We were here for a post-wedding brunch hosted by the grooms family. It was fabulous. Each dish was excellent, the vegetable strata, andouille sausage, fruit salad, and especially the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were high quality and perfectly cooked, nice and tender. Special shout out to the biscuits with honey butter, wish I had eaten three of them!! Coffee was especially good as well. The staff was very professional and helpful. The outdoor space is lovely, overlooking the bay and with a good mix of sunny and shady seats. The private event set up is great, everything is easily accessible and very relaxed for the guests. Location is very convenient to Wrens and Armitage hotels, as well as the ArtLofts Airbnb, so it was perfect for this wedding brunch since the guests were staying there.

On a cold day on our way driving back from FLA we vered off the trail to explore the area of Beaufort. What a lovely town and stumbled upon the Saltus River Grill. Not only does this restaurant offer the best view of the water, the service was top notch (yea Nick). I had roasted beet soup (who knew) and the featured fish dish of the day, red fish. We were so pleased with the flavors and presentation that inspite of our fullness, had to try the almond pound cake under whipped cream and dressed with candied lemon grates. OH Boy, a its worth the forty minutes off the trail to discover this gem. Amen

We had a great first experience at Saltus last night. We made reservations on the drive down from Charleston and had no problem getting a table. Nicholas, our server, embodies the spirit of hospitality and service - he was a true delight. The food was delicious - Ive never had a better crab bisque in my life than I did at Saltus. Our selection of this restaurant was a shot in the dark by some out-of-towners, but I will make it a point to return in the future.

I had been here a while back for dinner. My wife and I were on the way to Charleston and stopped by for a mid-afternoon lunch on a Wednesday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. Lunch was decent, local microbrews good but as we were eating our lunch at the bar, a huge Roach ran across the bar and landed on the floor. Bartended pretended not to see it, but others did. Maybe the SC Department of Health should know about this.

Amazing food!! We were so happy with it that we ended up going back two nights in a row during our week of vacation. I will remember their food for years to come! We shared a lot of small plates and everything was delicious. The best crab bisque and salmon sushi were the best Ive ever had, and the other dishes were creative and unusual.

We had a great dinner with exceptional service. We started with local oysters..very fresh and flavorful. I had the Sous Vide Waygu Beef which was excellent. They set a large steak knife with the dish...I could have cut it with a butter knife it was so tender. The local fried shrimp as an appetizer was great and our waiter was exceptional.

I have never been disappointed here! Everything is amazing from beginning to end. Wonderful fish dishes, really fun small plates and the desserts are insane. Impeccable service. One of the only places that I can send tourist to and know that they will have a great night.

Everything was ridiculously delicious. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs roll up the sushi, which was a lot of fun. I just hate that this place is several hours away from where we live. I cant wait to come back. Worth making the trip just for the food.

the mussels were ok. the brooth so-so. followed that with calamares. served in a cone shaped dish to absorb the frying oil.. got nothing but bits and pieces of unidentifyable heavly coated non-descript pieces. no shape. no taste. great disappointment.

Fun place... My regular hangout. Sushi is good, priced right. Excellent choice of good beers on tap, which is always changing. Dinner is too pricey for what you get, although their filet is the best in town. Try the crab bisk... Its excellent.

My family and I had an amazing experience here. The food was phenomenal! Their beef tenderloin was the best Ive ever had. We sat outside and enjoyed our dinner while overlooking the bay surrounded by giant trees with Spanish moss hanging off them.

Went to dinner with a group of Friends and this was the first time for my wife and I. Scallops were not hot and and overcooked. The fish my wife ordered was too salty. Service was slow and items were too pricey Probably will not try it again.

Their blackened dorado is a dish every human being should try. The wood grill is delicious too. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, both outside and inside (they have a live band on certain days), and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Nice looking, with lovely water view....but ...mediocre food and overpriced wine. We ordered the house chardonnay...basic bar wine but were charged $8 a glass. Go for the ambiance, have a little sushi...but dont expect a great meal.

Food is AWESOME! a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. The night we went we sat outside and heard some live blues. A nice romantic evening if you wanted to make a date out of it. The restaurant is right on the water.

the best beaufort has to offer. shrimp and grits were memorable. Best cocktails in beaufort, which is saying a lot because Wren is fabulous (although, their options are a little less risky than the more inspired wren)

Awesome staff, great food. The hostesses like chelsea are super friendly. Justin is amazing with his sushi creations and Robert creates amazing desserts. My favorite servers to request are Paige and Brandon

Pretty pricey but every dish was spectacular. The scallops were divine and our party really enjoyed the dorado, pork chops and swordfish. The steak tartar small plate was the best Ive ever had.

We really enjoyed the food on the patio of this restaurant, which looks out onto the park and then the harbor. Best meal we had in Beaufort.
