Keep it in perspective; its the local Chinese delivery place. If youre looking for an exotic meal with fresh made everything and a culinary experience of ancient China this is not it. I think some of the negative reviews are people coming to "Restaurant Row" expecting a PF Changs experience and realizing thats just not what its about here. They keep it simple, relatively cheap, and they serve it hot and tasty every time. They rock the usual American-Chinese dishes that we all love. Pick anything on the menu and it will taste a lot better than most of the take out food you get. The service is friendly and I cant honestly recall them ever ruining my order or taking too long to deliver it (Ive been eating here probably 15 years). Ive seen maybe three other Chinese restaurants open in the area over the years and theyve all failed... This place is better every time.

Takeout was great. it was close to closing and we were hungry. When asked about eating there they mentioned it was close to closing and that we probably didnt want to sit and eat in the restaurant, so we ordered to go. it was ready right away in the normal wait time for takeout. When we got back to the hotel, the food was still very hot. it was good chinese for the value. A large quart portion at an economical price and a pint of rice per order. Won Ton Soup was ok. The chicken was good and typical white meat and the vegetables were fresh. We didnt have any problem and it smelled fresh. It was an excellent value for fresh cooked chinese compared to the other major chains and buffet chinese restaurants we checked out before ordering here.

Ok so the only reason I gave 5 stars is b/c the food is good they dont use watered down products and you can tell b/c the food is very rich especially the soy sauce inside the restaurant, the packets are different, I had sesame chicken and beef fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, my wife had beef egg foo young all the food was very good BUT IF YOU CANT TAKE RUDENESS order from home and pick it up or from the parking lot do not sit inside b/c from what we saw unless they know you and youve been coming for a while they are very rude this was our first time but not the last

I would not recommend this place to anyone soley on customer service!!! I work in the same complex as this place and they deliver "supposedly". When I ordered food for one person she asked if I could come get it. I explained I was alone,this being the reason I wanted delivery. They told me since I was only oredering one meal they would not deliver. To a person in the same shopping complex as them. Way to be neighborly. If you arent willing to be freindly to a neighbor why would you trust them to be friendly to you

Rude staff. The two old ladies that run this joint are just plain rude. They speak to customers on the phone like theyre scolding children. I asked the waitress for another drink because it had a bug in it and youd swear I was asking for a pound of flesh. They obviously depend on vacationers for business because I cant imagine anyone comes back again...plenty of other places to get marginal, over-salted Chinese food.

Although there are reviews on this website that are not very favorable this is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Central Florida. We drive out-of-the-way to come here. The food is delicious and the service is always smiling. The egg drop soup is freshly made every day and the entrées are absolutely delicious. I would recommend this Chinese restaurant over any of the more than 20 that I have tried in the area.

Got take out for the whole family based on a recommendation. The food was very typical run-of-the-mill Chinese. the lo mein was soggy, the fried rice was bland, the chicken was fleshy thigh meat which is typical and I dont particularly care for. This place will do in a pinch, but if you want great Chinese, Ming Court is not far from this place. Its a little pricier but a whole lot better.

Very disappointed in the lady at front desk on Tuesday 5/30. We walked in at 9:20pm, the closing time says 10:30pm and she asked instantly if we wanted take out. We replied dine in and she looked disappointed and said they close at 10pm. ?! That set the mood for dinner. Otherwise its beautiful inside,very clean and the food is amazing. She should not be working here.

I’d give this zero stars if I could. I called to order food, asked two questions, the lady was extremely rude and actually hung up on me when I asked her why she was being that way. I called back and asked for a manager, she was even more rude this time and hung up again. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Poor customer service and poor quality food. Was a long time customer but, after a change in personnel / management the quality of food and customer service substandard. I will never eat here again after several years of dedicated business. Their are plenty of other options in the area that are much better for a better price.

I love Lotus Garden. We have been eating there for over 17 years and plan on going there for another 17 years. The negative reviews are beyond my experience with them. Someone gave them a 1 star because of delivery issues for one person.. restaurants have minimum order sizes so expecting that is too much.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I ordered here once and as I started eating I noticed this horrible smell coming from my Chicken Fried Rice. It smelled like spoiled two week old dog food. When I go back to get a refund the lady says "Its not bad, Its only dark chicken meat." Dont eat here unless you want to get sick.

They have delicious food here. Their "I dont know" chicken (chicken in a peanut butter sauce) is amazing. Weve always been pleased with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Its also not terribly expensive for the price, and you get a LOT of food. They have good lunch specials too.

the worst phone service. horrible customer service. late delivery and didnt bring the complete order had to wait an additional 45 mins to recive the rest of the order. no manager was present to assist with the problems. overal worst service ever and will never recomende.

TERRIBLE service. I called to place my order over the phone and was told "they couldnt take it over the phone" when my friend just ordered. Handed my husband the phone and he called was hung up on repeadily. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. No wonder the place is always dead.

Very Rude. Lady sitting at desk acted like I wasnt even there. She let me stand there, then slowly looked up as if she werent running a business where someone comes in and buys something.. Not friendly at all. No manners. I took my food left and never went back.

Women who run the front of house do not respect the client. We have been going there for over 18 yrs and still return (only for pick up - will not eat in because service is awful - are they doing us a favor?) because we have a handful of favorites.
