I ordered Pepper steak and it turned out to be dry. I was really hungry and it was later in the evening, about 930pm. So, the next day, I called them and they said to bring it back in. Mind you, the female employee who I also think may be the manager or the owner was very short with me and extremely rude. Ewwww.. I was thinking... So, I took the nasty food at this point that just looking at it was a source of frustration sense I was still hungry that previous night and now I was hungry again the next day, which was today, but couldnt stomach eating that food and it made me sick. I went ahead and called them back and told them I would come and bring it back and get a new plate. Before I could say anything else, the same female manager hung up on me. I was thinking, Oh man, I hope my food is going to be ready when I get there sense I called it in. So, I get there and it takes her a minute to come out from the back as Im standing there. Eventually, after what seemed a while, she came around to the front and I asked her, is it ready because my taxi is waiting. She acted like she wasnt expecting me and had nothing ready. Instead, she snapped my food and walked it to the back where she then stayed gone for another long 3 to 4 minutes while I waited up front and my taxi waited outside. So, I kept calling her to come back up front because I coulddnt wait and they should have had this meal already prepared for me... Since I had to leave and I couldnt wait, I asked for a refund. At this point, I was frustrated and just wanted to get my money back. I said to her, I dont know why your treating me like this, I come here all the time and I send other people here all the time as I run a bed and breakfast not too far away from there. "And she simply gave me money and said, "well, dont come back"... I was so humiliated that she said that to me as I have been a patron there for about 5 years and she is going to say something like that to me???!! I said, Okay , then I wont come back and I wont send anyone else here either. She seemed just fine with that as well. After I left, I went to McDonalds, because I had to eat which cost me more in my taxi because of her rude attitude and very poor service. Later that evening, when the night had come, a few hours later, I called back and asked to speak to the manager. She was the one who answered the phone and didnt put anyone else on to speak to me. So, I assume she was the manager, but she wouldnt tell me her name, even though I asked. By now, I have been going there for year, and because of this situation, I really needed to know her name just to be able to be respectful in addressing her. But she wouldnt give it. I found all of this to be concerning. Plus, if you are complaining about service, its good to get the name of the person to whom you have a complaint. Anyway, she was short again, and hung up on me several times. But it was important to me, so I made sure she knew that if she hung up on me again when Im just trying to understand why the service to me has been so bad, that I would leave a bad review for their restaurant on Google and on Yelp as well as lodge a report with the Orange County Food Inspector, in reference to my complaints. I felt that the food I was eating there that made me a little sick. I would have rather discussed this with them, but they preferred to hang up on me. They didnt care about service or public health at all was my impression. I felt then and I still feel now that they are a danger to the public and dont care about quality of food or service. And should you ever question their service or food, they will tell you not to come back again and continue endangering the public with bad practices that clearly need to be looked at. AS a general manager of a Restaurant myself for many years, I was shocked what I witnessed there.

Ive been eating lunch there for years. They have the best the egg foo young around. The chicken wings are a hit (something about the light and crispy breading on the skin, there is almost no breading - but always crispy). I can eat the wings plain with no sauce, and theyre amazing. And their beer prices are super low compared to any bar/restaurant in Orlando. Also, the older lady who runs the place is very nice when you get to know her.

This Palace is a HoT Spot that we enjoy at least twice a month. The portions are large and they dont skimp on the meats. We always preorder and the food is on time an freash. The delishes egg rolls are made to order and sooooo good.

overall this is a pretty good restaurant. Everything appears to be clean and tidy inside. The service is good. Food is pretty good too. And the prices are reasonable. Not much more to say about this location.
