I had heard good things about this place, so when we planned a day in Animal Kingdom I made sure this was one of our stops. I ordered the half rack of ribs, which was served with sides of bake beans, cole slaw, and jalepeno corn bread. It turned out to be a ton of food, so I cant imagine ordering a full rack. Ribs were great with a nice flavor. They werent drowning in sauce or smothered in a rub. They really were just right. Not quite fall off the bone, but very tender and flavorful. I was impressed that such high quality barbecue came from a quick service restaurant at a theme park. Well done.

I really liked the Flame Tree Barbecue restaurant. Its too bad I cant give half stars because I like it better than the three star rating but its just not at the level of some restaurants (in Disney World) Ive given four stars to. The food is always good and the quantities are awesome. You really get your moneys worth here. As the name implies its mostly BBQ offerings and they do it very well. If youre spending the day at Disneys Animal Kingdom and are looking for a reasonably priced quick service meal Flame Tree gets a very high recommendation from me.

This quick service restaurant is quite popular, so the line, particularly at meal times, can often look intimidatingly long. However, with a large number of order windows typically open, it move quite quickly. Seating is available behind the restaurant, on the river, and while the nearest tables fill quickly, the area is quite large so finding a seat is generally not a problem. The BBQ options are the most popular here, but don’t overlook the salads, as they are really very good.

This place is my favorite place to eat at Animal Kingdom!!! This BBQ is so yummy! I had the Ribs, Chicken, & Pulled Pork sampler- & let me tell you- the portions was more than enough to fill up my husband and me. The dish comes with beans, coleslaw, & jalapeño bread & it was so good!!! I cant wait to go back. Best use of a quick service credit at Animal Kingdom!

One of the best, if not The best quick service locations at Disney From the barbecue chicken, to the pulled-pork, even the onion rings are great! The only downside to this restaurant, is that you have to go into the Animal Kingdom park to enjoy the food Disney needs a restaurant like this to enjoy, without having to buy a theme park ticket...

If its a busy day in the park, send someone in your party to get a table when you get in line. There are plenty of tables, but they fill pretty quickly. The seating area is well-shaded, so its a decent place to rest. The food is good, better than usual theme park cuisine, and the staff works hard to keep things clean and moving quickly.

Ok everyone, you cannot pass this restaurant up in the Animal Kingdom. Not only does the amazing smell travel throughout the park, the food is plentiful and AMAZING! I had the ribs, beans, and grapes combo back on a December visit, and it was all gone within minutes! The seating is nice (on the water), and it leaves you VERY full.

I dont understand why the reviews are so good. It was very bland barbeque and large birds were stealing food off of childrens plates. Had bugs bothering us and had to sit out in the hot humid weather. The pulled pork fries were ok. Frozen fries with fake cheese. People must just be very hungry from walking around the park.

Half chicken was amazing. Opted for just the chicken instead of the meal (which includes coleslaw, beans, and cornbread). Its about a $3 difference in price. Chose fries instead ($2.99). Make sure to get the barbecue sauce from the pavilion, especially the sweet and spicy one.

Decent BBQ, and fast friendly service. Im a BBQ fanatic, and I was pleased with this place. For being a quick service restaurant the pulled pork, ribs, and chicken were all moist, tender, and flavorful. The sauce options are limited, but okay. I would eat there again.

BEST food place here out of the entire park. I did came here few years ago and the food was great too. Slight improvement, easy to order, great chicken. Slightly pricy, but worth the cost. Recommended if you are hungry and skipped breakfast. I WILL come here again.

Food was good. I had the ribs and chicken combo and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich. I got two ribs and a smallish leg and thigh. Pulled pork sandwich was a generous serving on a nice bread roll. Beans and Cole slaw were good too. I would eat there again.

Amazing food... we had a pulled pork sandwich, a rib and chicken combo with brand, slaw, and corn bread and added 2 sides... fries and onion rings... all washed down with diet coke... beautiful and in a great setting over looking expedition everest... wow!

I Love the food here. Its the best BBQ at Disney World in my opinion. Lots of outdoor seating. And if youre on the dining plan two people can easily split the ribs and chicken plate, especially if you get an extra side of loaded fries instead of desert

The barbeque is decent for a quick service, and the portions are large enough for two. My personal favorite is the 1/2 Chicken, which is moist and delicious. The outside seating is beautiful and expansive, with an excellent view of the lake.

Staff were friendly and it had a nice seating area where lots of birds and ducks would come up to try and pinch some food. They must have cottoned on that people didnt really like the food on offer. It was a bit bland and tasteless

Eaten here twice so far, had the half chicken the first time and the chicken salad this time. Food very good both times, good amount of seating, quiet and music was relaxing. Great break midday, definitely coming back.

Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Had the pork sandwich and fries with cheese and pork. Wed eat there again. Seating can be difficult to find, but keep going towards the water, theres bound to be seats available.

Food choice is nice break from the fried food norm at Disney counter service but the seating area is just a madhouse with birds and such. You may just time it great though so Ill split the difference... 3 stars ;)

I forgot they had changed the salad and the serving size, they put what seems like fried/over cooked pieces of cornbread as croutons and theyre too hard to bite. The ribs werent that great either, very dry.

The ribs and chicken were dry, hard, and nasty. I went to Disney world on July 5, 2017 and spent $17.57 there. I was hungry and tired, but we threw the food away. I have warned you.
