I visited this location this morning to get breakfast for myself & co-workers. I did not notice the time when I opened the door & walked inside. I was welcomed with "were not open yet". I asked what time it was & was told it was 6:22am (they didnt open until 6:30). I asked if I was going to honestly be made to wait for 8 minutes to be helped & the girl was told by a co-worker to go ask the manager because sometimes they can help people before open & other times not. She asked the manager (Rachel) and was told she could not help me. Finally, it was 6:30 & I was helped (I asked at 6:28 if it was time yet & was told no, it wasnt 6:30). I legitimately sat at the high top table near the pastry counter & waited until 6:30. Before I left I asked the manager for her name (she refused to offer her last name & I assume shes the only manager named Rachel). She assured me that it is Paneras "policy" not to help patrons before the actual hours of operation. If that is the case, the front door should not have been unlocked. I dont believe this is how the corporation in general treats their patrons. I know this isnt a corporate location, however, Paneras name is on the sign. Someone needs to address customer service with Rachel the manager. Im sure theres training that could be offered to her because she does not have enough experience. As a side note, I couldve been offered a cup to get my coffee ready while I waited but was not even offered that. The time stamps on the coffee receptacles was 6:30 which is not correct because they were there already when I was told I could not be helped at 6:22am. Someone please train Rachel so this doesnt happen again because of 8 minutes and the door being unlocked.

I love going to Panera, and I have frequented the chain in many locations. However, I was extremely disappointed with my visit at this location. First, the cashiers were very unfriendly and unengaged. Second, they were out of all of the coffee. When I told them that the coffee was out, it took them over 40 minutes to put fresh coffee out! They didnt put it out until I reminded them. Third, there are very few outlets in the restaurant. They mainly have outlets at the bar in the front, which is an extremely hot area when the sun is setting. The other outlet is by the back exit, which is also baking in the sun. It is a tiny table up right against the door. The only other outlet is in the back, and only one table has access to it. Finally, the place is DIRTY! All of the tables were disgusting and not cleaned. I waited to see if any of the tables would be cleaned, but they werent. The guests had to clean the tables themselves. I will never come back to this particular location again!

We are lucky enough to be withing biking distance, so we have started to make this part of a routine for an occasional weekend breakfast. Staff is always friendly, the food is cooked well, and the coffee is hot. If you have been to one Panera, they are pretty much the same. ****updated 8-15-16**** Soda and tea area by the back door has an awful mold/mildew smell. The picture that I posted is only missing the dirty napkin that was on the plate. Really....that is how this meal looked. We walked out back, and couldnt find a single seat that didnt have bird feces on it. Probably at least 20 chairs out there, and couldnt find one clean chair Also, the person preparing the meal needs to realize that the customers pay her salary, so she should be more pleasant. Used to like the place, but this experience was not good

Hate writing poor reviews, but what a disappointment to say the least! Definitely does not compare to other Paneras that weve patronized in the past. The cashier was entirely unhelpful and unfriendly, and could not answer the simplest of questions with regard to the menu items. Our take out order was incorrect, and we ended up just tossing it, as the food that we did receive, was off-tasting I did call and speak with a Manager, who stated that I could bring my receipt back for a refund, but it doesnt help us when we were relying on this establishment for our dinner meal. Employees need to be better trained and the Manager(s), need to be supervising orders for quality and accuracy. To add insult to injury, this store could use a good scrubbing, as it did not appear to be very clean, and smelled of mildew.

I ordered Panera catering online and entered the wrong date for my delivery. I realized this one hour before my luncheon was expected to begin. I called Panera catering and they put me in contact with the local Panera that would be creating my meal. I spoke with Rachel at Melbourne Town Center Ave location and she quickly contacted the catering manager for her location, who happened to be out delivering meals. Rachel called me back within minutes and said they could prepare my lunch and have it delivered. The catering manager, whose name is also Rachel, delivered my meal for 25 people and it was delicious! Everything was perfect!! I cant thank you enough for saving me!

This panera bread is horrible. Everytime I come in here they get my order wrong, forget something or mess up on it somehow and Im always finding myself having to go back in there for them to correct it. My salads, soups had hardly anything in them always have half the quantity its supposed to be....The workers there are rude teenagers, and the management doesnt give a crap if you complain. This place has went so downhill, it is not worth it for the price you pay. The panera on Wickham in Melbourne is 10x better then this one and Im willing to drive further so i dont have to go to this panera bread location in Viera.

What started out as a beautiful English styled cafe ended as a drab, dirty and run down establishment to be avoided. The prices have gone up while the quality took a nose dive. Flies on the pastries, garbage on the floor, musty smell and the list goes on. Until the management is replaced I will not be returning. Update 05/29/16: Went back a week ago. Just as filthy as before. Workers messed up my order and the place wreaks of mildew. There were also still flies on the pastries which makes me wonder just how long they have been sitting in the open.

I went there to pick up boxed lunches for a Lunch & Learn I was hosting for about 20 today. They had just delivered about 150, so they had no more boxes, and a limited staff, but they threw together my order in bags, got everything right, and did it quickly and politely. Very efficient crew. Id recommend this eatery for a quick lunch anytime. They worked well together, and got my order out quick & correctly even with their skeleton crew. Kudos to the management team for good training, and dedicated staff!

Just walked into this Panera to purchase a chocolate chip cookie and was told they had run out, which is fine because I went there pretty close to when they closed. What really put me off was the overwhelming smell of mold/mildew. I know the quality of their food has gone down and the prices have increased, but Im officially turned off. Perhaps them running out of the item I wanted was a blessing in disguise.
