There was some confusion about my reservation, but the gracious staff were able to put together a High Tea for me anyway! The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices are affordable especially considering the quantity and quality of what is served. The savory part of the tea service was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the spinach and mushroom quiche. The scone with Devonshire cream was also excellent. I tried the tea of the day, which was iced Hibiscus & Strawberry, and it was refreshing. A pot of hot Vanilla Chai was a perfect complement to the fresh fruit and sweets part of the service. Everyone was very friendly, and I had a fantastic time. I cant wait to go back and bring my mom, daughter and grandmother! Tabitha was especially awesome, she gave me a little tour of the event rooms and a run down of the types of events she hosts. Wonderful place!

Tucked away in adorable downtown Auburndale, the Magnolia Tea Room was exactly what I was looking for: a locally owned, unique establishment away from the theme parks. My wife and I had a quiet and intimate lunch with delicious, reasonably priced food and amazing holiday themed iced tea (which we then purchased to take home). Our waitress, Missy, had only worked there for two months but seemed more like she came with the place when the owners bought it. I would not have been surprised if the china and silverware had started singing and dancing whenever she walked into the room. All of the staff were extremely friendly and genuinely happy to have us there. I was reluctant to write this review because this is the type of establishment you want to keep to yourself but, at the same time, you want them to do well and stay in business for a long time.

Im from out of town & every time I am here visiting my family I must come here! The menu has a nice selection. Tried a few different items & all were delicious. I noticed a few new items & looking forward to trying them. They always have a nice special. Their scones are tge best! Always order to go. its a wonderful little place with the cutest decor. There is a nice shop where you can purchase some beautiful items. The service there is wonderful! You are greeted with a smile & the staff has been very friendly. The chef even came out to our table one time & I was able to compliment him on the dish.. Highly recommend this place, been to couple of other tea rooms in surrounding area & this one is the best!

The chef is the only reason I continue to return. The food is fantastic...other than the obnoxious amount of bacon. Service is terrible. Staff seems insincere. Takes at least 20 minutes to receive service after being seated (with some pleasant exceptions) even with a reservation. The problem has continued several times and will probably never be resolved as they do not carry enough staff to prioritize every customer.

Love this place! I went there today for a 5 year olds birthday party and had never been there before. My daughter went dressed up in her princess gown and was able to accessorize with all the hats, boas and fairy wings in their trunk.. the kids table was dressed up so cute, what an awesome idea! The food was awesome and the service was great! Thanks, Tabitha for your hospitality. Well be back =)

Beautiful day for outdoor lunch with family. Everything we ordered was exceptional. Love this quaint bistro. Today my father, husband, and grandson joined the girls for outdoor lunch all the men were very happy with food and service. Even have play area for my grandson. He stayed entertained without any worries. Great little spot... best scones around!

Sweet Magnolias.... Where do I even begin? I have Never had a bad visit! Their food is always TO DIE FOR! the ladies who work there are always the Sweetest! Scones may be the best Ive ever had. The entree I had ("The Floridaian") was tasty, but too salty. I could visibly see salt on the asparagus, which I didnt eat for that reason. It may be to cater to the local pallet. Otherwise, an incredible spot. A true oasis in Polk!

LOVE this place! It was beautiful, inside and out. All kinds of charming gifts, the food was delicious (I especially enjoyed the Blackberry Sage tea), and the service was excellent! I look forward to visiting again the next time I am in the area. Simply wonderful!

Anytime I am in Auburndale, this little piece of perfection is one of our "Go To" places. Love the decor, but the service is what brings us back! Cheery, kind, and always there to make sure your visit is perfect. Love it!

Good experience, tea of the day was very good. I had the Cheesy Chicken Crisp recommended by the waitress, very good. If you park in the back you need to walk around to the front of the building to enter. Enjoy!
