We were staying in the Inverness area and thought we would try this place because of the positive reviews. We immediately found the meal prices in this small, popular place to be very reasonable. It seems that Mexican food (like pizza) is highly subjective. What I think is the greatest ever, you may well despise. The food snobs are always talking about what is "authentic". Unfortunately, nobody seems to agree on what "authentic" is, not even folks from Mexico. I dont know whether the food here is "authentic" or not, nor do I even care. I just know that we loved everything we were served. In fact, my wife thought the beef fajitas were possibly her favorite of all time. We look forward to going again.

Quality was reminiscent of taco bells value menu. Quantity for price was a joke. All meat used (in 8 different items) was a uniform low quality ground beef (didnt they used to use fresh shredded beef?). The service was non-existent, didnt see the water after we got our food until we flagged him down for the bill. My cup had a previous customers lipstick on it. Flies were all over the food. And a Mexican restaurant with only extremely mild salsa is just sad.

Terrible. Ordered chicken tenders and fries for my son: got microwaved store bought chicken nuggets and really old fries. My husbands plate was a pile of microwaved mush: some of which was still cold in the middle. The burrito and enchilada were just a bit of hamberger, nothing else. One in a flour tortilla and one in a corn tortilla covered in the same sauce. My toco salad had almost no lettuce in it. Overall, it couldnt have been much worse.

Delicious food. Staff are very friendly, cool people. Fair prices. My favorite Mexican restaurant around here. $4 margaritas on the rocks, all the time. Prompt service. Free Wi-Fi. Lots of decorations to look at. Plenty of food options. Busy during prime times, IE, weekends, 4/5/6/7pm, etc. Usually pretty quick and the wait isnt too long, but its definitely worth grabbing a meal from here. They also offer carry out.

Ive been there three times. The first time was many years ago and the food tasted like it was canned food. Ive been back twice recently and it was delicious. The service is great and both times it has been very busy. Store front restaurant in a busy mall. 3/10 I took my daughter tonight and the food wasnt as good as it has been. 3/11 I took my mom tonight and the food was great. Its always busy when I stop in.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMexican food. This place is a bit small but very nice. The food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is wonderful. The sweet tea is sweet but not diabetic coma sweet. They have great lunch specials. The menu is very descriptive, so you know what you are ordering. I have been to a few Mexican places that the menu is mostly in Spanish and I end up have look up the translation on Google. Enjoy.

The waiter was talking on speaker phone when we got in there and didnt say anything to us and dropped menus on the table. After we got drinks he started talking to the staff and it was at least ten minutes till we got our order and when he did he very briskly asked for our orders. The food got there pretty fast and was really good so I might go there again cause it was probably just an off day.

Great food and margaritas !!! Service is always Top Notch, prices cant be beat for the quality and the staff is simply Awesome !!! As a connoisseur of good food, beverage and service and being from the southwest I can be rather harsh with My opinions when it comes to Mexican food and as you see I have ratted the Inverness, Fl El Ranchito with 5 stars as they have well deserved it !!!

The wait staff were bad. Nobody was friendly. They took our order with grunts and nods. When we asked for anything we got an eyeroll. At the end when I paid the bill the cashier tossed the receipt at me. I give it 2 stars only because the food wasnt bad. However we will not go back.

This was the worst thing that I have ever ate. Grainy nasty meat on rubbery corn tortillas. The cashier tried to cheat my husband out of 5 dollars. Never go back anyone reading this dont go. Its like dog food and rubber, service is horrible and they cheat you. .# el sucko

DO NOT EAT HERE. The food was terrible. Me & my boyfriend both got food poisoning from it. It was our first time ever eating there, & we looked at all the reviews, a lot of people said it was good so we decided to try it out and we are both super sick from it.

Unfortunately disappointing, I came on a recommendation and they got my order wrong twice then threw my receipt and debit card at me when I did not leave a big tip. Why leave a tip when you cant leave my order correctly?
