I wasn’t really going to write a negative review, but I feel I should at least make you aware of it. My 8-year old son and 4-year old daughter wanted to have a fundraiser selling chocolate chip cookies, they baked themselves, benefiting Rotary International’s Polio Plus fund. We wanted to setup a little table in front of the store for a couple of hours asking folks if they wanted to donate a dollar in exchange for some cookies. I was told by manager Tim Tevin that we would not be able to do anything at their store because it was against leasing policy to allow anyone setting up in front of the store asking for donations. While I wish his attitude had been a little more forthcoming, I can understand that argument. We shop at this Publix location a fair amount and I just figured it would be nice to see if they would support the local community they serve a bit more. Anyway, tonight I went up to the store to pick up a couple of items and lo and behold, here is a bell ringer from the Salvation Army ringing the bell outside the store where we had requested to setup our fundraiser. My son was with me and of course asked why that person could be outside and we couldn’t. I was hoping Tim Tevin would be available to explain it to my son, but unfortunately he was not at the store.

I lived right across from this Publix for a few years but moved further North in Oviedo. Regardless of my move (and there is another Publix right around the corner from me) I keep going back to THIS location for a number of reasons. First, the service beats any Publix Ive ever been to. The staff is more polite, more friendly, and more professional than staff I have encountered at other locations. Whoever is running this place is doing something right. Second, the personalized service Ive received here has exceeded my expectations. Theyve even stocked hard to find items at my request at some points. This is a Publix that I go out of my way to shop at, just because the experience is better than others.

Horrible Publix. I was bullied many times by various idiots here including all the racist nasty white trash psychos that shop there. Oviedo is a terrible city full of ugly racist white garbage that shops at this Publix. Hope these worthless people rot in hell one day where they belong. the deli staff was racist towards my wife, and took about 3 white people before her, though it was her turn. We still waited. they were rude towards us because of our race. Then, in the checkout line, two very nasty white women were rude to us- for no reason. White trash shops here beward

My husband and I went to this Publix tonight and got two of their Cubans. The Publix in Tampa make awesome Cubans on Cuban roll bread that is buttered and pressed. This one did not. Then we got them home and they were aweful. We spent nearly $20 for them both and they were gross. The lady that made them was sweet and so was the lady that checked us out. But the food itself tasted spoiled. We will not be returning to this Publix.

I had a extremely rude customer that was holding up the line for 15 minutes after check out looking for coupons on her phone and had no common sense to let it go after verbal abusive words I removed my self from the line and went to the counter. She was horrible if thats the clientele they stores attracts I longer set foot in that store! She upset everyone in line and the cashier didnt say anything.

Issue with cash register and out of 5 employees standing around no one helped to relocate our items and we had a lot. Then bagger insanely over stuffed bags and things fell out in parking lot while raining. My fist time at this publix and will drive a little further to my usual location after this. Not used to this level of service, felt like I was at Wal-Mart.

Been shopping here for years. The current management is as good , friendly and helpful as any before them. Tim Tevins (sp?) is always available and never too busy to help. The front of store people are great. The meat and fish departments are always pleasant (although, as always with Publix, I think their meats are not as good as elsewhere).

I really enjoy going to the Publix on Alafaya. I find Bea and Juan in seafood to be very pleasant and accommodating. The front desk is always helpful. The folks preparing the Aprons foods are great. Rarely do I need a rain check. Mgt is helpful and willing to do substitutions when necessary. Overall always a positive experience.
