Its was just one of those Saturday mornings where not a pancake or egg was being turned over by this momma. Having tried practically every breakfast place within a ten mile radiance of our house except for this one we decided to check it out. Everything was you want when you go to diner. We were greeted by The Don (really nice lady greeting the door, holding down the countertop, and checking everyone out) she makes sure your service is superior. Not that it isnt; at Taste of The City they have team service. We met every server working the floor! The next one just as pleasant as the first! Our server was AMAZING she guided us through the menu and didnt do us wrong. We went with her recommendation of the Country fried steak and an order of onion rings as a side to the Chicago dog we ordered. All of the plates we ordered were solid to their origin! With solid food, great service, and a clean atmosphere; theres no reason why your not heading over to these super good eats!! **i will update this review with our servers name when I head back!

I came in hungry and left full. I saw this place driving by and thought that Im hungry, I might, as well, try it out. I was greeted as soon as I came in. The server was very friendly. I sat at the bar top. I ordered chicken and waffles even though they didnt have that on the menu. I didnt have to sit long for the food. The waffles was awesome and the chicken tasted good. I will say it wasnt a true chicken n waffles due to they didnt have chicken breast only chicken tenders but I was hungry and both together was not bad. The service I received was amazing, I will be coming back of not just for that plus the food.

Best kept secret for breakfast in Cooper City/Davie. If you enjoy the "hole in the wall" cafe (this is NOT Dennys), this is a GREAT value for you. The food is good and prepared fresh to order. The service is good and the place has a nice country feel to it. SUPER VALUE = TWO BREAKFAST SPECIALS WITH COFFEE FOR UNDER $7.59. Enjoy!

Owner has her favorites when it comes to where to sit, which is annoying as hell. Food is fresh, however compared to other local breakfast places portions are rather small... Oneday, i hope, the owner invests in fixing her A/C system, because the place is always hot.. One a 1-10 i give this place a 7.....

This little café offers great service with some great food. The atmosphere is one of a hometown place, and immediately when walking in you feel very comfortable. The food is very much like what your mom would make. This café is a great find. I highly recommend it.

It was crowded which is a good sign. The gyro platter was about what I expected and was tasty. My sons breakfast 3-2-1 looked great. I like a local brunch place like this. Its nice and friendly and home town style. They have beer and mimosas too.
