My family and I are from out of town. We needed an Asian resturant to get fast food service and decided on Asian Buffet and Grill. The food was decent: it had a good grill and selection of food. However; our server was HORRIBLE. Prior to communicating with our server, we left a 12% gratitude tip on the table as she started to clean up. When she noticed her tip, she disagreed and demanded a 20% gratitude tip from us. We clearly disagreed because barely did she stop by our table to provide us water, remove plates or check-in to see how we were doing. The only time she stopped by to refill our waters were right before we were done eating. Yes, I get it. When your family is a party of 10+, you should likely put a tip of 20%. This server however; barely assisted us and collectively as a family, we decided that she did not deserve a 20% tip. As she demanded her 20% tip, I mentioned to her of her poor customer service skills and the tip policy of the resturant. She made no comment to this and still referred to us giving her 20% tip. Disagreeing, I asked for her manager who she stated that the resturant did not have a manager at the moment and that the place was ran by hostesses and servers. This was a complete lie because the manager was at the front. As I retold our issue to the manager, she supported a no tip policy and mentioned that we could put as much as we desired. We requested half of our tip money back and immediately left the reaturant. Never ever demand and oblige tip from your customers esp. if you barely check in with them. From this bad experience, I hope this resturant figures out: 1. Who is the manager in the moment of service hours, 2. Teach servers to be kind and respectful, 3. Know who your employees names are, and 4. Align collectively with what the tip policy is.

1. I came here tonight purely for their Mongolian Grill. I was craving it forever and was excited. When I went to make myself a plate, they had taken up the entire Mongolian Buffet portion of the restaurant. The restaurant still had an hour and forty minutes before they closed. When we asked for them to just make one plate of noodles and chicken because thats what we came for, they easily said "no." 2. Dirty, dirty, dirty. 3. The waitresses wouldnt serve us drinks and the three of them got upset at us for walking up and asking for a refill. Im pregnant and really needed some water. 4. I got a mouthful of glass cleaner that they were spraying right in front of me, right behind me and beside me. Again, being a pregnant woman, its not healthy to be consuming windex. It was so much, I felt her spraying it from behind me and it blowing on to my face. 5. Finally, they cleaned up my table before I was finished, took my water and thats when we just left. Conclusion, I am usually very happy if the people who work there are just nice, even if the service is bad. I was not happy at all. It was a complete waste. I dont know how they are still in business.

The Wife and I eat here every week; it has become our favorite Chinese food buffet. NOT the greatest Chinese food place, mind you; but for $6.99 (lunch) you will get more than your moneys worth. No MSG is a big selling point; The Wife cant tolerate it. The food is quite palatable; as a vegeatrian I always find a wide selection to eat. The sauteed spinach with mozzerella is my favorite. Healthy choices like steamed vegetables, bok choy, rice noodles and a salad bar abound. The Wife (not a veggie) likes the boneless spare ribs, fried chicken wings and wonton soup. Great dessert selection too; five flavors of ice cream (pistachio is our fav), fresh fruits, puddings and cakes. The restaurant is clean enough, though they do need to remodel the bathrooms. Very few quibbles; the sushi bar and some of the buffet selections could be labled better (trying to figure out which sushi is which can be problematic). People who complain and post one star reviews should spend the extra dollars to eat at a more refined establishment. For those of us on a budget this $7 lunch (soft drinks extra, but Im good with the free hot tea and ice water) is just fine.

Cockroaches everywhere! This place was recently shut down by the Florida health dept for LIVE ROACHES in food areas (Sept 2012). Its buffet food and its not terribly good but theres lots of it. They have a great selection and the price is also quite good, but did I mention the health violations? Ive eaten here a few times and it sickens me to think that all of these filthy insects were infesting the restaurant and potentially getting into my food. Heres the health depts stop work order as published in the newspaper: "Critical. Observed dead roaches on premises. 1 adult in a pan of green onion roots in the kitchen on the cooks line. 2 adults in a closed dining room. 3 adults in benches in the dining room." "Critical. Observed roach activity as evidenced by live roaches found, 13 in benches along the wall in the dining room. Only able to check 5 out of 22 booths due to customers being seated." "Critical. Stop Sale issued due to adulteration of food product. onion roots." Was this place a decent option for decent food at a relatively low price? Yes. But will I ever go there again after these blatant violations? Not a chance.

This place has got to be the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. Where is the health department? First I stopped in the bathroom, on my way there the smell coming from the kitchen smelled like death! Then went to the food area, well where do I start? The shrimp was black! Looked spoiled and gross! I couldnt even believe they had it sitting there. After seeing that I told my husband I didnt want to stay because everything looked rotten!! No joke! We then approached the hibachi area thinking well maybe this will be fresh and we would be safe. Well the shrimp looked ok the steak had some pieces that were turning black and some the looked ok all mixed in together. The broccoli was spoiled growing brownish/black mold on it. The grill where the cook your food??? Ughhh disgusting!! It looked like it hasnt been cleaned in months. Old dry crusted dripping is all over the grill inside and the side you can see from standing outside looking in. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to this disgusting place, should be shut down!

Excellent for the price! 7.99 for dinner on weekdays, 8.99 on weekends. Great selection of standard chinese food and salad bar. What really made me love this place is the sushi bar. They have real sushi, not the crap filled with cream cheese like most buffets. Salmon, tuna and eel sashimi and 10+ rolls to choose from (sashimi at dinner only). They also have a hibachi grill where you can order exactly what you want, dim sum, soups, appitizers, and dessert bar. The waitstaff was attentive, always quickly clearning our plates and refilling drinks when they dipped below half. The decor is also open, light, and clean (unlike many buffets) and the bathrooms were fine. They also have a private party room. Parking can be a little difficult because of a publix nextdoor (we went the night before Thanksgiving), but that will certainly not deter us from returning.
