HEADLINE: The service sucks here! I live and work within two blocks of this place. So, I am there 3-4 times a week for a breakfast snack of lunch. The pizza is so-so. The service has never been friendly.. but I’ve finally had it. Today, I placed my order along the line at the counter. It was simply two slices of pizza. The line was long and kept moving toward the register. Still no pizza as I made it to the register. I paid, expecting my order any minute. I even said to the cashier, “I think he forgot about my pizza.” She looked back and then on to the next customer. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. I finally told the cashier again. She looked. My pizza was given to someone else. She placed to more slices in the over. By this point, I had been waiting 10 minutes. I kept waiting. My slices were again given to someone else. I finally caught another employee who helped a take out customer and told him I wanted my money back. He rushed to put two more slices in. By that point, it was 14 minutes (yes I was counting at this point). I told him no… I wanted my refund. He looked at my like I was crazy. He said it was busy. LOL Yeah.. I know. I was there 14 minutes ago ordering and never for the order. I looked at him and said… “I don’t care. I never got my order. I want my money back.” Service quite simply sucks here. I felt like I was a bother. In these tough times, businesses and their employees need to appreciate more than people are spending money. I won’t here.

Its not the best pizza Ive ever had but its certainly not the worst. The problem with DC as a whole is that there really arent any _GREAT_ pizza places. The stuff here is a bit greasy but you can easily take it up with a napkin. The key to this area as a whole (TONS of businesses so every restaurant, food truck, and the like are going to be busy around noon) is waiting till down times. If you go at the back half of noon, 1 or 2 you should be just about the only customer. Ive never had any of the aforementioned service issues here. Also, these slices are VERY generous and at a very affordable (for DC) price at about 3 bucks a pop. Also of note: This location is inaccurate. The actual location is just off the corner of K and 15th, near Landmark Document Services.

As soon as I entered, I was waited on by a very attentive , patient and friendly server. The pizza is delicious, very authentic. I come from NY and this is the closest you can get to good NY pizza. There is a large selection of different flavored gelatos. Again, the gelato is very delicious and excellent quality. This particular Pizza Autentica is under new management. The service is superb and the food delicious. I highly recommend it.

I had some concerns given the previous ratings, but I ordered a stuffed pizza with pepperoni and sausauge and it was very good. It was also huge! If you are looking for a gourmet pizza, I wouldnt recommend it, but compared to your average chain it is quite good. I called in an order on a Weds night and it was only a few minutes wait when I arrived. Service was okay too. Quiet, but friendly.

I think their pizza is much better than pizza in New York. I had a slice of the Works which was so delicious. It was perfectly cooked and the veggies and meat on the pizza were fresh. I tried their gelato which was also very good. I highly recommend this place to everybody as a great lunch spot.

We were only in town for less than a week, but we stopped here twice. Once for a few slices for dinner and then again for just gelato. Did I mention the gelato, not something you expect at a pizza joint, but I dont think there are any bad menu options here.

Two slices of pizza $9.50 with a small apple juice. Way over priced and did they forget to cut on the heat. But the staff is very friendly and the store is clean. Over all a good place to get a quick slice.
