My husband and I were looking for a good breakfast, something off the beaten path, and we certainly found it here. I had the coconut French toast and it was very tasty, the bacon was crisp, not black. My husband had the chef special omelet, packed with sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.. The service was top notch, our server greeted several customers by name, showing that its a good locals spot. I loved the decor, it was beach themed without being touristy beachy. Ill be coming back, especially to enjoy the outdoor patio with my dog, who is allowed on a leash. Thanks for a great breakfast!!

I eat lunch here with my kids at least once a week! We love it! The food is great, breakfast/lunch menu is comparable to First Watch, but with way cheaper prices. My favorite is the turkey grill melt. Their fries & chips are home made and delicious. But you also have the option to have fruit as your side. I cant say enough about the staff, they always make me feel at home. Friendly, but not fake. Food comes out fast & fresh. Very baby/kid friendly. I highly recommend Sea Star cafe! (They also have outside seating for nice days and people with dogs.)

This is a great place to eat. Everyone inside is courteous, helpful, and kind. This is a small, family-ran eating establishment and it shows! While I was there the waitress addressed about 3/4 of the people by first name because they come back that often. Thats a lot of regular customers. The food is excellent (!!!) and very fairly priced. I hope that I can come back down to Bradenton, and if I do these folks will never get rid of me!

What a disappointment! They have new owners and although the menu has the same items the food is NOT the same. The server did not understand me (I dont speak Spanish) and brought me the wrong food. They did fix me a replacement but I wont be going back there again. I would suggest that the new owners quit trying to fix what the previous owners did since it is obvious that the new owners dont understand the food items.

What hidden gem this place was for my girlfriend and I to stop into for a quick lunch! One of the best Reubens Ive had ever! The service was great, and the resturaunt was very clean and well cared for.. We just moved to the neighborhood amd will definitely be popping in again. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast or lunch in the area..

Feb.5,2015 Wife & I order three omelets , the worse (these people cant cook) we ask for a light and flurry. Came out BR OWN AND OVER COOKED.Dont order the omelets!. If the cook keep the phone out of his ear maybe........ We been there three or four time and it was great, but I dont think well be back .

If youre looking for a place with great food, fun atmosphere and reasonable pricing this is the place. The cafe is locally owned and is a great experience. Oh, and their muffins are DELICIOUS!

Very comfortable and cozy atmosphere with friendly helpful staff! The menu recently added a few Venezuelan dishes. Amazing!!! Definitely a keeper on the regular visit list! :-))
