I really truly wanted to like this place. I have felt the void in cutler bay and have missed all the yummy authentic latin restaurants I enjoyed when living near little havana. I was nit only disappointed at the horrible service, but I am literally sick with stomach issues right now not even 10 minutes after leaving Latin Mix. My daughters and I entered and waited 7 minutes at a table without so much as a greeting until I I got up and found us menus and another 10 minutes before someone actually acknowledged us. 17 minutes! So we ordered mari quitas with mojo to start. We received cold plantain chips that were obviously old nit freshly fried, they either fry in bulk in the morning and serve these all day or opened a bag and poured them on a plate and the MOJO was a cold plastic tub of water vinegar bijol and garlic powder. I cannot understand as a cuban how ANY latin (with all the pride we have in our cuisine) would attempt to pawn that off as mariquitas y mojo Especially when the real deal is so easy and inexpensive to make. My main meal of fish was actually undercooked and my first bute was still raw. I sent it back but by then it was too late. The little I ate gave me immediate stomach cramping. The black beans were bland, just beans and water- also seem to be can or just some generic bean recipe. The maduros were the frozen ones you buy, which wluld be fine but not even a quick fry tk toast them. They were soggy as if they were just popped in a microwave. None of the homemade taste and flavor so many latin cafeterias are known for. This was the waffle house of Latin food. I was so grossed out and disappointed but mostly angry that this place has Latin in the name. If it is one thing we do well it is food. Avoid this place if you value your hard earned money and health.

Fui por primera vez a cenar y nunca habia tenido tan mala experiencia. La mesera estaba completamente perdida. Cuando nos fue a tomar la orden, no tenia la libreta para anotar y se excusó para ir a buscarla. Pedí un aperitivo que nunca llegó y el plato principal se tardó aproximadamente 30 min (fetuccini alfredo con pollo). No tenían la cerveza que ordené y por si fuera poco la crema alfredo quedó salada. Nunca había hecho un review de un restaurante pero tampoco nunca había tenido tan mala experiencia.

Ridiculously garbage, I ordered a ribeye steak with no color whatsoever not even salt and pepper, the plate presentation was garbage it was a slice of tomato with less than half ounce of chopped up lettuce underneath. instead of a chimichurri they threw raw parsley on top of my steak so it tasted like grass. my wife had the breaded chicken breast with mashed potatoes and plantains. the chicken was okay except for the raw onions that were just thrown on top, couldve been sauteed. the mash was okay the plantains were store bought and reheated. for dessert I had the flan which ended up being store bought with a ridiculous plate presentation of syrup all over the edges of the plate and the bunelos were OK besides the damn sugar water that comes with it! Its supposed to be a glaze but the amateur chef hasnt the slightest idea what that is obviously. Waitress was nice

Lo mas horrible de mi vida fue en este restaurante desde q entre la hoster no para de mirarme desde q entre me senti acosada mas nunca vuelvo no me senti a gusto los trabajadores con tremenda mala cara y obio q esta vez me levnante y cancele mi orden porq sou muy sencilla y no soy de dar complain pero la verdad q mas nunca vuelvo. Yo fui mesera por mas de 5 anos y creeme q ellas ahi nesecitan ir ala escuela

Not too thrilled with this place. Its under new management and the portions are a LOT smaller and the prices are more expensive. I used to come here and I would have so much food left over that we had to take it home. The food was good, dont get me wrong, but with all the Latin American places in the area it really isnt worth it. 2 of us ate here (1 of us got shrimp, the other chicken) with a beer and it came out to $50. Also, if they sit you in their new back room, just wait until a booth is available in the main section. They can and will forget about you, even with the little remote to call a waitress that they leave at the table. It sucks to say, but the renovations and upgrades have definitely destroyed this gem. I wish it could go back to how it used to be.

My son is sick with a flu, so living close by this restaurant went to get him a soup, well, worse service ever, I was at the window and the employees walking by talking and laughing which lets say its ok, but then the chef/manager I presumed he was smoking all over the place with those e-cigarettes and the server/cashier eating on the counter, it took more than 30minutes to get my soup!!! Horrible service! Had to come back to returned the soup, it was boil water with 3 pieces of meat! Then the manager/chef took the container and went to the back and all he did was to make a sofrito of onions and green onions and poured over the boil water they gave me before! So disappointed of this place!!! Never again!!

El mejor de Miami, , excelente arroz congri, pescados, carnes y pollos, los sandwiches increibles, y a precios bien economicos . bien limpio, gratis wi fi El cafe Cubano bien rico. Excelente atencion. proximamente con sala de eventos.

I have been here several times for breakfast and its ok but I went for dinner and the Masitas de puerco were under cooked and cold. I also ordered Mariquitas and they were soggy. The waitress asked me if the food was good and I told her the problem. I ate the rice and beans and showed her the meat and she said next time dont eat anything so I can change it. Rightttt, if I wait around for the service the rice and beans would of gotten cold too. Bad place. Wont go there again.

While Im sitting at the bar eating my breakfast a man by the name of Alfredo comes out of the kitchen and starts SMOKING one of those vapor things filling the area with smoke. Turns out hes a cook and he does it too in the kitchen. When i confronted him with the matter he blew me off telling me he can do whatever he wants. Disgusting!!! Who wants to eat at a restaurant where they are smoking on your food???

Buen lugar, buena comida, en proceso de crecimiento y agregando nueva tecnología al lugar, la comida y los precios son muy buenos. El parqueo es un poco incómodo pero eso no depende de ellos.

Great food and quality is always high! the service is friendly and most important they listen to their customers. One example is I ordered on a Friday my favorite dish cod fish bacalao and it had very little cod I showed her and without a do she returned it to the kitchen and corrected my order. Very pleased patroon and will continue to go there as often as possible.
