After a few years of always driving by when theyre closed, I finally got some OBC today. Very pleased to see that the patio had been redone completely and is extremely welcoming. Very comfortable under shade with entertaining tv and surround sound. The staff is extremely welcoming, and are sure to compliment your Maryland decals if you have them. Theyre always glad to have your business and present the best food. The food never changes. The same food I got a few years ago is the same food I got today. Consistently delicious. Made to order, fresh food. A few new additions to their menu will give everyone just what they want. I ordered the crab Mac bisque, the classic a la carte crabcake, and the cream of crab. I would order it all over again if I had room. As wonderful as their current spot is, I would be proud to see them open a full service restaurant with hard crabs :) 10/10 would recommend.

We were in New Port Richey to visit my friends sister, and went to OBC on a whim. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We arrived at 5 pm, unaware that they are a BYOB establishment. Even though they were closing in an hour, they offered to wait to start cooking our food so that we could go to the nearby Publix (also a Speedway nearby) to get a few beers to drink. When we returned, the food was ready for us within a few minutes. We had the steamed shrimp, baked ziti with crab bisque special, and the crabcake and fish platter. All the food was delicious! Our sweet waitress checked on us frequently, and she and the owner made sure we felt welcome to stay and enjoy the patio as long as we liked, although they were closing soon. We enjoyed the food and service so much, we ate here again the next day.

Wow! I just had the crab cake sandwich and it was awesome! If you are looking for authentic New England style seafood, you have just found it. The cook was very nice and I received my food promptly, My crab cake was served on a fresh bun with fresh crisp lettuce and a tomato. The crab cake was so good I did not even need to add any condiments. I looked over their menu and I think I need to work through the whole thing. I will definitely be back

Was well worth the 45 min drive. Being from Maryland I know a real crab cake. Marty has it nailed. Ya sit outside at umbrella pick tables. Bring your own cooler of beer or wine as they dont sell but you can drink yours there. It aint fancy but my experience is thats often where the best food is. Thanks Marty see you soon. They dont fake the cake!!

The sandwiches here are fantastic--some of the best easy-to-find seafood in Pasco, and a great lunch stop. Their homemade hot sauce is really good and Im salivating just thinking about it now. The prices are a little steep, but the food is excellent for a little hole-in-the-wall and the service is great!

What can you say about this place. Straight outta Guy Fieris DDD this hut at the side of Little Rd is knocking out killer crab cakes for under $10. The crab cake sandwich is to die for and the ODC burrito (shrimp and crab cake) is equally great. You have to try this place!!

My wife and I are from Baltimore and we know crab cakes. We had a crab cake sandwich and a dinner with potato salad and cole slaw. They make their own old bay chips that came with the sandwich. Everything was great, and we plan to go back soon.

As a transplanted Marylander, I can honestly say that OBC has the best crab cakes and crab soups outside of Baltimore. The folks are all out friendly and I think its time for another daytime drive up the road.
