As cute as this place is the service was horrible. If you have a place where people can just come in and take a seat then make sure your servers are paying attention to everyone. We waited there for a good 10 to 15 minutes without being approach. I had to go to the register to get someone to help. They also took forever. Finally when we went to pay, there was a line of about 10 people, a young man waa making a coffee while on his cell phone and didnt even turn around to acknowledge any of us. We waited in line for a good 10 minutes before anyone took care of us. The coffee was ok, the coconut cake was very superficially sweet and it was not worth the wait or hassle. I would like to come back and try other things with a more attentive service.

Over the years of coming here, the quality seems to degrade with every visit. The employees have not the slightest clue what the difference between a latte, cappuccino and a macchiato is. Nor can they seem to make a drink without using dead shots or burnt milk. And god forbid you explain it to them, because your wrong and shouldve asked for it this way. It truly is a shame when at one point we only cane here for the coffee. Only employee that seems to make wonderful drinks is a young man that works in the evening.

Cozy coffee/light meal restaurant. Great place to linger, reading a book or hanging out with friends. Delicious desserts and coffee. Particularly love the hot chai latte on a chilly day and frozen lemonade on a hot summer afternoon. They also have a nice selection of wines. One warning: its located on the second floor with stairs for access. The stairs may be an issue for some but the outside second floor balcony provides a lovely view of Mount Dora.

An amazing place. This place has phenomenal service. One of our waitresses said that they did not provided the usual service. I dont know what their standard of service is, but I thought she did a great job! When I tried to pay for my coffee, she said it was on the house! What an incredible place with an amazing staff. I will never hesitate to stop by this place when Im in town! 5 stars. P. S the chai latte this place serves is unparalleled. Try it.

Terrible! The lady (wont giver her credit for being a waitress) was rude! Treated my family and I with zero respect and did NOT cater to anything the way you would expect to get treated when paying those prices. It sucked, I recommend going anywhere, but here. If it was not for there upstairs view that overlooks the street, we would have spent our money somewhere else and been treated better. Again it sucked, it sucked, it sucked!!!! Dont do it.

Just celebrated my 50th birthday on the balcony. It couldnt have been any better. Kim (our server) was awesome and Judy (owner ) was very accomodating as well as the rest of staff. Had a clear evening with most wonderful wine, and great food. Try the cheesy onion dip and the hummus!!!! It is the best location in town - a must do!!! Ended the evening with some hot cocoa - great! HAppy Birthday to you also Judy.

Ive eaten there three times in the last 2 days. Chicken salad and bean and hummus wrap are scrumptious. Black bean soup and tomatoe bisgue are super good and the home made cinnamon rolls makes your mouth drool. And the smoked fish a new dish i hope they keep on the menu permanantly. Cant go wrong with anything on this menu. And if you like carrot cake it is one of the best. Cant say enough.

Super friendly staff, excellent coffee cake and muffins. The frozen lemonade was a hit with the kiddo. My cafe mocha tasted like it was a mix with water added - come to think of it, I never heard an espresso machine when they were making it, so may be...order coffee, skip the espresso drinks. Free wifi if you need that, nice balcony seating if the weather permits.

Service can be a bit slow, but the location and ambiance are great - enjoy live music and your favorite espresso drink while you view downtown Mount Dora from their balcony. Food is quite good for cafe fare: lobster bisque soup is tasty, but my recommendation would be one of their selection of quiche. My friends and I are frequent visitors and we will be back soon!

Very cute local coffee shop. Tried 3 other coffee shops before I found this one. The coffee here is delicious. They had live music that night which was nice. Even though I was there visiting, the coffee shop made me feel at home. I highly recommend this for anyone, plus you can sit on the balcony and watch the street.

Love, love, love this place. Spent an entire afternoon in one of the indoor rooms catching up with a friend on a rainy day. Our children were with us and it was like being home. The staff is so friendly and they make you feel welcome to stay as long as you want. That was a memorable day that will be cherished.

On our frist trip to Mt. Dora this little cafe captured our attention and I am so glad it did. It is located upstairs with a patio deck over looking the cute town. I had the " Tangy Summer Salad" and I added grilled chicken to my order, it was delicious and the perfect size. Friendly and attentive service !

Its always fun coming to ofu, they have great food and drinks. The balcony is a hotspot hang for friends and family that overlooks the whole street. And on monday nights they have open mic and everyone is welcome. One of my favorite places to visit downtown.

Food was good and prices were decent. We did ask for no straws, to reduce plastic, but the server brought them anyway. Would have expected fancier crackers with the brie plate than what seemed like regular store bought crackers (Ritz, Triscuits, etc).

Very cozy, friendly, quaint, young and artsie coffee house vibe that we found super enjoyable. The sandwich was fresh, soup yummy and hot, service amazing and thw music was fun. But it is the VIBE that makes us want to visit again! Just awesome!

Location and atmosphere were great out on the patio. Service was very relaxed and slow but friendly, which was fine because we were in no hurry. Summer salad was amazing and fresh. Tasty drinks, frozen lemonade and smoothies.

The menu and the service suggest a jumped - up coffee shop, but the location puts this place over the top. Sit on the balcony and nurse a tomato bisque soup while the sunset softens downtown streets below you.
