After seeing the review about the $2 tacos from 5-6pm I promptly confirmed this detail (its actually 2.50 per taco) then paid them a visit. Evening prices are an average of $15, while the taco platter (with beans and rice and 3 tacos) is normally 12. The tacos were stuffed with lots of meat! 2 tacos and 2 glasses of iced tea later I was pretty stuffed. Tacos offered for this deal were the lime pulled pork, chicken (blackened, grilled, fried), grilled mahi tuna, and fried lobster. I tried pork, fish, and chicken. Tuna was a little spicier than most but not too spicy. Pulled pork was not too salty and again tasted delicious (this was probably my favorite). Chicken was... well a very good chicken taco. The 2.50 taco deal is available all day tuesday and every night from 5-6 (including sunday). Unfortunately, the soft drinks are a bit much considering the price of beers. (2.50 for a soft drink w/refills and 3.00 for a bottle of landshark beer) I also ordered their Wahoo Dip served with fresh homemade kettle chips for about 8 or 9 and again the portion was very generous and the food was beyond excellent. Service speed was anywhere from timely to within reason. They kept are drinks refilled and made sure we were happy. Unfortunately, I did not get to check out their lunch menu, but Im sure thats good as well and perhaps a little bit lower in price. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would recommend others try out this place sometime. Ill be sure to come back and try their lunch.

Time of day may alter the experience, but we ventured here on a Sunday afternoon for dinner and loved it. Had we not had a full slate of restaurants we wanted to try while down there, this would have likely been a repeat stop. The wait staff was friendly, the food was great. The only regret is that they had about 5 things I wanted to try because of how good they sounded. It wont be the cheapest place you eat, but I dont believe you will walk away feeling like you paid too much for bad food. If you order something that comes with rice, wink and sweet talk your waitress into switching it to the hawaiian fried rice. I could have eaten a whole plate of just that!

At lunch here. The fried shrimp was pretty good. There were about 10 good-sized shrimp. The prices on the menu were pretty standard for the area. The young ladies that waited on our table were very friendly with us and the other tables around us. I tried one of their blackened Mahi tacos from my friends plate. The portion of fish was pretty good, but there was little to no spiciness to it. Usually blackened dishes have spicy...having some "bite" to them. These didnt. Not that they were bad, mind you. Just not what i expected.

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch here today. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. My fish and chips and his fish tacos were tasty and plentiful. We both enjoyed our drinks as well, I had the torched tiki cocktail and he had a hawaiian beer. The place wasnt packed but we hope to go back one night for happy hour and see what kind of crowd hangs out at Hula! A great local restaurant and a must visit if youre in the area..

After leaving lowes, My wife suggested we try a restaurant shes heard so much about, after my kidney transplant Im a little nerves to eat out, as we walked in, Smiling faces everywhere, and our server Diane with help from all of the staff was Very Accommodating with my request, and the food was GR8 and all for a very reasonable price, give Hula Moon a try between 5p & 6p when their Taco are only $2. Excellent cucumber vodka and fruity monitor! Great taco specials from 5pm. Happy hour has decent discounts from 5-7pm. Luau pork plate is excellent when on special. Pork melts in the mouth and grilled pineapple is perfect. Fried plantains are a great addition as well. Grouper Verde special was very good as well. The avocado vinaigrette was super smooth and tasty and had a great zing.

Sunday late afternoon dinner for 3 including my girlfriends kid. Food quality, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Try the homemade chips with the wahoo cheese dip. I had the luau pork plate seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was genuinely nice and attentive to our needs thanks Aubrey. We love to go non chain local places we will go here again.

Excellent service by our server Manda. Tuna appetizer was great. My only concern was the Thai chicken bowl. Im not sure what makes this Thai. First the chicken was far to dry as if left in a slow cooker too long. Then it was just rice, chicken, corn , and some sweet chili sauce. How about a yellow curry sauce? This tasted cheap, but overall try it out.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere! I had lobster tacos and hubby had tuna club (with tuna steak). Seems kid friendly at first, but I subtracted one star because they dont have a changing table! Ive never experienced this before, I find it very odd. The bathrooms were very clean and large, plenty of space for a changing table.

I ordered the ahi tuna bowl. The fish was so smelly and it was masked by a ton of salt to hide the smell. I sent it back with disgust. Hula Moon, you should just tell customers that you are out of the item before you serve such disgusting food for the pursuit of a profit. Two thumbs down.

Just happened to be in Melbourne and stopped by for dinner. Love the island vibe and the aestetics of the locale. Food was incredibly tasty and portions were enough to feed two of me! Not close enough to where I live but I will remember to stop back by when I decide to visit the coast again.

Came to Melbourne for business but decided to stay one more night and I am glad I did since I got to eat at this place with my wife. I had the lobster tacos and she had the stuffed flounder. Great choices and the service was also good, thank you Hillary for the suggestions

I have been here with my family. Its a bar/restaurant with nice Hawaiian art and pictures. The food was very delicious, tasted fresh and not so heavy and fat. Also some nice meals for the kids, e.g. Fish and rice. You will find something for every taste.

Very comfortable atmosphere...plenty of space....menu is good....but, I have to say, the teriyaki glazed mahi was very good, but the same topping on the shrimp made them the best tasting shrimp I have ever eaten....And Im 58..... And Im very picky....

Excellent! Nice clean place, great atmosphere, my lobster tacos could barely close and were delicious. The pork luau was great also. Or server was awesome. Definitely recommend. Also, 5-6pm and all day taco Tuesday, $2.50 tacos.

The tacos are amazing and are worth it during taco Tuesdays. The bowls are okay. They have too much rice and not that much flavor. The desserts are fantastic especially the chocolate drizzled plantains with a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Delicious food. I got the smoke fish and dip for appetizer with potato chip, my favorite. For entree, I got the tuna poke bowl, not too great due to lot of soy sauce and the rice were a bit mushy. Everything is great otherwise.
