The Sushi itself was good. But each time I went there each experience was worse and worse. I stopped actually going in there to eat when the last 3 times I was waited on by a child. Today will be my last time calling in an order. When I returned to work after picking up my order I looked at it (Granted, I should have looked at it before I left there) and realized they gave me the wrong order. When I called, planning on bringing it up there to exchange it for the right order, they decided to argue with me saying I didnt get the wrong one, it was perfectly correct and I was the one in the wrong. When I said they were their response was "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" with an attitude, not a helpful manner, more condescending. That was the time I decided to hang up, given the incompetence, and just never return to that establishment. If youre looking for good sushi, they are good. If youre looking for a good atmosphere where youre waited on by adults, or any kind of customer service when they mess up (Which is often considering when I called to place the order off their online menu, I had to be transferred to someone that knew that menu stating "We have several different menus, I dont know what youre talking about") go somewhere else. Seriously. There are other places that remember that you, the customer, is the one paying their bills.

I dont write reviews often but I had to after my experience. I wouldve liked to give a higher rating because I like the concept of the menu and the food wasnt bad (minus one roll where the tempura shrimp still felt frozen....) our waitress was appropriately attentive but when it came time to pay, she didnt tell us after bringing the checks that we go up front to pay when were ready. Once again though, its not the best service but it wasnt poor either. The one star comes from this though: towards the end of the evening when I got home my stomach started to hurt. I went to bed trying to sleep it off but woke up at 5AM and spent an hour sick to stomach and vomiting every piece of food I had eaten that night. The reason this surprises me is that I have a strong stomach. The last time I was sick like this due to bad food was 15 years ago as a kid. My fiancé also woke up sick to his stomach later that morning. I worry about the Health Grade of this location. I know theyve been on the news in the past for health code violations but after a few years I was hoping it was all resolved. I just dont think thats the case. I will not be going back there.

*Edit* Updated and lowered my rating because I keep giving these guys chances and they always find a way to top themselves with their horrible customer service. If it is less than 90 minutes before close, be prepared for some SERIOUS attitude alongside with your meal or to go order. They will remind you that they are closing at 9:30 in a very harsh way and pretty much sweep you out the door. I have also had some of the same experiences that other people have reported such as condiments taken off the table mid meal, and being treated EXTREMELY rudely for ordering the wrong food. I made an honest mistake on ordering a meat dish (I dont eat red meat) and the server made a big deal about showing me I was wrong AND they charged me $3 extra dollars for taking the unwanted food home when I had already paid the buffet price. I do not complain about customer service often because I know working in customer service is miserable, but theres no excuse for how Fuji Sushi staff interacts with guests. I dont expect them to treat customers like royalty, but I will certainly not be spending my money to get treated like crap over some mediocre cheap food.

My favorite place to get sushi. As far as Asian restaurants go, one of the best wait staffs. Keep in mind they dont all speak English very well so be understanding of that. The wait is always long, so if youre on a time crunch, you need to get there at 11am when they open. Theyre closed on Sundays. The sushi quality is always good. For lunch the menu is limited but still plenty of choices, and the all you can eat aspect is a good way to try a little bit of everything because the rolls are small for lunch, usually 4-5 pieces. AND you get to try all the non sushi items they offer. Spicy crabmeat salad is my favorite. As for orientals/asians getting seated first, the bad reviewers need to get their racist sh it together. Ive never been seated before anyone that was there before me so fu ck off. Theres literally a list to write your name on to wait for a table that they go by. Theyre such nice people. Theyll occasionally forget or misplace a roll, it isnt the end of the world, theyre more than happy to fix it for you if you ask them. And that has only happened to me twice in the dozens of times Ive gone here.

I have been eating here for over a year. The price:quality ratio is good, but their service is rapidly declining. As someone with almost 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, I can tell these employees genuinely do not care about their guests. They have delivered the wrong food to my table on multiple visits. I have mentioned it to them but they said "oh you can order another one" when the food I ordered was delivered to the table next to me. As a former restaurant employee, I am generally forgiving to mistakes but that shows that they just dont care at all about your dining experience. If you eat a ton of food and dont mind waiting for an order that may or may not be correct, its a good place. If you are expecting an enjoyable or "above average" dining experience, go somewhere else. *UPDATE* It seems that the management has been reading the reviews and taking them to heart. Service has been slowly improving and the food is still good as always. I still eat at this location and I certainly appreciate the improvements that have been made.

I have been here a time or two with no issues other than slow service sometimes. After today I am not going back... The waiter didnt refill our drinks unless we flagged down one of the waitresses... I was there with 4 kids one a toddler and one an infant. He snatched the order slips from my childrens hands, snatched the menu from one of my daughters, and was cutting dirty looks to my kids every time they would speak. Finally after we were almost done eating I asked for extra napkins to clean up the kids and the table I got three... Then my daughter knocked her water over and I had to use every napkin on the table to clean it up. Mean while our waiter stood behind me waiting for the couple to pay their check and never said anything to me he just watched me do his job. To top it all off I called to talk to a manager to complain and the lady who answered the phone handed me off to someone else who didnt even care what I had to say. Not going back and wouldnt recommend it either.
