After waiting about 45 minutes (we time everything in restaurants for this reason) with no refills, no table checks, we got up to see what was taking so long for our food. The server was rude when responding saying we had only had the food in for 17 minutes (which is still too long for breakfast, Ive worked at breakfast places and I currently work at a steak house and not even steak dinners take 17 minutes to cook, and I also knowhow long eggs take to cook). However, because Im in the business Im patient, I know things come up and I can see if someone is being ran by a table. My server was no where to be seen for the whole duration of us waiting for our food. So for 20 minutes (according to him) we sat without refills, without being checked on, even a "hey sorry the food is taking so long, it should be right out" wouldve made things better. His body language and demeanor made everything uncomfortable, and he wasnt in the slightest apologetic, just very defensive and even as he put our food down was telling us we were wrong. Weve been to the restaurant numerous times before this, we used to love it and recommend it to people and bring our family from out of town there but we will never be back. It was my boyfriends birthday breakfast and Im so disappointed and regret choosing to spend it at this restaurant. The waiter was most rude to him, shoving his toast that came late in his face. Its sad because I like to support family owned restaurants and the food has always been decent but its obvious the waiter doesnt value his job and because I know his parents own the restaurant I wont be returning. I would have left 0 stars if possible.

I visit this area often and Grand Plaza Cafe is my favorite restuarant. Breakfast , lunch or dinner , you cant go wrong. Your choices are many and each dish is better than the next. This establishment is operated by a husband and wife team who are so in tune with the customers dining experience and thats rare these days. The place is beautiful but more important , spotless , immaculate. The service is outstanding and the food again, delicious. The omelettes are amazing , the sandwiches superb ( my favorite is the Pastrami) the homemade soups are outstanding and the dinners are fabulous ( I love the steak ) . Dont leave without trying the Cheesecake ....... that alone is worth the visit. I hardly leave reviews, but this one I cant pass up. This place is a Jewel.

I was a regular there . The food was good but I handed my credit card to the server at the end of the meal and headed to the bathroom. On my way back to my table I saw my credit card completely exposed in the middle of the cash register desk with NO ONE around. I waited there until the server came back and pointed out that my card could have been stolen during the time that it was left unattended. He told me "I was here all the time". I said you were not since you just arrived. I asked to talk to the manager and the manager denied the whole thing... it was not a problem to them to leave my credit card on unattended like that. I never went back and I dont recommend it to anyone as they are not careful with our credit cards.

Food was "ok". We came as a group of 6 and the place was not busy. It seemed to take forever to get our food and when we did, it came out 1 person at a time. Seems the line cook cant multi task. The waitress was cute and very friendly but seems like she rushed us out even though the place wasnt busy. She closed our checks without asking if we wanted dessert, coffee, or anything. I very seldom write a bad review, but I honestly just didnt have a good experience here.

There its this long haired girl with a beard that works there... For some reason he got someone confused with me and thought he was making me and my fiance a "special sandwich" and hoped we enjoyed it... yiu should know what that means! "special sandwich" (spit or something) anyways we have never been there so someone got a "special sandwich".. He has a problem and a grudge... So if you look like me dont eat there! Aka MOB

includes dinner, a couple of beers , wine and a cannoli. Everything was very good. We would definitely return again. Eggplant appetizer was to die for, and now I want to try the entree. I had the special Mahi Mahi and hubby had the strip. Not one single complaint about anything. Food was slow, but well worth the wait. We were in no rush.

After hearing good things about this place and they were featured on the local news i couldnt wait to go there. Yeah... dont bother my meal was cold there appetizers suck, service was slow and its way over priced. I could go to Bonefish for the same money and way better food. If your thinking about stopping here keep on driving.

I LOVE chicken francse...I have tried it at many places! That includes Italy! They served me the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! Absolutely delicious! In fact having eaten there approximately 8 times...we have never gotten a bad meal breakfast, lunch, or now dinner!

Three couples went there last night 6/20/13. Service was the best, Food was excellent. Weve been there several times and ALWAYS had a good meal. Prices are a little higher the MacDonalds but well worth it. Well be back
