Ive heard very good things about this deli from my neighbors. I finally went and checked it out - small but well-stocked store/deli. Everything was great until I ordered a sandwich and observed a few things that greatly concern me. The gentleman working there was on the phone, finished his call, rang up the person in line before me, then proceeded to make my sandwich. He did not wear gloves or wash his hands after ringing up the other customer. He prepared my food with his bare hands. There were raw veggies in a tray/bowl sitting on the prep table, uncovered and unrefrigerated. There was a full box of prep gloves sitting on the counter that went untouched. This is inexcusable to me - food safety should be a priority for anyone preparing food. I would love to give this place another try but I cannot take a risk with my health. After seeing such disregard for something so simple as handwashing/gloves, I cant help but wonder where else they are falling short.

Been coming to Pauly now for 7 years for Italian products and his moms cooking. Oh and the sammichs are $0.50 less than SUBWAY ! all real italian cured meats n cheeses. Just get there before he runs out of bread. The prices are amazing, the catering is so inexpensive n good, I was shocked. He now caters a food tray at my work every week, for pick up. $25 n I feed a dozen people antipasti.

Whod have thought that Id find a legit, authentic and delicious real Italian Deli in Largo Florida? Well, I have and its Ippolito! From the enormous selection of Cento goods to the daily homemade mozzarella, sausage&peppers, chicken parmesan and cannoli, its a treat. Easy and REAL Italian food right down the road. I love you Ippy!!!!

Let me tell you about Paul and his Deli. This man knows Good quality. Very nice intelligent man who loves what he does. Makes everything fresh every day himself. You cannot get this quality for the price anywhere else in Central Florida. If you are in the area go to this Deli!!!!!!!!!!

Went here after "a friend of ours" remarked about the few places in Florida he would go to get ingredients or a good solid old school Italian sub. He was not lying. Best sub Ive had in 25 years. Brought back some good memories, I will be returning soon and often.

Not able to review food. Great market for Italian staples and deli meats. We went to have lunch but the place has only one four top and it was occupied. Obviously these great reviews are from regulars who take out. Wish this had been noted in other reviews.
