I visited Kona Grill for the first time during my trip to Las Vegas. It was truly a pleasurable experience. We enjoyed a great dinner with what most likely was the best service we received during our visit to Las Vegas. I was absolutely psyched when I drove by Dolphin mall and found to my surprise that Kona Grill had followed me home. I decided to show my girlfriend the experience that I had and I couldnt have made a better choice. We were greeted with a great smile and our waiter was absolutely fantastic! I cant remember his name but he had long hair and a pony tail, white/gray hair. Anyways, The food was amazing, the service was exemplary. Truly seem to be on their way to an awesome launch! Their burgers and sushi rolls are fantastic! Drive by dolphin mall and stop by Kona Grill, you will not regret it! (Update) Today I went back with my family. Had an amazing time as always. There was a tiny detail with my plate that I asked to be corrected, the manager Phil came to our table and apologized. Incredible service. Thank you again Kona team for another wonderful experience.

Went there tonight for the first time and was very DISAPPOINTED , being someone who has worked in the industry our waiter had very little to no experience.. Our appetizers came out wrong, as well as our drinks; To top it off it took them 15 min. To even try and replace the drinks. In the meantime, Our waiter passed the table several times and didnt even aknowledge that we still had no utensils and that our order was wrong. The manager didnt apologize for the inconvenience and didnt seem too bothered.. The only good thing that can be said is that the incorrect order did come out fast, the kitchens staff deserves better managers and waiters to correct mistakes in a more timely manner so that there time isnt wasted like ours was.. We didnt stay to receive the replacements, tbh it took long enough to get the check. Wouldnt recommend this resteraunt to anyone..

This was the first time that I visited a restaurant that received such high reviews and left feeling disappointed. The food was hit or miss. The positives included the Avocado Eggrolls and the Brownie dessert which was excellent and perfect for sharing. I also really enjoyed the Picasso Roll. As for the rest of the visit, the Chicken Chili was bland (even though the jalapeño muffins made up for it) and the white rice wasnt seasoned. The Churrasco was opaque looking and overcooked but somehow it was still tender. And lastly, our server got lost after the appetizer came out and we were left with empty drinks for about 10 minutes. All in all, the "experience" was not that impressive, especially after spending over $100. With all the many eating options at Dolphin Mall, unfortunately I cant say that I will be quick to recommend Kona.

Worst place I have eaten. Ordered Sushi rolls (which are supposed to come with separate ingredients wrapped in seaweed and rice to please different parts of the pallet), they came all mashed up in this paste that tasted like blan rice wrapped in rice. We also ordered volcano rolls, they came hot and mushy!!! It was so gross!!! Then we ordered mixed drinks (very expensive may I add), not only did my friends (and mine) Pina Colada taste like dirty water, but it had chunks of rotten milk or (something bad) in and and they did not remove it from the bill. I honestly will say It was awful and none of us will ever eat there again. It got tweeted and Instagram at every step during dinner. I still feel sick and its the next day.

Food was ok. When you dont put salt and pepper on the table, it is because the chef season the food (not this case).when you order a bacon burger you expect the burger with bacon. Did not happened. I told the server not to worry about it bringing now, since i was done with the burger, but he brought the bacon later saying that it was already charge... I dont need the bacon when i already finish my burger. No manager trainning program, there is no step of service so you ask the customer if everything is ok. i dnt blame the server. is the lack of management. Need a floor manager urgently.

Went to this restaurant on Friday noon The hostess sat me in a table with a dirty top, i mean, was cleaned with a filthy drop with grease and a sticky substance. When the i asked the waiter Who cleaned the table? He didnt respond and and when ahead with a second round of a sloppy cleaning session that finished not much better that it was. The waiter didnt refresh the silverware, neither offered to refill the glass of water The place is beautiful, and the food is great, the sea bass was amazing The management needs to improve with their employees, and their customer care.

Was a little skeptical from a couple of the reviews but Im very glad we went there anyways. The food was absolutely spectacular. I ordered the mauna kea burger which was unbelievable and my wife ordered a dragon roll. I got to say the burger was great but the dragon roll was one of the best Ive ever had (from the couple pieces I stole from her). Ambiance was hip and modern and very pretty to look at and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Oh and the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food being served.

Turned out really a very relaxing and delicious experience. The ambiance and layout of the restaurant is very inviting and will automatically put you in the mood to wind down. You can sit at the bar, the sushi bar, or a normal table. Impressive variety of plates and sushi choices. Definitely leave room for the Snickers ice cream pie - you wont regret it. Staff is okay, they were attentive and polite. Definitely beat the wait and make a reservation prior to your visit.

Prices were great. I ordered a few sushi rolls and calamari which were okay, but plain. The service could definitely be improved on. I got there at 8PM, the restaurant was not busy but the waiter took 10 minutes to come to the table and introduce himself. It wasnt until 8:30PM that we received our drinks. It took the waiter a while to come and take our order; at 8:52 PM we received our food. Great ambiance to sit and have a drink but the food was not that great.

We order two rolls to go. Been here for over 45" with lames excuses about the system been down my order take longer than ever. The attitude of the manager it wasnt pleasant at all she dont even say sorry at all and after that she throw the bag to me like very rude. I told her why so rude ? She just turn around wave her hair to me and say something that I hope I heard what was it... very rude Management time was 1pm on the 8-29-17 in case this goes to corporate !

I went for dinner with my family and everything was going great, but apparently there was a system error and my order didnt go through. My whole family finish eating and I still hadnt gotten my food. When I finally got it the really turned everything into a nice experience. Server Arthur and Manager Bill were very kind and sincerely apologetic. Im extremely thankful for everything. I recommend this restaurant, food is delicious and service was great!
