I had the meat tasting menu. The food is plenty and many different types. But after finishing the meal, I dont feel like I would order any of those dishes by itself. The flavor is very imbalanced, either too sweet or salty. And the sweetness is not like sugar sweet, but artificial sugar sweet. Cant taste the meat from the meat, or veggies from the veggies. The service is not prompt, 2 girls for both floores and the bar, making drinks. But that would be okay if the flavor was good. Ive been to plenty of places with bad service and good food and kept coming back. As an asian who tasted many Asian food, I dont recommend at all.

Horrible server... First time coming to this restaurant. The food was ok, small portions for the amount you end up paying for. After paying the $60+ bill I left an appropriate tip based on how the service was. When leaving the restaurant the server comes running out saying "Hey! you only left me a 10% tip! Here in America you are supposed to leave us 15%!" He said this in front of my date, way uncalled for and inappropriate. I gave him his $2 extra dollars. The owner is nice but those servers need to be replaced. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Excelente comida y servicio. Carta muy variada y con opciones vegetarianas. La comida MUY rica y con recetas y sabores originales de Indonesia. Pedimos una especie de tapeo para 2 (32us pp). El lugar estaba casi vacío y la música un poco fuerte.

We have been here twice now. The first time the service was desperately slow but a large quantity of cold Heineken beer made the time pass quickly. the food when it arrived was pretty good. The second visit, the service was not quite as slow but the food had gotten worse. I cant explain why but the meal seemed to lack the spiciness and originality of the first visit. Prices had also increased significantly so what was originally a reasonable place for a quick meal is now a $100 event for two.

I think the best thing about this place was that it wasnt crowded- so we got pretty quick service. Unfortunately, the drinks were okay and the food was okay. Now we did get the platter thing, so I dont know of that was the problem, but it was meh. Dont get me wrong- the food tasted good, and everything was cooked well, but it was nothing special. Also, they give you a lot of food, so maybe it just didnt taste as good after a while because I was getting so full- but its still kind of fun.

This restaurant was kind of disappointing. I selected the Nasi Rames, which seemed to include a bit of everything for a decent price, but each item only contained enough food for about a single bite. For example, it includes an egg in curry sauce which turned out to be 1/4 of a boiled egg with a teaspoon of sauce. We got everything as takeout, so Im not sure if the restaurant is any better if you eat in.

Great experience. Its a small quaint restaurant with fantastic food. I recommend getting the rijst tafel. This allows you to sample various Indonesian dishes all with unique and exciting flavors. I dont like to eat in south beach typically as most restaurants are expensive or touristy. This is by far the best restaurant by south beach.

Excellent food and even better service. Small local with about 15 tables. Dutch owners lived in Indonesia for many years and took these two cultures to create a new adventure of flavors. Portions are very filling and any meat choices come with more than expected. Rijsttafel dishes serve as appetizer and main course. Average meal $25-30.

The services were good. Food at first looked very well presented, shrimp was delicious. Everything else tastes dry. Especially the soup tasted like salt with water. All the veggie dishes were uncooked, tasted just like the salad you can get in any supermarket. 18% services fee is atomically added to the bill as well.

I never taste such delicious in my life it was different and unique ar the same time. The flavor it was out of this world. I was there eating my food and talking to myself saying I cant believe this is delicious huuuuum! I recommend this restaurant 100%. The chef has a gift he is real good. This place is a goldmine.

Absolutely spot on! Being Dutch I have a preference for the Dutch / Indonesian Rijsttafel (translation: Rice Dish) which is a combination of a whole bunch of small Indonesian dishes served all at once. And its sooo good! The variety of flavours will astound you. Really give this place a try, you wont regret it!

Great tasting, lovely meal. Service was impeccable. Especially loved the small portions in the Sumatra banquet, got to try a little bit of everything without feeling too heavy. Definitely would come here again if I could :) (Try the Lychee ice tea, its amazing!)

Love the restaurant! Was here in 2012 and had a lovely indonesian dinner. Authentic taste. The service was great, even though the place was always full, knowing we came a long way from Indonesia, the owner let us took a reservation for a big group.

We had the corn fritters (cakes?...who cares) and the lamb gulai. The corn goodness was delicious in the sense that it was deep fried corn, which is good. The lamb dish was perfectly tender, good portion (not huge, not underwhelming).

I love Indomania Restaurant. We come here about once a month. Great food, great service. And the prices are reasonable compared to other Indonesian restaurant around the area. We always get the ayam penyet and cah kangkung.

Worth the cost of the menu. Try the Rajstaffel for two. Excellent/ diverse assortment of food. Beer, pork, chicken, exquisitely sauced and sautéed , as well as the unique types of rice they serve. Absolutely mouth watering

This place is simply AWESOME. My husband and I planned to meet friends for dinner in Miami Beach, so we made a reservation and drove down from Orlando to eat there. Best place to eat down there. We will soon visit again.

Friendly, Dutch Indonesian food. "rice table" set meals are a taster plate and "Sumatra" was amazing. We ate everything put in front of us. Small, cosy atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Would go back.

Amazing selection of indo food. Service was top notch and educational. Had the rice table Sumatra and it provided a great way to experience indo food if you are new to it.
