I had heard the countless stories of how people had been mistreated here. I had observed it from afar on many occasions. And last night, it finally happened to me. In all my years of going out to have a cocktail and dance with friends… in all corners of the globe… never, and I mean never, have I been asked to leave an establishment. Much less manhandled! What was my offense?? Well I wasn’t told that, before I was shoved across the building and out the door by a man 3X my size. I can only surmise that it has something to do with my refusal of the owners oh so generous offer (*barf) to be his mistress. You see, this self proclaimed “king of New Port Richey” thinks he runs this town and has the power to do whatever he wants, and treat people however he wants, just because he swooped in and renovated a distressed property downtown. Make no mistake about it… he has no interest in this community, as he looks down on its occupants as mere peons beneath “the king”. Moreover, he’s not even a US citizen.. so are you truly putting your money back into the community when you come here? What he wanted was an outlet for his midlife crisis, where he could escape being home with his wife and small children. What better way to commit adultery, than to open a nightclub? Welcome to his kingdom… where if you don’t play by his “rules”, you get forcefully ejected. Mind you, I had not even had one drink… as I hadn’t even had the opportunity to make my way to the bar yet, so any claims of refusing service due to consumption are completely unfounded. I never used any profane language or was in any way a nuisance to their patrons….even as the bouncer was wringing my arms and dragging me. So I welcome any explanation as to why this happened. Any LEGAL… justifiable explanation…. Please tell. After the incident I called the police, who will also be looking for your reasoning behind putting your hands on woman that offered absolutely no threat whatsoever.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. HORRIBLE FOOD. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I got hired to work by former GM Doug, he was great. The assistant manager Diana on the other hand is lazy, unprofessional, and completely vulgar. She had hired me on Wednesday, May 25th to work the next day. Of course not giving me enough time to prepare for the job but being 1 step ahead I had a uniform ready to go. I came in and she was on the phone the entire time, sitting and gossipping with 2 other managers in the lounge upstairs for the 4 hours I worked. There were people waiting at the hostess stand a total of 3 times during my 1st training shift, being curtious I sat them myself. They are a very dirty restaurant. The servers do not do any side work what so ever. The food is made disgustingly, cooks in the kitchen eat from plates themselves. They are a very unprofessional and obnoxious staff. Also, I followed Michelle for my first time to serve. She was very aggressive. She assumed she knew everything and anything that had to do with the restaurant.... Even her tables did not agree. So 2/4 tables that night did not tip her and specifically waited on the back patio for me to get off to give me a tip for being so attentive on my first day!! I was brought in to replace 3 servers my self with my experience at the age of 21! I could not believe what I saw in this restaurant, I had to call it quits after my first night because of the service, the food (which is not freshly prepared at all, it comes in frozen bags), the atmosphere, and most of all the management!!! I do not recommend! 0 stars! If you want to make this food go to Aldis, that is where they get their ingredients. Sorry to disappoint but I had to speak up.

We came here for our work Christmas party (~32 people and no one else in the restaurant) at 1 pm last Thurs. The only good thing I can say about it is the appetizers (crab cakes, chicken bits, stuffed mushrooms) werent bad. The rest was pretty much a train wreck. They thought that putting us upstairs with one waitress and one bartender was a good idea for good service and the manager just wandered around downstairs; the waitress needs to find a better job for her lack of personality. To start, I asked for something virgin because I wasnt able to drink that day; the best the bartender could come up with was a glass of juice. I ordered the Mahi with mash and mixed veg. When I finally got my food (half of our party was done eating before the other half even got their food!), the fish was raw and the rest was lukewarm. When I got it back, it was the same food with part of the fish missing, albeit cooked now, and now the mash and veg were cold. I didnt bother sending it back because it took forever to get my food to begin with. For those that ordered steaks and burgers, not a single one was cooked to the proper temp - they were all at least a full temp under, and the burgers were raw. None of the steaks were seasoned at all, either. I got the chocolate mousse which tasted like a bad generic chocolate pudding. Overall I felt horrible for our CEO, CFO, and our girl who organized the party. This place cant handle a big group, has a horrible chef, and is far too overpriced for the quality. Ill stick with my favorite restaurant, Bonefish Grill.

Very nice Upscale scene and awsome live raegae band on Fridays outside only.thats about it.food they serve you outside patio is cold and not very tasty waiters were to few to handle the number of tables .also no working POS system for ordering and paying bills outdoors so the waiters had to run inside and the bartender with his outdoor canopy could only take cash and no one seem to be able to fix it and prices where to high for outdoor bartending serving drinks in plastic and small cups they should work on the perceive value of that if they want to charge that much. -service is below average and lacks high end infustry training and protocols if they want to be perceive as a high end restaurant -food is average, some plates are good -price is high ,but they could get away with it if they tweak the staff with proper protocols and high end service training and improve food quality, they have the basics they just need management and ownership to get on the same page and there team there i supposed if they hired a seasonal general manager in the high end industry could striaghten them out. This is my second visit so i had a legitimate chance before posting this.they have a identity crisis and management and ownership needs to open theres eyes they want to be upscale but dont know how to act it. it will get by for a while but not the long game maybe a few years till they get tire of the money bleeding out ,hope this review lights the fire they need.

Well I always go into Tampa for fine dinning, but I live in New Port Richey. There are quite a few good restaurants in Pasco County, but not much in fine dinning. Me and my wife have been to most of the high end restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. We have been to Berns, Charlies, Roys, Eddie Vs, Island Way Grill etc..etc. So we figured lets give Dulcet a shot right in our backyard. We started with a crab cake appetizer which was good. Then we each had the arugula salad with crab meat. The salad was all arugula very little anything else, U can only eat so much crabgrass. Then our main meal came out, I had the Rack of Lamb for $30 and it consisted of 3 tiny medallions of lamb and some steamed veggies ? My wife wanted the Halibut but they came out and told us they were out? Because she dose not eat meat, it was pretty limited. They said they could make her salmon and she agreed. Her salmon was so salty it was inedible and she took it home for the cat, who also wouldnt eat it. We figured we would try everything so we shared a desert. They told us it was some kind of brownie covered in some brown sauce with ice cream and fruit. This was another disaster, as we had no idea what we were eating. The desert was free because it took so long to come out, and the place was pretty empty for a Friday night. I dont think I would go back after dropping $135.00 for 2 people who were not impressed. I guess its back to Tampa for the Good Stuff !!
