Horrible!! Went in on a Friday evening during prime dining time and the place was dead. I soon found out why. Everything was overpriced, so I ordered the Korean Shrimp & Chicken Soup Bowl (at $10). Ive had a variety of instant noodle-bowl soups that were better than this. Despite the menu saying rice noodles it only contained (a ton of) regular spaghetti and not much else. The hot peppers were burnt and tasted like crap (the waitress explained "just pick them out - thats what most people do"), and after after also complaining that I didnt see any shrimp in it I was told "the chef put in 4 shrimps - if you dont find them let me know" (there was ONLY four quarter-sized shrimps in the whole dish). The only vegetables in the soup was a few green onions. It was one of the cheapest dishes and at $10 for this crap Ive gotten more sustenance and flavor from instant noodle bowls costing $1. The wife ordered a beef noodle dish that wasnt any better. We felt ripped off but no one there cared. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

As much as I love Akina, I dont think I will be back anytime soon, I ordered the sweet and Sour chicken and it came out breaded instead of fried, it was for my 6 year old son who didnt like it and took one bite of it. I asked our waiter Jason if I could get Teriyaki chicken instead, a few minutes later the owner came out and asked very rudely which child didnt like to chicken, I pointed to my six year old son she then very rudely said she would take the meal off and would not be making another one and walked away. I didnt ask for the meal to be taken off I just wanted my son to be able to eat. On a brighter note Jason our server was awesome.

Sushi in Central Florida? YES...This is the place to go! I come here at least once a month & it is delicious. Vegetable Spring Rolls come on a bed of shredded sweet potato crunchies that you will find yourself picking at. They have a specialty roll called The Fireball Roll which is amazing. It has cooked scallop, cream-cheese, kimchi, & then the whole thing is lightly breaded & fried; get it with a small side of eel sauce for dipping. I also get a slightly modified California Roll (No Avocado, Add Peaches, & Cream-Cheese on the inside). I call it the Gerty Roll, in my head, for the person who first ordered it with me.

Me and my best friend are like hard sushi critics... We always go to the same place... Weve been trying to try new places and I happened to pick this one just by chance. We had the lava roll ,Incredible Hulk roll, locomotive roll, and another I cant remeber off the top of my head. Lord have mercy there wasnt a damn thing that I didnt like which for me and her we always find something we didnt like... They will NOT DISAPPOINT YOU. Even when we asked for tons of extra spicy mayo out other fave place charges us they didnt!!! This place it just hands down amazing!!!

My wife and I decided to go here for our anniversary dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Teriyaki chicken. Came out on a sizzling skillet. We ordered 4 different sushi rolls (fireball, volcano, avocado and revolution roll) each of them was delicious and beautifully presented. This isnt the cheapest resturant youll visit but it is well worth the money. The only down side is it was a little warm in the resturant. (Thats literally the only negative thing I have to say about it) Highly recommended.

Great food, PAINFULLY SLOW service. Went on a Friday night, to be fair, so it was busy, but we were here for 90 minutes for dinner (only about 15 minutes of this time was waiting for a table). Way too long! I think of this place every time I get a hankering for chinese food but then I remember how slow this place is and end up going somewhere else.

Excellent, fresh and very tasty sushi. House rolls are spectacular - some of the best Ive had anywhere. In an area dominated by fast food joints youd expect a decent sushi places to stand out, but this place was over the top by any standard. Staff was very attentive. Sorry were only here for the week or Id be a regular here for sure.

Not so much...restaurant not busy, host tried to seat us at dirty table when clean one was right next to dirty one. Server was very unconcerned throughout, we waited almost 45 minutes for four rolls while sushi chef made to go orders. Sushi was decent but tuna was tough. Two beers and four rolls for 80 bucks. Will not go again.

I tried to order takeout from here. I told them my name and she refused to serve me. I thought she was joking. I had never ordered from this restaurant before and thought it was very rude she assumed I was this person. She told me that they have someone with my same name that takes her food back bc she complains everytime.

Better than Morimoto in Disney! This place is authentic to the bone. No Latinos working the wok- 100% Japanese and you can tell in the flavor. The food can stand alone but add in the atmosphere, great staff and all of the small details on the plates makes this a 5 Star Review. This place deserves an award, dont miss out!

Akina features an extensive sushi menu. Sushi was good, it ranks up there with some great sushi, not the best Ive had though. All a bit on the pricey side. Ambience is nice, and the service was excellent. I mean excellent. Our server was the star of our visit. I recommend Akina as solid sushi experience in Clermont.

The sushi was delicious. I also had the miso soup and the calamari, and each was the best Ive had before. The waitress was excellent, and Ive never eaten at a sushi restaurant that got its food out so fast. My only regret is that Im vacationing here, and cant eat here regularly.

Best sushi in the area! Weve been all over, and Akinas sushi is always top notch. The fish is fresh, the service is (usually) outstanding and the house is clean. The service can get a bit spotty if they have a large, unexpected crowd, but typically the service is top-notch!

Great with the exception that they served me tap water and their miso yaki was rather undercooked, the bones bothered me whereas in their unagi it does not, Im sure it was a one time thing. All of their nigiri is fantastic, Ill be back to try more entrees.

Love this place I actually come here all the time with my fiancé and we walked in at 8:45 and they refused to serve me. Said they were closed. They close at 9 and I am very aware of that (being that I come often) very disappointed. -Alyssa Tueros

Our favorite Asian restaurant period. The sushi is exceptionally fresh and the rice is also nearly perfect. The wait staff is also unusually nice and attentive. Perhaps the definitive sushi experience in Florida at least in terms of food quality.

Great lunch specials that are very filling and delicious. Also have very fresh spring rolls. Their sweet and sour chicken is not what you want to get if you are used to Pei Wei or typical asian restaurants. Definitely go for lunch though.
