This place is awful! I was visiting DC and really looking forward to all the new places that Id get to dine at, thinking of what the food culture of the area was like. This was the third place Id dined at in DC, and it was starting to look like it had no culture. The first thing that stands out is that service is terrible. I practically had to stand up and light a signal flare to indicate that Id finished my beer, and that I would like another. I cant distinctly remember what I order (some noodle thing with chicken), but I definitely remember how long it felt to get it in front of me. Luckily, it wasnt cold and tasted reasonable. The price didnt seem to justify how average it was, though. After Id finished my meal, I wanted nothing more than to get away from this place. My suffering was prolonged with yet another unjustified wait for my check and then for my card to be swiped. All the while, it appears as if my waitress is talking to what appears to be regular customers (not for orders, mind you). If youre a tourist like I was, steer clear. There are plenty of better places to go in DC. You just have to dig a little bit harder than you may be accustomed to.

Went there for an early dinner and it was bad from the start to finish. There seemed to be only one waitress working the main floor and outside. Appetizers took very long to get, and once we got them the cheese items were all out cold and other items like the chicken tenders lukewarm. The waitress kept walking on by and was hard to get to. The food took about an hour to get after the appetizers, and my burger was ok. My parents despised the fish sandwich, and only ate half of it because we were starving at that point. During the whole time the waitress didnt keep our drinks filled. I dont mind waiting for food for a while, but at least keep the customer informed and know were still important to the establishment . Didnt apologize, and when we fought the check received a lot of fight about it. Nice atmosphere, but food and service are so lackluster it isnt worth it.

Great food. This place is always packed. There is always a lively crowd in here. Great people. Awesome interactions. Very affordable compared to the places I have been. They have great drink specials. The food did take a while to come out after we ordered but it was really busy. You walk in here and its like everyone has known everyone for years. If you live in the DMV then you need to try this place out, you will definitely love it.

Great place to watch games, but I would hardly say "roomy". As a standard sports bar in DC it would be nicely sized, but this one is too popular for its own good; theres often no room at all!! During football season its both a broncos and seahawks meetup location, so on Sunday afternoons if you get there at game time you may not even have room to stand. I LOVE this place but it would great if they could find a way to expand!

We were told to try this place out by a local who knows the area. The burgers were SO good and the service was great. Very crowded but a fun atmosphere and the food came out very fast despite the crowd. Lots of TVs and a good bar. We have a 4 year old and were the only ones with a kid, so keep in mind that its not exactly a family restaurant but it was definitely still a good stop.

Food is O.K. but the deal breaker is the service. I have been here twice now and both times our waitress was not attentive, and never stopped back to see how the food was (which turned out not to be since they didnt bring us the correct order...). There is a Starbucks next door where you might have more success getting a sandwich, even if its a bacon egg and cheese!

Plenty of TVs to cater to the sports junkie, but it can also get pretty loud and crazy in here on certain game days. Food is typical sports bar food. Nothing horrible, but nothing worth spending the time to write about either. Service is decent for as busy as they can sometimes get and if theres a big game on, get there early or else youll be standing the whole time.

Not sure if this place has recently been renovated, but I was amazed at how clean, fresh, and orderly this place was. Great seating outside and a fun bar upstairs. Food was very tasty (especially for a "sports bar") with some great soups. Jambalaya was a huge portion and just the right amount of spice. Bartenders and servers were all very nice and helpful to tourists.

Take out service was fast, so thats gets a star. However, I had a Chicken Caeser Salad and it was just as Kates review had put it. Below average, especially for the price and location. Dry chicken and hardly and of it. There was also not a lot of lettuce. Dissappointing salad during my lunch break and I would not order a salad from there again.

One of the few bars around the archive/Chinatown area that has outdoor patio seating. And theyre dog friendly which is a big plus for me! Aside from that, the service and the food is fine and they offer happy hour deals on drinks. Ill choose to go grab drinks here after work more times than not when the weather is nice.

Was terrible food. The gyro was made like a taco and not good at all. They couldnt get my friends order right after 3 times so ended up not even eating. My BBQ steak sandwich was so salty I couldnt even enjoy any of it. The waitress never came back to ask how the meal was, and never apologized for any of the mistakes.

Great for a downtown happy hour or a bite before a show.. The burgers are a highlight and must try if you go. When in the area go back and check out dinner and let me know what you think. Didnt want a place Id have to feel dressed up. I had on shorts and a tee shirt and fit right in. Sat at the bar, great service, good drinks. Ordered a Black and Blue Burger with Fries. Pretty decent ½ pound burger with haystack onion rings. All in all just the right place with pretty good food. Id go back.

Stopped for an early dinner because it was close to all of the museums and it was pretty good. Server didnt come around too much to check on us but he was pleasant. Burgers could be considered a bit pricey but they were good enough to be worth it. Definitely would stop in again if I come back to D.C.

We went for brunch, a beer and to watch football. Downstairs there was only one waitress and she seemed annoyed anytime we asked for anything. I understand with too many servers and not enough customers they dont make any money, but a 2nd would have been great. The food and beer were both great.

While visiting DC, my friends and I dropped by Penn Quarter. While it was nothing special, there was a very lively crowd and the drink prices were reasonable. Our waitress was quite slow, but it was a busy night for the bar. If youre going out to watch a game, this is a great spot.
