As a South Florida native, Ive had the pleasure of visiting many different Publix many, many times. The Galleria Publixs been my go-to grocery store since it opened a few years ago. This Publix feels a bit more efficient in space than others, as it doesnt seem as big as the Publix in Pompano. Thats not to say its missing anything from the typical Publix experience. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful; there must be some sort of rule that if a customer walks within a few feet of a worker they must warmly welcome them or face the pit! Its hard to pick out a particular department or employee there to highlight, as they are all so great. The only reason I didnt give this Publix a fifth star was it doesnt have a liquor store like one of the other FTL locations. Careful not to take the carts past the yellow line in the parking lot, or they get very, very stuck!

I went last night sun march 20 and Had the worst experience! Went to get a sub. And the two employees at the deli were fighting and unsulting each other. Then the manager at the Deli came out and yelled at them and told the young lady there to make my sandwich which she just jammed all the topings into with an attitude, as soon as i unqrapped it most topings fell off, and after i ate only half of it i got sick to my stomach and threw up twice at work. The place was dirty and had a bunch of cardboard boxes stacked everywhere. I think it was just a bad experience judging from the other reviews.

I rate this 4 star because the location is close to me, staff is friendly and food is generally fresh and well presented. Ambiance is good and service is excellent. This is a smaller store, however, so selection is limited. Prices are high-ish (esp on produce) except for 2-for-1 deals, which often are good deals. Seafood counter staff could use some training, but if you know what you want and ask for it, theyll try to help you.

I like shopping at Publix- everyone is usually helpfull and very polite, that unlil you want to go to the deli to get a sandwich- it takes at least half an hour, ppl are usually frustrated of waiting!! put more employees there or teach them how to speed up, instead of talking and barely moving! not much brain needed to make a sandwich! Especially when its just 2-3 ppl in line!

I bought two already made salads that I usually love from the Deli dept. , took one to work and the lettuce was ready for the trash...It was horrible. I was so disappointed..and now I have one in the Fridge for tonight that will end up in the trash as well. These salads are $8 each so you expect them to be fresh and not waste $16.00 ...Yuck

Customer service is always friendly, but the deli is always painfully understocked in condiments. I shouldnt ever have to wait in line for a salad dressing packet for a prepared salad. Whoever does the inventory makes it very difficult for people on lunch breaks to get in and out.
