I came to the establishment after work for take out, I ordered a small and large chicken burrito only rice and chicken. When I got home I found my order was incorrect and they only put chicken. I called and spoke with the manager Deion and he was VERY apologetic and offered to replace my meal. I went back the next day after work and Deion offered his sincerest apologies again and even gave me a hug! The order was correct this time but the rice was really under cooked, I am not sure if the rice was to be of that consistency but we were unable to eat the burritos for a 2nd time. I did not bother to call back and make a complaint for fear of them thinking I was possibly just making another complaint to receive free meals but we were unable to eat either order. I am not sure that I will return again but I just want to say if I do it will be to give it another try for the heck of it (hoping new cook issues or something) lol, ive heard great reviews despite my experience and lastly because of the manager Deion. He was so sweet and genuinely cared that I had this experience and really wanted to make it right without hesitation. Living in a society where customer service is severely lacking especially in the food industry he was a breath of fresh air and I was really grateful for his compassion. Your establishment has a jewel that is rare! Deion Thank you! if you get the opportunity to read this and continue to be great because you never know who may need the blessing of your personality!

*EDIT* Ive upped it to 3 stars. I still think Chipotle wins in the burrito game. I also stand by some of my comments below in my original review. I will say the smoked turkey wrap was really good though, and is mostly the reason for the additional star. Their green sauce is good too. Still not a fan of their chips and salsa. Service is always a hit or miss here. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* I wasnt that impressed with this place. Actually disappointed seeing as it gets so many good reviews. I think Chipotle is a lot better than what I had here. I also had to wait in line for what seemed like 30 minutes, which I didnt mind until I tasted the food. I ordered a grilled chicken burrito with black beans, added sour cream, and salsa and chips. The burrito was very bland. The chips tasted stale, and covered my to go bag in grease. Their salsa or should I call it tomatoes in water is terrible. The place is in a good location and it has a lot of interesting people come in and out of the business. This restaurant seems to be a hipster convention 24/7. Its fun to people watch, but dont expect anything more than that from this business in regards to satisfying your taste buds.

Food used to be good before the menu was changed. Not safe for disabled or handicapped people!!! Very narrow bar, unsafe back outside area. I fell and fractured my ankle on a random piece of cement that served no purpose and had no sign and wasnt even painted a different color to show that there was a section of ground to be cautious of or anything. There are a lot of uneven patches in the old cement floor that are very unsafe for disabled (or drunk or elderly) patrons. I was leaving the outside area with 5 friends and stepped down on a weird rectangle lump/step/threshold thing and sprained and fractured my ankle. Thank goodness my wife and friends were there to help me, because I fell under another table and no one from burrito gallery offered help or asked if I was ok. Even when my wife had to basically carry me through the narrow bar area and out the restaurant. It took 2 months to heal and that was a year ago and I am still having issues with that ankle. Im already disabled and mostly bedridden. I dont ever plan on going back to burrito gallery. Especially because the menu is completely different than it used to be.

Hey D. Woods here! This review will not take long because this place is great! Seldom do I envision giving 5 Star Reviews, but the VALUE at Burrito Gallery is far more superior than comparable establishments as far as the quality of the food is concerned. You certainly get your moneys worth in terms of portion size (I had a grilled chicken burrito) and the taste was fantastic! The CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE was excellent too! The employee working the register was very informative and you could tell they were a big fan of where they worked and what they served. All of our questions regarding ingredients, allergens and preferences were answered with compassion for us as guests as their location. They were engaged and wanted us to enjoy our visit. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for a great place to eat. If I had to suggest one thing to improve this, it would be to offer a better brand of tea flavors. I would even consider offering some type of unique in house created beverage that adds to the culture of the environment, but again that’s splitting hairs for such a great establishment.

Lunchtime. I got the large curry chicken burrito. The large Burrito was surprisingly small. The flavor of the curry chicken was very good... and its all downhill from here. They charged me $3.50 for the smallest amount of sour cream, guacamole and chips! Honestly, I noticed the tiniest bit of sour cream and that was it. The whole thing was falling apart because they didnt drain the beans, I had a huge black puddle on my desk. The chips were sooo incredibly stale that I almost couldnt eat them, luckily, they only give you a brown paper bag that is about a quarter full of chips (a comically small amount). I seriously cant get over charging $3.50, which is half the cost of the entire burrito, for basically non-existent sour cream and guacamole on the burrito, and a sad bag of stale chips... oh the house salsas are actually very good! I would suggest saving your money and skip the $3.50 add-ons. A $7.00 mehhhh burrito is a much better prospect than spending $15.00 (after tax, $3.50 up charge, & drink) on a mehhhhh burrito and some stale chips.

My first impression of Burrito Gallery was that it was woefully understaffed during ArtWalk. It felt more like a fire trap than a popular eatery. I am not usually a fan of having to wait longer a meal than it usually takes to actually eat it. The fact that everyone from a ten-mile radius flocks to this place surely means that the food is great, right? I think that the food is good for a fair price. I went again on a slower day so I could think clearly about the BG experience. Well, I went on a slower evening and waited at the counter for 15 minutes because counter staff was MIA. One person in the kitchen saw me and did not say a word. He might have said, "Someone will be with you shortly." I emailed the management about that experience and received a kind email apologizing for the problem. This is what makes a restaurant good, they care about their customers enough to address their concerns. I went back again this past week and had a great dinner. On a final note, the art inside gives the place lots of local charm. Thank you!
