The food is always excellent; easily the best Indian restaurant in the Miami area. We have generally ordered via UberEATS and it has always arrived fresh and hot. This week we decided to try eating at the restaurant itself. NB we are spoiled as we moved here from the D.C. Area where there are awesome Indian restaurants, and this place wold do very well up there. Parking there is a little difficult as it is in a small hotel with limited parking, but it can be done. When you walk inside the first thing you notice is the wonderful smell of Indian spices and cuisine! The second thing is how nice and clean the place is. The menu is impressive with many excellent choices including a large variety of lamb and goat dishes to choose from. We decided to try an appetizer we had never seen before called Onion Bhajiya which was thin sliced onions dipped in a lentil flour, made into a ball then deep fried. Really good. For main courses we had the butter chicken and the Lamb Dhansak. Both were medium spicy, which is the edge of our spice limit. Very flavorful, with the heat of the spice not overwhelming the flavor of the spices. The only offnote of the evening was the waiter, who needs a little practice. He forgot our drink order and one side dish until we reminded him about a third of the way thru. The problem was it took that long to get his attention because he was busy chatting with another table. We finally had to get the bar manager to tell him to come over to us. Overall the food is so excellent that would not stop us from going there again. If you like real Indian food, spiced properly, this is your place.

let me start my review by saying this, there are very less number of authentic Indian restaurants in south Miami and this is one of the best ones i have ever come across. Please try the the Adraki lamb chops they are to die for. Apart from this the service is very good and waiters are very friendly, a tip for newbies please ask them for suggestions and they will guide you as per your taste and spice levels. Do not hesitate in trying new stuff. Please ignore some of the negative reviews, do come and enjoy some really good Indian food. An Indian guy approves this message. loll :-)

Love love love this place! I have eaten at all Indian restaurants in a 10 mile area -- Sunny Isles, Gables, Grove, Miami Beach -- and their chicken korma is the best! They also have, which I have found only at one other Indian restaurant, Keenan naan, bread stuffed with minced lamb. Sooo good. Restaurant is hard to see but is on 36th street north side of airport at East Drive. Interior left over from previous tenant could be brighter but is clean. Lunch buffet too. As a connoisseur of Indian food I highly recommend Taj Mahal.

This place is a true hidden gem. Not a fan of Indian Cuisine but came anyway and so pleased that I did. Ordered chicken shaag Paneer. Its a chicken dish made with a spinach sauce and cubes of cheese. It was delicious and not spicy as that is how I ordered it. Also had the Samosa appetizer: their version of an empanada. Again, this was delicious and fresh as well. Their staple bread, Naan, was crisp and tasty. Ambience was great as they had Indian music videos showing on the Tv and service was prompt and pleasant.

As someone who loves Indian food I am insulted that this place refers to itself as Indian Cuisine. It is the Chef Boyardee of Indian cuisine. Our mango lassis were premade. All of the sauces were ridiculously fixed, had no vegetables, and tasted like canned soup. And if you bought a Groupon dont expect them to honor it. Even after I explained to them that it was too late to get a refund for my Groupon and they would only give me Groupon books, they didnt care.

First time ordering butter chicken and lamb vindaloo!! Both excellent, basmati rice perfect. Additionally, customer service was top notch. They delivered to my hotel and came to room. Thought they forgot the rice, which they didnt but called to ensure they didnt! If Im ever back in Miami this is my spot!! Update: we ordered two days in a row

This place has amazing food. I have tried quite a few of other Indian food places in Miami and this is one of the best ones. I had their Chicken tandoori and it was simply delicious. If you like super spicy food, you will love their chilli chicken too. Highly recommended this place.

Best Indian restaurant in FL! The food and service is top class. My server and the owner even came to serve my food for me. They went the extra mile making sure I could not have a pinch more of happiness. Food was delicious and fresh! I highly recommend this place for a nice meal.

So so bad..not a clean facility, bad service and below average food. They simply dont know how to serve. When asked for a glass of water they give water in a paper cup!!! Just surprised how it received a decent rating till date. Might be voted by own ppl. Food is not cheap either.

The food was delicious. I would have liked there to be music or maybe some Bollywood music playing in the background. I chalk that up to the restaurant just opening but Im definitely going back for more!

The only reason for 4 star is because of the Dessert. It was pathetic in taste. But if you are not a big Dessert fan, then consider as 5 as the food (especially Naan) is really awesome!!
