Scoops on 5th is by far the best ice cream shop in all of downtown Mount Dora. With a great atmosphere, lovely staff, and so many delicious choices for sweets you NEED to come by and check it out. 36 flavors of Icecream, and at least 30 or more different options for bakery items like cookies and cakes. Have tried just about everything in this perfect shop in my 3 years of taking my family year and have enjoyed every last bit of what we have gotten. The service is amazing; the young women who work here know how to create a memorable experience for your family and let you try the flavors so you can find the perfect choice. Would give this Icecream shop 100 stars if I could.

Stopped in for ice cream but ordered a cupcake and eclair instead. Ice cream is Hersheys so i am sure it is tasty; however, I ordered the peanut butter cup cupcake and it was very good. Frosting was flavorful and not weighed down with sugar, chocolate cupcake was good. My husband got the chocolate eclair and it wasnt very good, dry and not very tasty or flavorful- a little bland. Overall I would go for ice cream and maybe another cupcake.

Scoops on 5th is an ice cream store that reminds you of one from times of past. Great atmosphere/decor and excellent service. If you are ever in Mount Dora, this is a must stop place!

So glad we stopped in! Amazing ice cream and the waffle cones were the best. Cookies were giant and couldnt ask for anything more.
