Great sushi, nice wait staff, and beautiful decor. We came here on a weekday night, about 20-25 minutes before closing expecting to be turned away or greeted with rude customer service, but we were pleasantly surprised! The sushi chefs and waitress were both very nice and accommodating. They insisted that we take our time and they didnt make us feel as if we were being an inconvenience by coming so close to closing time. It was our first time and we definitely plan to return. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I didnt have the full experience (normal hours, full menu, other guests in restaurant), I will provide an update upon my second visit.

Really enjoy the Hairy Mexican. They also have a great staff. Every time Jordan M, a take out worker we have used often, sees my mother, and I in the restaurant he is sure to say hello, and makes our stay more warm/welcoming. We met him threw Mikimotos, when a fellow staff worker did not open the door, and he ran right up to escort us in the restaurant. The little things like that sometimes make the whole expierance worth while! P.S the only flaw is some of the servers absolutely suck!

The only reason I do not rate this as a 4 or 5-star is the service. I have been a few times and each time it takes at least 10 minutes for the server to come to our table, even when they are not busy. Also, the last time I was there, they gave my table away that I was waiting 15 minutes for! The sushi is very good, however, and that is the only reason I have gone back - one tip is sit at the bar, they cant ignore you there.

Went for my sisters birthday and was pleasantly surprised at how great the experience was. I doesnt look like much on the outside, but the decor inside was really lovely. There are pictures of cartoon/anime characters on the wall which we enjoyed. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. We ordered sushi and a few hot plates and everything was great. I recommend the Sunrise Roll. All in all it was a great experience.

I often visit Mikimotos for the chicken teriyaki with white rice and beans. I want really a fan of string beans until I came here and now, I ask them to pile them high! Theres a BOGO sushi happy hour special that is available only in the smaller room and at the bar, which fill up fast, so get there as close to 5:00 PM as you can! Parking is hit or miss so youre better off walking from the office if you can.

The food is exceptional. Pricey, but totally worth it if you are a sushi fan. They have tons of special rolls to choose from, incredible appetizers and mixed drinks, FRESH fish, and the service is also good. The environment is a bit dark, but very stylish and swanky. This is a favorite spot to hit for special occasions or weekend dinner dates. If I lived closer I would even eat there for lunch!!

I went to mokimotos and had a good dinner with a friend. We relocated from the bar to the long couches and had a bottle of wine. We went outside to smoke a cigarette and the ultra rude waitress working in the lounge area chased us or the door by asking us to "leave a credit card so we dont run out on our bill". My dates purse and phone were one the table still. Way to finish the night!

What an amazing end of a workday. On a business trip here I have tried many sushi restaurants (3 others) Mikimotos takes first place. Tom Yum soup was filled with shrimp and mushrooms side of Kim chi onions, main course Crazy tuna and Miami Heat rolls. Stacy Y was the friendliest waitress and her recommendations were spot on! Give this place a try. Nicely lit and great food selection.

Nice decor. Ordered the rib starter which came in thick dark sauce. Very tasty. For the entree I had The drunken general chicken which was excellent. For dessert the tempura brownie with vanilla ice cream and topped with a caramel sauce. The portions were large so took about half of each dish home(even the dessert). Service was prompt and my waiter was very attentive.

Un buen Japones en Wilminton, producto fresco y de calidad. Evidentemente no es barato, pero tampoco tiene unos precios astronomicos. De lo mas animado en el centro de la ciudad.

Nicolas was the best server that I have ever encountered, he was very knowledgeable and had an amazing personality, along with and awesome staff. The head chef welcomed me to Delaware be giving us complimentary sushi rolls on the house....I am forever indebted and will make sure to always mention this restaurant as my number one spot in Delaware.

Although the service was excellent, the food was absolute a disappointment. We each ordered a lunch Bentobox. The California rolls were ugly and mushed. Both the chicken nuggets and the fried dumplings were cold, dry and bland. The brown rice was dry and hard. The main dish was just so-so. We would not order the Bentobox ever again.

Love everything about Mikimotos. Have been going there for 10 years. The sushi is phenominal. It puts sushi restaurants in Philadelphia and Baltimore to shame. Only downfall- there is only one. Its about a 30+ minute drive from my house and the parking can be difficult. Get there early so you can drive around for at least 15mins

Nice staff. Cool restaurant. Nice Decor. Average food.. Was disappointed a couple times. Pho taste like canned beef stock with noodles and scallions. The lobster dumplings are delicious. Probably my fav thing on the menu. Slightly pricey for dinner but lunch is reasonable. Its cool they play inuyasha on the televisions.

Nice decor and friendly staff but very disappointed with the food. Sushi rolls were bland and didnt taste fresh. Pad Thai not good at all, very salty with lack of flavor. Very suprised by the good reviews which led us here. No stars for the food, one star for friendly waitress and one star for nice decor.

Great food, great service, nice selection of Sake, the Green Caterpillar rolls were great and their calamari was perfectly done with an excellent sauce, dessert was especially wonderful, the Brownie Sunday and Banana Tokens were great. But whats with the anime stuff? Seriously, Japan isnt anime.

Average sushi, terribly pretentious hostess tried to seat us by the bathroom when other tables were open then tried to claim they were reserved when we had reservations. Dont waste your time, theres MANY other places for better sushi and atmosphere (Jasmine or Potstickers to name two)

Well... It has a cool ambience. Thats it. The wait staff isnt terribly attentive. No one checks to see if youre pleased with your order. Food comes out... 30 minutes later they collect your plate and then bring you the check. Its okay, over priced... Not a place for foodies.

Although slightly loud atmosphere, the food is great. Im a huge sushi lover, and they make the best sushi Ive ever had. During the week from 4-7 they have 2-for-1 sushi at the bar - great deal! The ambiance is very classy and a nice place to bring a few friends or have a date.

The sushi was not good!!! It looked like everything was purred! Ive been to many sushi restaurants and came to this one because of the good reviews, I will never recommend it. Also for the people who like to have a drink with dinner, captain and cokes are $12.50!!
