I used to go here years ago and it was enjoyable. Tonight however our experience was awful. We arrived over an hour before closing and many items in the sushi line and the buffet were out. We asked for sweet tea and they said the were out for the night. I think when youre charging $16.99 a person, you can brew more, esp when several tables are asking for tea. The food quality has declined majorly since dining here last. The only benefit of this place would be the ayce crablegs. You pay for them whether you eat them or not. Only one person in our party tried the crab, which he said werent very good and didnt get more. Japanese steakhouse would be a much better option at the same price. I would not be surprised if this place closes. Its terrible and terribly expensive for what you get.

For a buffet and for the price, its pretty good. Nearly every other japanese buffet Ive been to, they charge extra for crab legs. Adding up to about $16-20. They dont here. Its only $13 per person. Crab legs are delicious, the sushi is decent for a buffet. But a pretty good selection, compared to others that have a total of 5 rolls to pick from. The rest of the food is alright. However the chef that cooks the food for you at the grill, the food comes out a bit dry a lot and bland. A really nice selection of ice cream as well, not just your chocolate, vanilla and swirl. Moose tracks, superman, turtle nut, strawberry, just to name a few besides the generic. $13, you cant beat that price.

The food quality is horrible. I suppose thats what you can expect from a buffet where people would prefer quantity over quality. If quality is what youre looking for, this is not the restaurant for you. The tables are dirty, the restrooms are nearly unusable. I even saw some flying insects in the dining area. I looked up food inspections for this restaurant and was horrified to find out theyve been shut down for roach issues. I went to this restaurant a few months ago. I hope theyve cleaned it up since then. At least the restaurant does offer a lot of choices for a buffet. There are plenty of low quality food to choose from.

I dont dine out much, and being new to the area I decided to to try the food at Osaka. As I entered the restaurant I was surprised to be greeted by a series of coin operated gum ball machines in the foyer. Although quite colorful, the machines and their assorted, possibly dated, contents made me rethink my decision to enter. And like those colorful gum balls, Osakas buffet is visually appealing. However, after putting my "coin" in the slot and sampling the contents I was not impressed with the quality. I should have tried the jumbo bubble gum in the foyer and turned around and walked out.

The positive reviews HAVE to have been written by the owner. Osaka is a case of food poisoning waiting to happen. Food was tasteless and most all had been clearly sitting a long long time. The hibachi has very few things to choose from and they "chef" drowns the food in the house sauce that tastes of nothing but soy. They do have crabs legs and crawdads, but they too were poorly executed. Many of the bowls and played had dried on food items as did one glass that came to our table If someone gave me a free coupon to eat here, I will give the coupon to someone else

This is absolutely the worst buffets I have ever been to. First, we got there at 7 and the food was not fresh at all. I should of know when everyone was eating crab legs, lol. Second, there was not a great variety of options. Fish over cooked, not seasoned and just bad. The icing on the cake was when my husband wanted to tell them I stopped him because Chinese buffets are pretty cheap for our family until we got a check for 68.00! I left hungry and pissed so I couldnt leave a tip. Golden Corral would of been better and I HATE that place. Dont waste your money here.

Definitely not worth the money, unless youre coming here strictly for the all you can eat bland crab legs.. had to ask for them to refill the white rice, the hibachi Grill had no meats up there the whole time we ate, not many choices of sauces, had to specifically asked for what you wanted, and language barrier makes it hard.. they got our 3 drink order wrong, were "fresh out" of Dr pepper.. Definitely should go somewhere else if you want quality service.

If I am wanting a lunch buffet, I will go to Wasabis. They have most of the same stuff as the lunch buffet, but its twice as expensive. Osaka has a pretty dismal lunch, but their dinner has much better sushi and crab legs. But their non sushi food is much more like a classic chinese buffet where as Wasabi has a nice tempura bar and other more japanese style foods. I like them both for different reasons but I tend to enjoy Wasabis a bit more.

It was horrible me and my family went last night at like 7pm they close at 10pm they did not want to put fresh food out I asked for fresh chicken they told me it was fresh when it was the same chicken when I walked in an hour ago ....if you are a buffet u should have fresh food the whole night and if not u should tell people before they seat down because last night was a waste of money $50 for two abults and drinks never again......

Its ok. The sushi is unappetizing, cant eat it. The Chinese dishes are ok, tasty enough. The non-Chinese dishes look disgusting, no idea how people eat that. There are seldom vegetarian dishes. Its just ok. But good price, mellow atmosphere. And Ive never noticed any crab legs in all my visits. I return becausemail it rates higher than other local Chinese buffetS in the area and Im afraid to try them.

Good food but nothing to write about. I had an eggroll that was pretty bad but i had another later that was fine so i let that slide although the crab i had was overcooked and the miso soup was bland. Could definetly use remodeling because alot of the chairs are ripped and cloth stained although the price is good and its not actually bad. Just dont expect exelency and you should be just fine.

Have been there many times and the food is always delicious. The staff is on top of making sure your glass is full and your dirty dishes are removed quickly. They stay on top of the food making sure everything is fresh. The quality of food is excellent. They could use a makeover but that is normal for any buffet restaurant that is open everyday however they do keep it clean.
