I went by on Sunday evening, February 20, 2012 at approximately 8 PM. There were only two of us. Nove kitchen is a relatively new restaurant and we were anxious to check it out. It was a windy evening so we asked to be seated inside. Sad to say, this place is typical of so many restaurants in Miami; Very good food, lousy management. We sat at a table inside the restaurant - at least 30 minutes - before we had to get up and ask for help. I asked the host (I HOPE that wasnt the manager), a middle-aged, pudgy grey-haired man if we could have a waiter and he responded with a dismissive "Ill send someone over". That "someone" he referred to never appeared. Ten more minutes go by. If I hadnt been with a friend and having a really nice conversation, I would have left by then. Another table near us was also clearly irritated at being ignored. A female bartender came to the service station we were seated next to to get something and we asked HER if she could send someone. It took several attempts to communicate because her English was very shaky. But she sweetly promised to send someone over. Finally out waiter, Ashraf, showed up. He was very apologetic about the wait (I never did find out if it was his fault or the indifferent hosts...) and was great for the rest of the evening. We had Chicken Katsu, Chicken Dumpling appetizer and Snapper Ceviche. All very fresh and presented well. I have no gripes about the food or with Ashraf. Everything else, however, was a disaster. There was a table next to us of six VERY loud women, so I had to laugh to myself when one of the employees accidentally lost his balance and dumped a bar tray of glasses full of ice water on the loudest woman of the bunch. There were two unisex restrooms (we were seated right next to them...) and they were filthy. They reeked of urine and reminded me of a gas station bathroom because they smelled so bad. The only difference was that the lighting was so low you could barely see a thing. No wonder so many people missed the toilet. As a matter of fact, the lights were ridiculously low in the whole place. I like atmosphere as much as the next person but we couldnt even read the menus without tilting them towards the streetlights outside the window. With so many other options available, I dont see a return visit in my future. By the way, it was not a busy night in the restaurant. I cant imagine how much worse it would have been if the place had been packed.

Been coming here for years, Im here right now, for lunch, and I was just thinking about how every time I come here its the same. Consistent. Predictable. In all the right ways. Quality, service, cleanliness, friendly staff, attentive etc. Of course I know many of the staff by name, the Owner Steve is always in the house working right alongside everyone, and you can tell he takes pride in his business. I dont really write reviews but I thought since I come here all the time and its always just really good, why not give em a shout out. Hope this helps someone.

Planned a trip to Miami about a month or two ago for the purpose of visiting NoVe Kitchen and Bar. Chef Hiro and the restaurant run a YouTube channel and after following them for a while, I came down from Chicago to check it out. The food was everything I had dreamed of, perhaps better. It was obvious a lot of attention goes into even the smallest details of each plate. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning sometime - hopefully soon. If I wasnt 1000+ miles away, I would eat here nightly.

Oh my GOD. I ordered food from This place on Uber Eats. It is quite literally the worst delivery order Ive ever recieved. Tuna was NOT raw, but looked like it had been sitting out for two hours. Skirt steak was the weirdest temperature Ive ever seen. Like well done with blood? Salmon carpatio we had THROW OUT. Fires tasted days old. Have no idea why they thought this food acceptable, but i will seay people away from this restaurant until it closes.

Crazy, I have lived across the street from this place for almost a year and never went in until last night. Nove has a really good vibe. It wasnt that busy, but that is how I like it. Being a GM for a restaurant myself it is hard sometimes to just sit back and relax in a place. The servers name was Carlos. Very professional and most important friendly to me and my friend. So happy to say I have a new place to go and eat!!!

So I get the reviews about the service. It was a little on the slow and unattentive side, a LITTLE. BUT the food MORE than made up for it. This is the best sushi Ive ever had. I was so surprised. I was expecting the same "pretty good" sushi I get in other suchi places in south florida but this place is next level. And their cooked stuff is good too, the sea bass with miso reduction is AWESOME.

Nove kitchen is one restaurant thats getting added to the books. The athesphere is excellent the dress clothes is casual. The food is fresh and delicious especially the yellow tale speical ( you should try) the staff is very friendly and very respectful. And all for a reasonable prices <3 and they have there own parking so dont have to stagger too far lol

This is my favorite restaurant period. First and foremost, the food is awesome. Best sushi Ive ever had and the skirt steak is really good as well. The setting outside with the game/fight projected on the wall is really cool too. Service could be a little better but other than that, its phenomenal. Been there at least a dozen times, never a bad meal.

Food was amazing. Service absolutely sucked. Party of 6 and we were ignored all night. Had to constantly yell for our server. Took forever to get a drink order in and over an hour just to place a food order. We wont even go into how long it took to get our check. Yes, it was a busy night but the place isnt that big and there was plenty of staff.

This place is one of the best sushi restaurants in the area :) I am giving this review after my 3rd visit to this restaurant. Every appetizer/meal I had was full of flavor ... I highly recommend this place. You have to try their thai ceviche, tuna / beef tataki, tuna tartar, and any of their rolls :) You wont be disappointed :)

Been a huge fan of chef Hiro Tarada on YouTube for a while now. Finally got my chance to eat here (which is tough as I live in Scotland). Service is questionable, however, I dont care..... The sushi is incredible. Plus, the sashimi is the freshest I have ever tasted. Sorry I missed you Hiro but it was a pleasure eating here.
