Well first I must say that I have been wanting to dine at this restaurant for a while we always ate at Le Zoo right across from them, I always said we have to dine there cause it is always packed with people and buzz. So today we arrived before the crowed and first we had to clean our seats (bread crumbs) than the table was dirty (the hostess did ask if we wanted a table cloth) Now this is all in the first 10 minutes and just opened, now the fun begins I have a service dog (11lbs) sitting on my lap after we ordered the waitress came and said that the manager said the dog had to be on the floor I kindly explained the reason and purpose of my dog (SHIFU) and that was the end of that all OK than our food appetizer arrived and it was tasteless to me my wife thought it was ok (tried finding the item on line but it was not on there on line menu) it was a flatbread with goat cheese and shrimp, then my wife ordered the GAMBERI DADOLATI salad, she said it was just a salad that you can order anywhere (nothing special) I had the special Sea Bass witH a side of RISOTTO- the risotto was also nothing special ( my wife and I have had risotto around the world and I would say this was a good try but misses the mark ) The Sea bass was good ( but hard to make a bad sea bass since you can burn it and still be yummy) ok thats the food now the service when my wife salad arrived the food runner had his thumbs all over the rim of the plate and you could see the his prints on the rim so we asked for the manager and explained out to him the prints and he agreed. And as my food was served once again the food runner reached pass my wifes food and served my dish ( that is so improper ) the waitress in the beginning never refilled our glasses she must of heard our conversation and then she started to. I been in the restaurant industry all my life and am old (smile) I watched there staff very intently and witnessed error upon error. Wine service presented and poured incorrectly I can go on but my point is for the price point the service should be OUTSTANDING If they need a trainer for there staff call me Oh! I did speak to the manager on the way out and told him of all observations ( HOPE HE GETS IT)

Seated/Crammed outside on the terrace.(Table of 4) Service could of been better, waiter was not clear and very aggressive towards taking our orders. As we were speaking with the waiter, the waiter seemed dazed looking everywhere else rather rather then to focusing on us. We received our dishes, feeling rushed. water was not being refilled only until we bought wine. Bread, we had to ask for it-Dont count on it being warm. We decided to make the best of it eat our meals. Pricey$ Pricey$ Pricey$ for frozen foods that are just heated. We finished the night by paying the bill, as we received the bill from the waiter. We decided we will be paying the bill(cash) the waiter came back looked at the bill and took off with all of the cash and the bill, never returning with my change,-I would understand if the waiter would of said ( Is it complete?). No. Just a look and grab, in translation the waiter felt he deserved a 40$ tip. Never to be seen again, I then tried to communicate with a secondary waiter asking where our (Franklyn the turtle looking waiter) ended up. It was the Carpaccio Mystery. I then got fed up and left. Food is not worth it for the price. not fresh(Commercial sauce, nothing is "home made, not even the pasta" . Atmosphere, your sitting in a parking lot.. Waiters make you feel rushed and from our understanding, **Tourist** "They dont know any better". Wouldnt go back, nor recommend this place to anyone for how embarrassed i would feel if they would have the same experience.

This review is because I just want to be sure you ask for the only one person willing to give a good service at that place, Mrs. Paula. The rest.... well... At first, a weitress came and removed my salt right when I was going to use it, without even asking us. Then, after my appetizer was finished, I was informed that they could not prepare what I ordered, because they ran out of lobsters. This, after 20 minutes I ordered... 20 MINUTES. After that, I ended up ordering a fillet mignon, trying to be sure it was something simple and it was not a mistake. Well, I was wrong. The most tasteless one I have ever tried. Last but not least, when the check came, my dish... the one I took forced, and left half because I didnt even like it, was charged. So.... this manager, a gentleman named Robert, has a lot to learn about managing a restaurant. One never expects this in a restaurant like this one. Dont go, but if you must, ask to be served by Paula. She is amazing. One of those servers really willing to serve.

We had dinner on Sunday February 3, waiter was Milton D, we had to ladies from Italy as our guest. The total was $ 138.80 and I added a tip of $ 18.70 on my credit card charge. The waiter came back telling me the following: Sir, the tip is not added here, you are supposed to put at least $ 21 in this case or has something not been OK? I added some cash.I go to this place very often as I live near by and many times with guest too, since nearly ten years. I never had such a rude behaviour of a waiter in any restaurant ever! They will never see me again and I will not -as I used to- send anybody there.

Amazing food, with a selection you wont see anywhere else. Reasonable prices. Truly spectacular! But below average server, who never came back to check on anything after the food was delivered (even had to go to the bar ourselves to get water refills). Had to wait forever for our check, then again to get him to take the payment. And to top it all off, they only had one single person unisex bathroom for the ENTIRE restaurant to use! Literally 7 people waiting in line to use it. It would be faster to go into the mall and find one. But the food was so good, it was worth all of the drawbacks.

servers not trained, not even common courtesy. trying to have business luncheon meeting and waiter just barged right into the conversation. no salt/pepper on table. couldnt get waters refilled. 4 waiters trying to rush ahead of me to get inside the door and push me aside. Not really busy hate to see it after mid February. They walk up with plates of food and try to push it on you, instead of waiting to be acknowledged and we prepare ourselves to receive food and move personal items to the side. WAIT TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED BEFORE SPEAKING. HOW ABOUT SOME TRAINING?

Really sad that this restaurant fell so far. It used to be one of the best Italian restaurant in Bal Harbour and now its simply mediocre. The service is a joke, with waiters who are indifferent and often forget orders, and the food quality has gone way down and is no longer worth the price. To top it off, eating at the restaurant is a hassle as the sitting is so unbelievably cram. Pretty much, not worth it. For the price there are so many better options, so avoid Carpaccio if you actually want a present dinning experience.
