Unfortunately we had a server that just made the situation even worse. I knew we where in trouble when I asked how the calamari was and the response from our waitress was "its seems popular". Really? Thats the answer I get? The appetizer came and the calamari was pretty good. We knew the place was busy so we asked the server when she dropped the calamari off we wanted to order dinner. My wife tried to order the prime rib and it was sold out by 7pm. We understand that and that was not a problem. We asked the server for just quick moment to let My wife look at the menu again.. almost 20mins went by before she returned. My wife ordered shrimp I ordered the N.Y. strip. The food was dropped off and looked great! Unfortunately, my N.Y. strip, well it was more like shoe then a decent cut of beef. It happens, its meat, I get that.. what I dont get is that 20 mins later I had to stop another server because our server never stopped in to check on us. It would have been a simple fix.. she could have brought me a different steak, but that didnt happen! By that time my wife had finished her meal and I was not going to eat after my wife was finished her meal. The random server we stopped was very apologetic and grabbed the manager. The manger came over and also apologized and asked if there was anything he could do. I told him we just would like to order dessert. He took our order and then the desert came.. not at all what we ordered. Wow.. even the manager... The bill came and I was charged for a steak the was not edible...Figures... Anyway.. my rant in not only over the food debacle or the $74 wasted..but more about the limited time my wife and I have.. We never have the chance to go out alone.. between work and 4 kids.. finding the time to spend alone is hard.. So thank you 2nd Street for wasting our night.

I brought friends to the Bistro last night, have always enjoyed the place and the food. It was busy with diners playing trivia, we went to the front desk, we were asked our party amount, which was only 3. We stood for 15 min. waiting on a table. Two gentlemen came in after we did, they stood waiting behind us, we saw the hostess going over to them with her book. Then when a booth became available they were escorted to it, not us. We asked why they were seated first, the young women at the desk said that the hostess wrote them down before us even though they came in after us???? All three of the workers at the front laughed, guess they thought it was funny. We felt that we were not treated fairly or politely. We decided to go somewhere else at that point. Guess I wont be bringing my guests again. Too bad, I really enjoyed going there, even had the app. on my phone. :-(

We had reservations on Valentines Day for six people at 5 oclock. We were served 2 1/2 hours later! In that time NO manager came to our table to apologize, or say that there was a problem. The waitress came over twice to her credit. People came and went who had come in after us. Finally we asked for the manager, 3 times before she came and she had an attitude and no smile on her face. We finally finally got our food....most orders were wrong, no one returned the food, WHY YOU ASK, we were starving by this point. Food was so so. Food was mostly cold and it was not worth the wait! All of our drinks were taken off the bill, AFTER we insisted they should do something to comp us for this horrible experience. So bottom line dont go here. We surely wont ever again.

The stone crab claws were amazing! I am making a new update to my existing review. This time I had the Wahoo piccata it was absolutely delicious! The sauce was perfection I could not have done a better job myself and I went to culinary school. Another thing I did not mention in my previous review is that every time I have been there the service has been outstanding it seems like each staff member is exceptionally well-trained to ask the proper qualifying questions to be sure that all of your orders come out perfect. Im guessing that the management there must really know what they are doing has this restaurant seems to operate like a smoothly oiled machine. A++++++++++

I worked as a bartender and a corporate trainer in restaurants 15+ years and I usually sit at the bar for lunch. Amanda immediately judged me when I ordered water and was clearly less then enthusiastic when she served me a plastic cup instead of a bar glass with last nights half rotted lime on the edge of the glass. The burger was about as "bistro" as Applebees it was clearly a once frozen patty. I would expect the flair that Amanda lacked when she stared right through me would be forgotten by an amazing bistro burger and fries but even the potatoes lacked zip as they were barely cooked. I suggest they just call it 2nd Street Bar since thats all It really is.

This place rocks! If you have the chance make it there on a Sunday for their buffet, DO IT! A competitive eater would be overwhelmed! They have all the typical breakfast fare, made, baked, fried, and grilled to perfection as well they also offered Large Fresh Shrimp and Raw Oysters on ice! Throw in a dedicated chef making omelets to order, Belgium waffles and carving ham which he brings to your table and youre left wanting to sleep in the booth after devouring all the goodness. 2 for 1 Bloody Marys....A+ and kudos to the friendly staff!

10/10 would not reccomend. Ordered a medium steak and it came out completely rare so we sent it back came out still rare so I asked for the manager and she offered us free dessert. $6 dessert in exchange for a $22 steak. So about 20 minutes later we receive the third steak still rare but now with freezing cold sides. So I ask for the bill and she took off the $10 appetizer like wow. Our waitress on the other hand was extremely pleasant and polite. She was very apologetic for the inconvenience although I still will never come back.

I had the pleasure of trying the shrimp poboy at the Fort Pierce Oyster Festival today. It was delicious-the shrimp was cooked to perfection but I always thought a poboy came in a sub roll-this was just 7 pieces of shrimp. Not a problem...my problem was with the blond girl with the blue tank top and white pants showing her crack! Not professional and her attitude with people and rudeness was horrible. Employ people that want to work and LIKE people..she is not good at the front line and needs a class in hospitality.

I stopped in here on a whim with my boyfriend and a few of his friends. We were going to go to the tiki bar, but didnt want to wait to eat. We were able to get a few seats pretty quickly. Veronica was our waitress and she was awesome. She was always on top of getting us whatever we needed before we even asked. I liked that they had a drink menu of mixed drinks (I never know what to order!). The food was pretty good too. Overall we had a really fun experience. Fort Pierce has long needed a place like this.
