Absolutely terrible experience today. We walked in the door and no one greeted us, then when they finally greeted us they had us sit in a booth in the back of the restaurant. A woman approached us and told us that we cant sit here and said it was reserved very rude. We told her that her staff had us sit there. She then said we had to move! The ladies where then discussing where they were going to put us. They tried to stick is at a table on the other side of the restaurant. Made us get up in front of everyone and embarrassed us. We decided to leave and never come back again. As I sit here at Rams family restaurant at Hudson Ave writing this review i cant help but think I couldnt have made a better choice. Leaving and going to the restaurant that we should have went to begin with. We are always greeted at Rams family restaurant with smiles and hellos. Dont waste your money here and go to Rams around the corner. We will never go back and anytime someone mentions this place we will always tell them of our awful experience.

Since we have been going here the service and management have been going down hill. They have a sign that says, This is not Burger King, you do not get it your way, and they mean it. For example today, we went there for breakfast. I ordered the toast with one egg and choice of meat. I asked for an english muffin and cheese. When the bill came I was over charged. I brought it to the waitresses attention and I was told that her management told her to over charge me, like if I had ordered a croissant. I asked if she could show me where it says this and she said No, that is what was she told. She could correct it but I would be over charged for the same order again in the future. For a service industry this place has the wrong attitude, its their way or you dont get anything.. I wouldnt come back to this place if I was starving.

While I have gone to the Oaks Cafe before for breakfast, and at one time liked it, I didnt care for the experience I had there yesterday - or the food. Apparently if you go to the Oaks Cafe after 2:30, you must order from the full dinner menu, so its full dinner or nothing. Because of that I was going to go somewhere else, but the waitress who was nice, talked me into staying & I did order one of the lighter entrees, the grouper platter. Unfortunately, I cant say it was all that good, for one thing I ordered it grilled but when it was served the fish & seafood was fried. I didnt bother complaining or sending it back. Ill just say that if Im looking for a $14.00 dinner, Id definitely prefer to dine somewhere else.

We found this cafe, just by Googling it. When we first pulled up, we were a bit skeptical as it seemed to be a bit cluttered on the windows and out front. However, the moment we stepped inside, we realized the place was very clean and tidy. The breakfasts were awesome. My husband hadnt had SOS in a very long time and the homefries were DELICIOUS! Waitresses were very nice and service was fast and food was hot and good! We also tried lunch there. They have many specials and a lot to choose from, but I think the breakfasts were better than the lunches. This has become one of our favorite places for breakfast. Even when they are crowded, the food still comes out fast!

Clean! I personally work here. After our shift we have at least 2 hours of cleaning everyday. We constantly keep everything in perfect shape while working, then after the shift we make sure every little thing has a final clean before we leave. The food is awesome! So many options to choose from. If youre looking for Greek dishes you can choose from a huge Greek salad, small salad and soup, spanakopita, or real gyro meat. Not the frozen kind. Our coffee is always fresh as we serve so much of it we dont even have time to let it sit and we grind our beans every morning to ensure fresh coffee. Need to know anything else? Check us out!

I went for crab legs they were out and nothing to substitute it. So ordered steak, when it arrived all the steaks were either over done or under done. Salad was lettuce and a couple pieces of tomatoes and cucumbers, lets add dressing in a cup like a to go order. Waitress was nice though. Also, asked for a to go order they refused because they were short staffed. Sorry but what is the difference in putting it on a plate or in a box. Overall i felt like i was at a nursing home or eating hospital food. Would never recommend this place for anything.

I dont know where some of the people get their mediocre reviews for this restuarant. I have gone there in just the past two weeks at least 6 times and never have I had a bad meal or service, people are friendly, food is good, and the prices are right, if your having a bad day and go here, the ladies behind the counter will make you feel better, from Margeret to Jess, Kriss, and the rest of the staff keep up the great service, see you soon! And I will be there the morning of April 6 for a yummy breakfast! Frank

Just got off the phone with who i am assuming was one of the owners. I was inquiring about the fish special tonight and she was extremely rude. Wont be dining there again. Over heard the male owner one day talking about port richey being the gutter of florida and everyone is slums here. Is that a way to talk about people who are spending their hard earned money in your establishment. Wont be me...not anymore

My husband n I eat at Oaks at least once a week for dinner sometimes 2-3 a week. We love the food n service n staff! Great food! Not 1 bad thing to say about Oaks. The $1 charge for using ur card is ok with me I know from experience the company charges the resteraunt a fee as well to take cards.. Keep up the awesome food n service Margerte, and its very clean place to eat!

Have driven down there 5 times and 3 of those times the place was closed during regular business hours for whatever reason. This is no way to run a business. If your going to post hours then you should be open. People waste their time and gas driving there just to find the doors locked. Not worth the trouble, the food is mediocre at best.

Customer Service is the worst i have ever seen. Very slow service but good cooks i will have to say. I have been told several times that i cannot place a take-out order. There is no regard to customers or EMPLOYEES. The Blue Dolphin across the street is now my new place to eat and they know how to take care of paying customers.

Breakfast and lunch served till 2:30, got there at 2:20 and they refused to serve us one of the specials on the board. We were the only customers on the place. We wont be back and dont recommend. The waitress couldnt have been ruder. Wanted us to pay for drinks that hadnt been served yet.
