Yuga has a very similar menu to sister restaurant Lan Pan Asian. Food is good and service is excellent. We were a large group of 11 women meeting on a Tuesday. We were the only one of maybe 2 or 3 tables that were occupied at 7 pm. The food is mainly a mix of Asian with Thai, Chinese, Japanese. We were all able to park (metered) on the street by the restaurant and its very quiet and safe. When it came time for the bill, the waitress had printed out a single bill and she saw that we were going to split it up and offered to make individual checks for each of us! We were pleasantly surprised and agreed that would be a good idea. We would go back.

Best way to enjoy this restaurant is to skip the larger plates and instead order five or six smaller items (appetizers or rolls) per couple and maybe a soup. The combination of flavors will combine into a feast greater than the sum of its (excellent) parts Then again the same can be said about its two sister restaurants: Sushin Izakaya which serves hard to find authentic Japanese small plates in a fun ambiance and Lan , a Pan-Asian mix, both of which have been consistently serving great food for many years.

The food is authentic and delicious. The service is good, but the reason to go is the food. After living in Japan for some time, there were dishes I, to my chagrin, could not find here in the States. That is, until I found Yuga. My favorite is the chicken katsu curry, which is not only tastes exactly as it did i Tokyo, but is made from scratch unlike the few other restaurants in Miami that even serve it. Also, the fish is fresh and the selection impressive. I highly recommend.
