Worst place on Lincoln Road. They will kick you out of your table immediately after you get your bill. Do not waste your time going if you are a local. They have the absolutely worst service on Lincoln Road and are focused on dealing with tourists and not return customers. The service staff are clueless, do not understand any requests, and are clearly not trained. We have now been kicked out twice immediately after eating. I think they think they are a MIchelin starred restaurant with a great reputation...but they are not, and the sole motivation for profits has clearly taken precedence over a providing a good meal and respectable treatment of customers. There are so many places to eat healthy on South Beach, dont waste your time and diminish your dignity with this place.

I love the concept of this cafe. The outdoor area is gorgeous-- very European piazza feeling. The lunch menu us great; my favorite is the curry chicken salad... it has huge chunks of mango in it. Really fantastic. They have live music in the evenings, a bar in front with every magazine you can think of to peruse. The bookstore inside has a good selection of books; not as comprehensive as barnes and noble, but this is a local bookstore where I like to imagine the owner and staff hand-select their inventory (not sure if thats true). They have author events as well that I havent been to yet, but there are some great names that come by. Definitely a gem in the Miami area.

I have eaten lunch many times at Books and Books Cafe on Lincoln Road. About two months ago I started going there for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. I took my friend whos a vegan and she had the ratatouille which she absolutely loved, we can taste in the freshness of the food it is farm to to table and organic. They also offer many vegetarian dishes which is rare on Lincoln Road. I had the skirt steak special which was absolutely wonderful. Another time I had a really great burger and she had this quinoa and kale warm salad. The service was friendly as always and the prices are a great value. Looks like I found a wonderful new dinner cafe.

This place is so great! I am a frequent customer at Doomies and so I just had to go next door to try out their stuff. Made a reservation for my friends birthday and it was the best experience we couldve asked for in terms of dining. Everyone was nice and helpful and they even put a candle in my friends dessert! Super great place will be coming back soon for sure!!

stay away from this wonderful, secret little find in the gables. seriously, this is for only those in the know. the courtyard is pleasent, the salads are huge and awesome, the coffee is good - yet overpriced. you pay a bit extra for the atmosphere in this fantastic neighborhood bookshop.

Perhaps the best option in south florida for solid nutritious food (and a fun location too)! We love all the books and books locations, but Lincoln Roads has the best food of them all. Lots and lots of options for every meal of the day, tons of vegetarian dishes too.

Tried 3 things, Philly cheese stake = horrible(only thing u can taste is nasty grease) Chicken wrap = Wrap dry and tasteless(salad that came as a side was ok) Childrens quesodilla = ok (kinda hard to screw this one up) Definitely not coming back ever. . . .

I love books & Books, but I cannot understand why they would not share their wifi password (I was eating there). Luckily, one of the nearby restaurants gave their wifi password freely. What kind of book store doesnt offer patrons wifi?

We ordered chicken Caesar salad, and tofu salad from The specials menu. Both came looking good with huge amount lettuce. But sadly both were very bland and no taste. Waiters are very friendly and but sadly not a good chef...

Great place for lunch!! Definitely on the expensive side (my salad was almost $20) but the salad was also HUGE and delicious. Their food is great and its nice to sit on Lincoln road and watch people go by. Nice and relaxing!

This place is awesome!!! I ate there twice during my visit to Miami. Rachels Bean Salad was the best salad Ive ever had. I like all the vegetarian options. I would highly recommend it.
