Was in D.C. for the weekend and hungry for dinner. Live in Nc and have been to the original Fuel Pizza in downtown Charlotte. Was surprised to find one in D.C. The food was just as good. Wish they played the Wheres Waldo? game like they do down here tho!....The walls of Fuel in Charlotte are covered in all sorts of antique gas station decor and I mean LITTERED, every wall everywhere, floor to ceiling! They hide a small Waldo doll within the clutter. If you can find Waldo (which you never will, Ive tried several times) you get your meal for free!

Before the Caps game, my significant other and I planned to go to the Green Turtle but found it was jam packed. We decided to try out the little pizza place across the street and werent disappointed. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was served extremely fast. We got pizza and wings, and both items tasted good. My only complaint if I had one is that the place was a little warm. The decor is pretty cool too. Glad we gave it a try.

Excellent place to stop and get my lunch when Im at my DC office. The pizza is awesome (with crispy crust, my fave!) and the garlic knots are another starter for me. If I had a complaint, it would be the lids for the soda. They do not fit properly - only a mm or two off, but just enough that you have to force it on for dear life, and if you grab the cup wrong, the lid will pop. Not conducive to walking and drinking (soda).

Employee delivered my food to the wrong table. The other table picked off of it and tasted it before realizing it was wrong and returning it. I watched them re-bag the food and attempt to serve it to me. After I pointed it out to the man in charge, he acknowledged it but offered no apology. This is disgusting. They re-made my food and seemed proud to announce it was "fresh now". I will never go back.

Do not go to this fuel location!! They messed up our order during the Super Bowl, closed earlier than it said they would on their own website, and gave us about half of our food--I suspect the staff had assumed they were done for the night and ate some of it before they realized we were picking it up.

Good pizza and laid back atmosphere and excellent gluten free pizza which is a huge discriminator if youre celiac. But the fifth star is for customer service. We we met with a friendly greeting, served well, and we were chased down the street when we left a backpack accidentally

Great pizza. Our family got the Super Large extreme meet pizza. Since the weather was nice in late afternoon we ate outside while people watching. The firefighters across the street were all outside doing the same. Nice casual place to relax and eat.

As a vegetarian, I cant vouch for the wings but the pizza was good. The garlic knots were delicious. They had a few decent beers (Star Hill IPA on draft and some ok bottles). The service was friendly but a little slow and disorganized.

I go here for the wings - very crispy and generously sized! Pizza is solid as well. Fuel is my go-to pregame spot for Capitals games at the Verizon Center...much better than the sh!tshow at The Green Turtle across the street.

Loved the pizza and wings. It was so good my wife and I ate a whole large pie and a double order of wings. Arnetta was friendly and awesome with a good sense of humor! I probably would have given only 4 stars without her.

Good atmosphere, super-friendly staff, and above-average greasy pizza. Had a good meal, and both my wife and I got full from a large pie, with our only complaint being that the prices were a little higher than we expected.

I just called to place an order for a gluten free pizza and the lady working was incredibly rude about my request and then hung up on me halfway through my order. Very poor customer service. Do not recommend.

Nice big pizzas with good flavor. The wings are also good. Nothing too remarkable to say except that this is a solid place to get wings and pizza. The prices are reasonable if not a little high.

They were a "little" slow on our order ( We didnt think so...) and went above and beyond and gave us a free pizza for our kids. Great service and SUPER people! Pizza was great too!

Im sitting outside and was here at 10:50 and they have the doors locked. If your hours are til midnight, keep the damn doors open til midnight. We made a trip to DC for nothing.
