bit greasy- but hot and yummy- we shared this between three people and it was a perfect sized appetizer! My daughter order sushi and it was delivered at the perfect time time to coincide with our habachi orders. My son got the habachi chicken, my husband got the steak, chicken and salmon, and I got steak, chicken and lobster. These three dishes were cooked perfectly- by a very friendly entertaining habachi cook. He was very attentive, and really cared about the quality of food he delivered to us...and it showed in both the portions and quality of food. My lobster was so sweet and succulent and tasty! The steaks were cooked perfectly for us and the chicken was juicy and NOT over done. Fried rice was tasty...not the best I have had, but definitely above par. Only thing was next time I will ask to cut down on the butter and salt usage just a bit- but everything was great. I do not like salmon- but tried my husbands and I would order it because of the way it was cooked and seasoned. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her sushi which --the presentation was off the scope beautiful. She had several rolls, but the most amazing was the California volcano roll -- which was heaped in mounds of sweet delicious crab meat! The service was wonderful- the food way above par for a habachi restaurant. Benihana has nothing on Nikkos! We are hooked and will return. It was well worth the hour drive! (who needs to go all the way to Pensacola when this gem is closer!) For the four of us the bill was $94...no alcohol- 2 ice teas...tempura appetizer, sushi, 3 meals -2 specialized....so it isnt cheap, but it was definitely worth every dollar...and we feel it was a GREAT bargain for the service and quality of food!

Tonight my girlfriend and I decided to go here to eat. We were seated promptly. After we ordered we waited over 45 minutes and still had not received our food or even have someone check to see if we needed anything. The owner is the person that seated us and apparently forgot to assign someone to service our table. I asked to speak with the manager and waited for a while and no one came to our table. I then got up and found the owner and all of a sudden our food shows up, no knives to cut the meat, no dishes to serve the food on and no one to service our table. The food was cold and if I forgot to mention we ordered lobster and steak and neither are very good cold. We then waited for someone to come to our table and still not one person to service our table. I then got up and went to the owner and asked her what was going on. When I got to her their was a nother family complaining about the same thing. She didnt even sound like she cared and offered to cook us another plate. At this point we have been here well over a hour and didnt have another hour to spend on a gamble. She didnt even try to offer us a coupon or something to try to get us back to her restaurant again. She had ruined our date that we only get to do maybe once a month if were lucky. In my 50 years of life I have never had this bad of service or and lack of caring about the customers.

I wouldnt eat anything other than hibachi here, had tempura shrimp and chicken, it was almost all bread, no exaggeration! They originally got order completely wrong (we didnt complain we let her know very nicely and offered to keep what they brought if they would give it to us at the same price as what we ordered. It was only about a $3-4$ difference per meal. They wouldnt let that happen they said if we kept what they would charge full price. So we had to wait even longer to get our meal.

We enjoy the food but the service has been lacking. Today we went in to eat & sat in the waiting area for over 10 minutes. Finally I went to the back & yelled hello & nobody answered. I called to ask their hours & they were very rude (how can you call them and get a reply but let people sit in the waiting area for so long?). Apparently, they took a break from 2-4 & left the doors open & left no note. They just lost service, I dont plan on returning because of the HORRIBLE service!

The food was good, but the service was horrible. It is a Thursday evening and the place is not even half full. It took forever for the waitress to even come take our order. My food came out about 15 minutes later, but my boyfriends was nowhere to be seen (he order two sushi rolls). I ate all my food and sat there bored for a while awaiting those sushi rolls. Our drinks stayed empty and we watched as tables who came in 20 minutes after us were fully served. I will not be returning.

The sushi was ok, not great. The waitress didnt turn on the grill for the cook so on top of the already slow service we had to wait for that to get to temp once the cook came to our table. Our cook was nice but not necessarily entertaining. We had to track the waitress down for drink refills, she never came by to check on us once the cook started. The food was mediocre at best. We frequent this type of restaurant and are rarely disappointed. What a waste of $86.

This hibachi place has a good lunch special Monday -Thursday; two hibachi lunches for $15.99. Keep in mind this does not include a drink. Food is consistently good, however service can be a bit slow at times. Manager/ owner usually waits until a hibachi table has a minimum of five customers before food prep begins. Just keep in mind, if there is less than 5 in your party, you may have a wait (even after being seated). Overall, good place to eat.

Great soup, Hibachi food is not the best in the area but still pretty good, sushi is really good, the hibachi show is slightly lacking but thats probably more of a problem of atmosphere versus the performance. To further clarify, the locals are hard to impress and dont applaud during the performance when in other areas of the country, the performance would be more celebrated.

Service was ok but have definitely had better at other hibachi grills. The chef wasnt very interactive and made for a rather awkward experience especially since the table we sat at was so cramped we couldnt pull the chairs out to sit. Was very expensive but wouldnt have minded the price if the service was better. The food was pretty good tho.

Horrible experience it was mine and my finances first and last time coming here.. ordered a to go order the lady at the desk was rude and more worried about her phone then anything.. very over priced and not even good quality food for what your paying.. the chicken tasted like it came from a can.. dont recommend to anyone..
