Awesome! We went there for lunch and had the french onion soup and Escargots “au gratin” for appetizer. Both were so tasty and delicious, far better than we had expected. Main dish was the Assiette gourmande and Quiche Florentine. The quiche was lightly crusted made from Phillo dough with melted cheese with light side salad. We couldnt decide which dressing to choose so we had all of them, sundried tomatoes, Aged Balsamic and French herbs and all three were equally superb. For dessert we had the Creme Brulee which was the best we ever had. The custard was so sweet and the topping was so crunchy and tasty. Our waiter was the owner who was so accommodating and friendly and his wife was the hostess. We had visited there one night close to closing time and had to leave because they were closing soon. When we came back on this visit they remembered us and were so thankful we had returned. Soup du jour was pumpkin and sweet potato. We were so full that we took a cup home and enjoyed it for dinner. Would definitely return for light lunch and dinner. If you cannot find parking, there is an alley just east that will lead you to more parking behind an adjacent building. Cant wait to try the crepes on next visit

My husband and I have been wanting to make it to Escargot Bistro since they opened 2 months ago. We know the owners, Andrea and Didier, from their ownership of The Paris Cafe in West Palm Beach, and we consider them dear friends. Having said that, it did not color our review here of the restaurant. We were anticipating wonderful and WONDERFUL is exactly what we got! Andrea and Didier are warm and inviting hosts, attentive to your every culinary request. We shared the escargot mille feuille appetizer. Then my husband had the frogs legs and I had the branzino. WOW - everything was superb! While Andrea and Didier both know their way around the kitchen, they have brought in a French chef, Jacque, who really knows how to prepare fabulous food. The 1 tricky part is parking b/c E.B. is right next to a huge asian restaurant which gobbles up most of the parking spaces in the shopping center, however, there is parking in nearby lots. The dinner is so worth any parking difficulty one might encounter. The night we dined, they had a full seating of guests so I think reservations may be necessary. Call, go, enjoy! Mickey&Manny

Today my friends and I celebrated my upcoming birthday here. In my last review I said the quiche looked fantastique. Now I can tell you it tastes magnifique! I loved it! The quiche Lorraine was creamy and rich with a velvety interior and a delicious crust. Two of us recommend it highly. Other friends had the salad plaisir. The salad had strawberries, pecans and slices of roast chicken. The salad dressings are incredible! Everything was delightful and delicious. The four of us shared 2 desserts. One was a meringue disc covered with ice cream, whipped cream and a delicious chocolate sauce. The other was a crepe Helene with preserved pears- dont know what preserved them but I think it was alcoholic- ice cream, whipped cream and almonds. Out of this world! The ambiance in this little place is delightful. Andrea and Didier are friendly and were very helpful to my GF friend. Looking forward to my next visit to try the soupe a lonion.

A friend suggested we eat here on my first evening in Lauderdale by the Sea and quite frankly I was amazed to find this unique, and quaint piece of France in the middle of the southern US. The owners and the chef were a delight making the experience intimate and truly charming. The ambience was so authentic and the food so exquisite and commensurate of a good french restaurant that one could close their eyes and imagine they were indeed, in France. I have eaten in many french restaurants around the globe including in France, and I do not hesitate in saying that this was some of the best french cuisine that I have experienced in my lifetime. My hat is off to the owners and their chef and I look forward to returning again in April with my family!! Bravo!!

Truly the best Hidden Gem in South Florida. Owned and operated by an extremely friendly and helpful couple. And the food is cooked by a chef with excellent credentials and it truly shows. A wide range of different types of foods, soups, excellent salads, a very attractively priced wine list, and of course escargot. It is honestly some of the best food Ive had in my life. And I am quite a food connoisseur. There is nothing about your experience here that doesnt produce a smile. You will never go wrong with anything on the menu. And the atmosphere is so wonderful and friendly that you feel like youre an honored guest at the owners home.

A very cozy French restaurant with excellent service. Its owners are personal and make you feel at home. The food is off the chain!!! I recommend everything, if you never had escargot THIS is the place to try it; never chewy and always well seasoned. I am a steak person, and they have never disappointed me with their meats, French couscous, cauliflower is a must try. The crepe St Helens or the chocolate mousse are both very good options for desert. My favorite beer kronenberg is served there as well

Amazing/ Authentic French food! I visited Escargot Bistro with my father and boyfriend and we were all very pleased! We started off with the French onion soup, the potatoe and leek soup , crab cakes, & the traditional escargot. For the entrees, we ordered the Sole fish( the evening special) & filet mignon with a side of Cesar salad. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICiOUS! We will definitely be back! :)

A charming original French restaurant. It brings a little French "gourmandise" heaven in Fort Lauderdale. Thank you Andrea and Didier!
