Ive always liked the Greek salad and usually only get that. I decide to order a Greek salad for 4 with gyro lamb slices for 3 and a sub. When I got home and we opened the box with meat we had received what looked and tasted like corned beef or a chopped beef brisket. When I had looked up reviews it had showed pictures of sliced traditional gyro meat and the menu said sliced meat. I called Greek village to let them know we had received beef instead of lamb. The girl who answered told me that is lamb and that they do not serve beef so it couldnt be beef. Not ordering meat from them before I didnt have a menu in front of me and said okay but assured her Ive never had lamb that looked or tasted like that before. After hanging up I knew there was no way that they had given me lamb so I looked up their menu and sure enough corned beef and various other beef options are on their menu. I called back and asked how the lamb gyro meat comes and the same girl told me they have a pressed BEEF and lamb meat and they have just the roasted lamb that is sliced. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on hold for ten minutes. When she returned to the phone it was the same girl and she said a manager isnt in. I asked her why she put me on hold to tell me she didnt have a manager working and she told me they had a party of 16 that the manager was helping with and is not available. Annoyed at the loop of lies I told her okay and that I would call back. Im not usually one to write negative reviews but if a manager is too busy to listen to their customers they will never know the level of customer service their staff is representing for them both good and bad and they will never be able to improve such service. Very disappointed with how the situation was handled and very disappointed in the meat we received.

Hands down this restaurant makes the best stuffed grape leaves Ive ever had. I am very finicky when it comes to Greek food I love to go to Astoria Queens and try different places. I met the owner Cristo and he recommended the restaurant and was blown away by the food Motif and service. Their prices were very inexpensive the quality of the food was first-rate and our waitress Effie gave us great service... is located so close to the Seminole City Center. Greek Village its the wise choice rather than choosing one of those chain restaurants with portion control and preservatives.... I felt like I was sitting in a small Greek Village on the Mediterranean pure euphoria....

This place has some incredible food. I usually dont write reviews but I feel like this is worth sharing. I travel 90% for work all over the nation and this is at the top of my list for places I would like to go back to. The roast lamb is amazing and the salad is perfect. The service is quick and Im not sure why people have said that it is not worth the price because it is relatively inexpensive and well worth the price. If you have the chance, go to Greek Village!! All around a great restaurant and some seriously authentic greek food.

The first time we only ordered appetizers for takeout, and loved it. But we went back for sit down with friends and it was not good. My wifes pasta was awful. She didnt finish it and the waitress was kind enough to not charge us. The "specialty lamb" was uneventful and forgettable. We are still looking for the best Mediterranean restaurant int the area. Surprisingly difficult to find in St. Pete area.

I cant believe the price and the poor quality of food they offer its absurd. I agree with anonymous and Moebius comment. Plus I have seen the kitchen and the crew and I was disappointed by the lake of cleanliness and unwashed vegetables for the famous Greek Salad! and more than you can imagine is happening in the back of the house. I will never go back again.

The only place I know where I can get an "Eggplant on Pita" sandwich...and it is wonderful. We just returned from Greece, and rushed to Greek Village because we still prefer their Moussaka, Chicken on Pita, and Greek Salad dressing to anything we ordered overseas. Wonderful Greek hospitality as well from Vicki and the rest of the family.

In florida for vacation and was wanting a vreaj from seafood. Greek village had a nice atmosphere, great friendly service, and the food was excellent. Nothing fancy, but the flavors were great and the price was very reasonable. Had a gyro and cheese pie with tiramisu for dessert (leave room for dessert - lots of delicious choices!)

My family and I have gone to the Greek Village for over 15 years. I no longer live in the state, but when visiting I bring my husband and kids. The food is always delicious!! The sevice is always quick, but they dont rush you out the door. The manager, Vicky, is amazing! I highly recommend.

Meh. Second worst gyro I have ever had and it was $9.00. Staff was lifeless and unfriendly. I get the feeling that this place was great once, but not anymore. A customer was leaving the store and said "That was disgusting." Thats never a good sign!

Have eaten gyros and salads from here for years today my gyro to was horrible handful of onions and they never peeled the onions . Very small amount of meat . I wont be spending my 10$ ever again on a McDouble quality gyro !

The food is excellent and the entertainment (belly dancer) was a wonderful touch. I would recommend it to anyone that loves Greek food. The staff is awesome and greets everyone with a big smile when you walk into the door.

Did not like it the first time we ate here . Thought it was me. Went back a few nights ago and the staff acted as if they didnt want to be bothered, service was average at best, and the food was lousy! Will not go back...

My family has eaten at this restaurant for years, and we love it. Best Greek food in the Seminole/Largo area, by far. Excellent gyros, falafel, tzaziki, and a laid-back atmosphere keep us coming back again and again.

The lamb is absolutely delicious. Service was quick and friendly and they didnt rush you. I had the lamb pita with small Greek salad. They make their own Greek dressing so its a little different but very tasty.

Since we live in Seminole, it was great having a restaurant with great food close by. Unfortunately, as time passed, the prices went up and the portions got smaller. We go to Zekos on 49th & 54th now.
