After trying a few other American Chinese places in the area, my girlfriend and I decided to give China Wok a try. I placed a phone order for takeout and ordered the same things we get from other similar restaurants, so as to compare fairly. As usual I get the large Orange Chicken, and Crab Rangoon, she gets the beef Lo Mein, and we split a large Wonton Soup. Upon walking in, the guy at the register was too involved in his cell phone to even notice I had walked in the front door and up to the counter. I had to clear my throat to get his attention, twice. Then he got up and started putting my order together, all the while looking back at me like I wasnt supposed to show up, or look in the back and watch him. It took him 10 minutes to box and bag up my order, this was on top of the already 10 minutes he had told me it would be until it was ready, as well as the extra 6 minutes it took for me to get there. Needless to say, service wasnt impressive. The decor was typical "American Chinese takeout in a strip mall" decor. Nothing special and nothing fancy. There are a few tables and chairs to sit and eat there, but nothing that made me want to stay and eat there. There is a restroom accessible from the lobby. The orange chicken wasnt the best, but it was definitely better than any of the other places around. The flavor was off but the chicken was good and tender. The portion seemed a little small to me for it to be a large. The crab rangoon just sucked and it tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The portion size, however, was way more than I expected. The wonton soup was good, but there were only 6 wontons in a large container. The beef lo mein was amazing and was the best thing we ordered. portioned exactly right and exploding in flavor it was the best weve had in a while. Overall, we both would eat from here again if we wanted American Chinese.

The flavor and consistency of the mandarin fried chicken is disgusting. The flavor of the general Tsos chicken is odd, more sweet than spicy. The egg drop soup tastes fishy. The spring rolls taste like the frozen store bought kind. The fortune cookies are stale. They package the bags terribly (I had a soup tip over and spill everywhere!) They also do not offer online ordering or delivery. ...Should I go on? I have ordered twice form this place in the past year. We have ordered over $50 of food each time, and out of 6 people, none of us have anything positive to say. The reasons I gave this place a 2 star instead of a 1 are: The staff was friendly, the place looked clean, and we got a free soda with our order (which most places offer with large orders anyway). Overall, none of us will be ordering from this place again. There are many other Chinese restaurants in the area with better tasting food at the same, if not better, prices.

Been a couple of times now. The first time was good but this time was amazing! We went on a Saturday lunch time and it was a little busier than usual, which meant the food took quite a long time. Thats the only downer, he said 15 minutes and it took 30. But it was well worth the wait. The food was obviously fresh and it was all delicious! This is the best Chinese food Ive had in Orlando.

This is the second times that I ordered food from this chinese restaurant. The service was good but they need to change their cook. The special fried rice was horrible, they put green beens that is uncooked. Even my 5 year old wouldnt eat the food and he loves chinese food. I will never go back to that place again. Waste of time and money.

Pretty good food! The staff was friendly and fast, even though it looked like it was a busy night. We got the sesame chicken, and it was a large portion of food for what you pay for. We also ordered chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice, and they were awesome as well. We were so happy with the food, were about to order it right now.

I had a few meals here and though the food is not terrible, its also not great. Lo mein was overcooked and had too much sauce on it. Their egg rolls are small and not very good. Their orange chicken is good though.. Shanghai across the street in the Publix shopping plaza is much better and consistent.

Always get my food fresh, fast and accurate. I have been eating here for a while now and have never had a less than 5 star experience. Hands down the best place in the area and while there are MANY choices...this is the ONLY one you wont regret making. Yum!

The food was exactly what hat you expect from a good Chinese restaurant. Inexpensive and nothing amazing, but suffice to say it was very good. The staff did not speak English fluently, but well enough to take my order with no issues.

I wasnt expecting much walking in, though, they have a nice clean place, the food was actually very good! It refreshing to walk into a Chinese restaurant that doesnt have tacky paper, hand written signs posted all over the walls.

This place has been a great place to visit. Living in the local area the closest option is either the mall or sushi. They customize my order with a smile and its always right. All I can ask for!

Good food best in that area. Only thing I do not like is that you do not have to sign your receipts if you pay by debt/credit card.
