My sons and I shopped at your store yesterday, May 11, 2015. We went for crab legs to celebrate a late mothers day. When we asked the seafood clerk for 6 lbs of them, he said "well, theyre frozen". And we told him " wed like to get them steamed anyway". He went to the back and brought out the crab legs to put in the steamer and then removed them and sprinkled on the old bay. He said "I can only put the old bay on the outside" Okay? When he gave the bag to my son he said, "these are cold". The clerk said " Well, some are hot and some are cold, I dont want to overcook them besides theyre cooked anyway". Do you think he knows anything about what hes doing? Ive gotten crab legs many times and they were always done right. Turned out, I had to cook them anyway. His attitude appeared that we were asking for something that was unreasonable. There was another customer who asked if there were anymore crab legs and when ours came out she said "Cold crab legs? I never eat cold crab legs." Good luck for her. Also, my sons both used your mens room while we were there and came out saying how filthy it was. I said "At Publix?" and that we should let someone know but they didnt want to as we were leaving. I hope this helps because usually your employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. But Ill go to the Indian Rocks store for seafood because I buy a lot of it and I wonder what else the clerk doesnt know about dealing with seafood.

Shopped here 3 times since the grand reopening. Tried to get fresh cut deli meats. First time, there were too many people waiting. Second time, too many people waiting. Third time I decided to wait. 20 minutes later with 1 person slicing and 5 other Publix employees behind the counter doing other things besides servicing the customers, I left. Drove to the Oakhurst Publix and was greeted with a smile and done in 5 minutes. Since We have 3 Publix near by. This store will be the last one I consider. Shopping was not a Pleasure at this store.

To me, I didnt see much newness or uniqueness here. Yes the light fixtures and floor was shiny and clean, and there were so many employees working you about trip over one everywhere you go in the store. The shelves were definitely stocked full.. But I expected something more. To add to the let down, was as Boars head hotdog stand out front selling hot dogs for a dollar. To me, a store grand opening should have free hot dogs, not ones for sale.

Regular shopper, not the nicest Publix but not bad my any means (minus todays experience). Today I stopped by the Deli for a sub. Something had turned rancid near the deli and was putting off a pretty heavy funk. I mentioned it to the person behind the counter and they just stared at me, not a single verbal response, only a look like "why are you telling me?". Yuck.

This store has a very friendly and helpful staff. The store is always clean, and I buy a specific kind of seaweed that only Publix keeps in stock and they always have it when I come. Im very happy with my experiences coming here and I will definitely be coming back regularly.

Im a Publix guy, so take my grade in the context of a total hardass. I wasnt given 10 and 10 by several associates I passed. Otherwise this store is new and shiny. I had delicious samples from aprons and there was a lot of associate availability in the store.
