This place deserves 5 if... it would treat all customers same standards. Food is good, kind of expensive for such Caffè but you will be compensated by beautiful view especially at sunsets. They have two tap beers and many cold drinks to choose from. The Caffè is privately operated in Florida State Park. Park is opened till sunset however the Caffè is usually closed after 5pm. On the other side they have private wedding parties closed to the the public however those usually last after the sunset. This is really annoying especially during summer vacation time when you want to spend some time afternoon on the beach and have something to drink, eat and they are closed after 5pm.

The beach is great, this cafe on the other hand sucks. We walk in hungry and ready to buy, we were respectful, and the staff gives us a lot of attitude for asking simple questions like "how much is the grouper sandwich (the menu says "market". The food is overpriced and mediocre at best. If you want to go to the beach, have a great experience but leave with a bad taste in your mouth while simultaneously flushing money down the toilet, then go here.

Waste of time. Beach is very rocky, like softball sized. Beach is covered in foot deep seaweed and smells. Its great for wildlife and is intentionally being left that way, which is good. Surely some place in FL should be left to nature. But if your looking for a nice (groomed) beach this is not it. The park facilities were fine, lots of bath houses, etc. plenty of parking. Just not your typical beach experience.

Im not judging the food or anything like that.. but me and my family just went to this while we were on Honeymoon Island and we were ready to order and hungry.. then the cashier says Grill is closed.. get a snack, all there was chips and other things. We left right there.. just horrible...

I wholeheartedly recommend Honeymoon Island to any serious beachgoer. These white sandy beaches are unmatched in central Florida. The organization that oversees the preservation of this jewel, Friends of Honeymoon Island, should be commended for their work

Keep it natural. Best Lobster rolls in Dunedin.The staff is so helpful. The view of the beach, the Gulf of Mexico, the Dolphins, and sunsets all first class.
