Alright, after finally having their sushi over twenty-something times, I can definitely say that this place has some of the best rolls in town. I dont know who they have back there, but whoever is in charge of making that sushi knows what hes doing. Ive been to japanese places all over the place, and yeah sure, some will have really good sushi because thats what they specialize in. But for Quarterdeck to have such a succulent selection of japanese cuisine alongside an already impressive full dining menu is impressive. It means I can always have a choice, and that my no-sushi friends will still come along when I want to take advantage of the delicious lunch bento box! Unfortunately, to make an order over the phone here, you need to know your stuff. Dont expect the staff to know their sushi menu. It will only frustrate you. A lot of the younger staff is sweet, but tons of them act like theyve never been more inconvenienced when I try to make my order here. So read your stuff, tell them exactly where on the menu it is, and dont let them walk on you.

this use to be a fun place to go but it seems all the kids who grew up working here never got kicked out of their parents house and now are the ones in charge. seems busy but its all a bunch of employees giving each other free drinks and acting like assholes, the tourist business is good so upper management has not fully appreciated the affect this has on the bottom line, kids are smoking pot in the upstairs apartments and bragging about it, i wish the police would dui every idiot in this place it has gotten so out of control(but they are corrupt and im sure they are bangin the waitstaff trying to climb the social ladder). only in america do inmates run the prison. LOL at the guy who said he got a great deal on maine lobster for $25bucks, every TUES n THURS its $13.95 every week you got suckered, how was the dead one from the day before?

The Mahi burrito was great the beer that came and got spilled all over my lap and my phone and broke the mug all over the deck was also a mistake but the waitress never apologized to me then she charges me for the beer that was spilled. The beer literally slipped out of her hand it never was set on the table. My cousin said they collided arms. I want to the manager and ask for a free beer but I didnt get it I did get the spilled beer taken off. I never touched that beer. Sure wasnt going to pay for it and shouldnt have been asked to . Its just bizarre that they dared charge me for the spilled beer no apology ever given. Audacity! so my respects to the cook but that blonde waitress sucks. Maybe it was her first week and nobody ever trained her so then shame on the company

Yes i did a take out order and i think the guy buster who could perhaps be new or either mis understood what i had ordered. I wanted the claifornia and spicy tuna rolls like regular sushi but instead got these "handrolls" i didnt know what they were so i called the store and they ended up reimbursing me for the mistake. I hung up and ate the handrolls and they were so freaking good. I wish they would have answered i would have told them never mind. No loss here. This place is always great i always have super nice people who get my order. I am a gm and to find quality good people is very hard. So woth that being said good job quarterdeck staff u have dedinatly did a great job!!!!!

The environment has a seaboard feel with a restaurant and sports bar feel. The food taste fresh, just a bit off when it comes to true cuisine. The staff is very nice. I experienced their annual beer fest competition where you can sample as much as you can from local breweries. The winner gets to have their beers on tap for a full uear. The crowd was very mature and friendly. The band.... Can you say Awesome. They covered the best of known and unknown Reggae songs. Me being part Jamaican can say that they made the old rhythms come to life. I may visit again, but definitely will be at the next annual competition.l!

Second bad meal after taking a date and ordered sushi which she said seemed warm.. all night spend in the bathroom. Been eating and drinking at the bar for 17yrs.. Might be time to review management and customer service. Still tipped good to are server. He tried his best.

This use to be a nice place for us yachties to hang out. In the last 8 years, the quality of food, level of service, and and overall rating has dropped to beyond wasting time. The great specials are no longer offered, all that is left is just another tourist trap, poor tasting garbage food stop. Yes, it once was a great place to dine and hang out, but those days are gone.

I was heading to Southport Raw Bar across the street but saw this place. They have a very inviting fire pit with a nice outside seating area. The weather was lovely so we decided to try this place. Our waitress brought our drinks a little too late. The sushi I ordered was warm and the salmon they served was farm raised. The ambiance was Perfect but the food not so much.

I lived here for few years back at the end of the 90s. It was not the best food but it was the place to hang out if you were a crew member on a yacht. Pool tables and beer. That was what that place is all about. Food and service was a hit or miss. Over all, its a fun place to hang out and meet up with other crew members from the yachts.

My family and I went the night before our cruise, they were the only restaurant opened; food was fantastic- we ate the left over jambalaya for breakfast! On our way back from the cruise went back for lunch and the food wasnt as tasty as the week before, probably a different cook. Great servers.

Friendly server, great burger with loads of toppings and options for a great price. Was nice to get out of the tourist trap street area and enjoy a restruant that works with local fishermen and doesnt overcharge because youre tourists. Best place to eat in fort Lauderdale.

Asked server about the steak she said rib eye was very Good, I ordered medium rare, steak came out well done, she replaced steak and it was cooked properly, however the steak had no taste , first time in a long time I asked for 57 sauce to eat my steak, wont be back.

If you are looking for a local hangout to go eat simple seafood, salads, wings, burgers or sushi, it is a great place. Good for lunch and dinner or just hanging out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They are not highly priced and great for family or friends.

Ive been eating at Quarterdeck for over 20 years and the place never disappoints. Good service and great food. The ribs are the best in town, the sushi is a bit high priced, but good and they have tater tots as a side! Who has tater tots as a side these days!
