I should start by saying I chose this restaurant when I looked up reviews for places to eat near Ft lauderdale beach and saw this had received the highest rating (4.9/5). I went with 3 other people and we all agreed the experience was anything but exceptional. I had looked up the prices online, however upon receiving the menu I found that they had raised all the breakfast prices (with the exception of one item) to ~$9 a plate for the weekend; something the website failed to mention. I gotta say, the service wasnt great. The server was nice enough, however when ordering our food he mixed up the items multiple times as well as forgetting to mention we got a side order with our menu items. The server apologized and said that they were busy, although when we sat down there was only 2 older couples seated in the place and no other customers had come in so I dont see how busy they could have been. Aside from the mix ups during the initial order, he also returned to the table about 7 times to double check on if we had ordered something and mixed up who ordered what and ask what was in the omelets again. Really, after we had to clarify so much about what we wanted initially youd think they would have written it down correctly. The wait was pretty long considering there were no new customers and the other elderly couples there had recieved their food. We waited probably 45-60 minutes for the 4 plates of food. When the orders did finally come 3 of the 4 plates did not have any of the side items we had ordered. When asked about it the server said hed be right back with them and returned with a plate of "homefries" composed of probably 6 pieces of potato and 2 bowls of fruit that had half the fruit he described missing saying its "the best I can do". Of the 4 plates of food (2 omelets, french toast and pancakes), 3 of us mentioned how bland the food was. Personally, my pancakes were good but its hard to make bad pancakes. The waiter also returned several time to make sure everything was good, which was fine until after the 5th time he asked us. Pretty disappointing experience, especially considering what previous reviews have said. Quite a few other problems, but I think this review is long enough. Cant see myself going back, and would like to advise others keep this review in mind before considering this restaurant.

I love this place. I discovered it on google maps based on the reviews and they dont lie this is my favorite new breakfast place. I tell my friends if you had breakfast at my moms house it would be like this. None of the mugs match, none of the chairs match, theres chatskis on every wall from the 80s to now. Its quirky, kitschy, warm, the staff and the owner John are beyond sweet and all this makes for a magical experience. In restaurants where they make your food to order it takes a little extra time but of course its worth it. Highly recommended!

Went for lunch with a party of 3. Very cute place, every table is different, lots of art. The best part was the staff, they have a small team and they were very thoughtful. Made a small request from off the menu and they were able to make it happen. Atmosphere was relaxed and casual, food was delicious, will definitely go back again. Highly recommend the french toast.
