A Sunday night in August, 2016. Restaurant is about 25% full, if that. Our party of three were seated right away, but did not see our server for 10 minutes. She took the drink order, brought the water pretty quick, but the bar order was about 15 minutes. Then she took our food order, which did not arrive for 25 minutes. She never came by to check after the food was served, we never saw her again until the food was gone. She was very good a disappearing! SERVICE: ZERO STARS for extreme slowness. FOOD: FOUR STARS. The food was hot (when it finally came) and presentation was good, flavors good. But even if the food is good, the service brings this place down. Being owned by the same people as Big Fish Grill, I am surprised because I eat there frequently with little or no problem. UPDATE: Another Sunday night, August 2017. We decided to give this place another try. This experience was MUCH better. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Absolutely no issues. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty. I recommend.

Very disappointing, we were looking forward to our meal but unfortunately it was a very bad meal. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, it was bland and had absolutely no flavor, when the waitress ask if our meal was okay I told her that my dinner was not, she was very nice and took the dish back to the kitchen, the waitress apologized and said that the dish was tasted by the the manager and it was very bland the manager did come over and apologized, I ordered the Chicken Florentine and that was also a disappointment, after waiting another 30 minutes the food was cold, the chicken was very dry and there was a small dab of sauce on the pasta!! We will not be going back to Bella Coast again.

October 3rd, 2015 my family and I came to Bella Coast after finding our original plan had an extremely long wait. We were able to get seated within 5 minutes of walking in the door. We were very happy with our entire experience throughout our visit. Our Server Jamie O was one of the best servers I have ever had dinning out. She had a great personality and made sure to take care of our table of 7 even while helping with a larger table as well. She was also very helpful when trying to decide what to eat for dinner. Our food was incredible! Some of the best Italian food we have had in a long time! Thank you for making our raining day so much brighter!

Not as good as I expected. If you are looking for a hipster place with overpriced bland food, check this place out. It took about 35 minutes to get the appetizer. Then with our meal 10 minutes later the best thing we ordered was the $12 pizza. The spaghetti tasted like a plain hunts can on noodles & I got 6 spinach raviolis (smaller than pierogie s) for $16. It honestly looked like a sampler or appetizer. Makes you wonder what you are paying for. The sauce with that was pretty bland and watered down just like the spaghetti. I was done my meal in about 4 minutes then sat there freezing, waiting for everyone else to be done.

This restaurant is part of the Big Fish Restaurant Group, and having visited and loved both BFGs in Delaware, decided to try this one. The 3 Star Rating is for the Wait Staff, not the cuisine. The Staff are friendly and accommodating and more than make up for the disappointing food. The Chicken Panini was soggy, the Tomato Basil Gnocchi would have been good, if the gnocchi werent so overwhelmingly heavy and Yesterdays Soup isnt "always better the next day" [sic]. However, the Italian Wedge Salad with added Seared Shrimp was delicious and more than enough to make a meal from.

I took my family to Bella Coast for the 1st time last weekend. My dish (penne vodka & chicken) was delicious, but my wife’s dish was bland. I don’t remember what it was, but it was a special. The server took it back and brought her a replacement. The server apologized which wasn’t necessary, but the manager came over and apologized as well. We really appreciated that and it made us feel like our business was valued. I am so impressed with the service, that I am bringing my work team there for dinner this week. Well done!

I wish I had a bigger appetite to try more things out on this menu because I was extremely satisfied with my Penne Chicken Vodka dish and everything else that I saw looked amazing too. First of all the portions are pretty big, so youre getting your moneys worth. Second, the quality was amazing: The chicken was so juicy even though it was fried, and the sauce seemed to explode with flavor with every bite of penne. Make sure not to skip out on the cheesy bread either! One of the best Ive ever ordered at an Italian Restaurant.

The FOOD and atmosphere were great! My family and I enjoy Bella Coast more and more every time we visit. A special thank you to everyone involved from the general manager to the Italian chef(s). I think this going to be my family’s new Italian go to spot. The only thing we really miss is the Enzo Vodka sauce which is no longer available. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!! We are definitely putting the word out and recommend this place. Keep up the great work and thank you!!

Service was really slow. Came with a group of 7 for lunch. My colleague doesnt eat dairy and they brought out his salad with a ton of cheese on it and the server kept saying "this is the one for the person with a dairy allergy". My salad had a bug crawling in it. My other colleagues ravioli had a hair in it (he didnt send it back). Our server was pleasant and professional about all these things, however as this was our first experience, we wont be returning.

Birthday dinner celebration. The food was beautifully prepared. Everything was so very fresh and the flavors - I dont have the words to explain how delicately wonderful they were. The staff are all pleasant and we were most fortunate to have Christine as our server. She made the evening positively perfect. Would highly recommend. The prices are reasonable. Like any restaurant, it costs a bit more if you like to drink. Cant wait til next time.

Food was good, I ordered the Roasted Pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes, and sauteed asparagus. The pork was very moist and tender and a generous cut.Could have used a little more seasoning. The mashed potatoes just melted in your mouth, just a great texture. The asparagus could have been cooked a little longer. I ordered a beer from the menu and sent it back without any problem, it wasnt listed on the menu as a Low Alcohol Beer style.

We arrived around 6:45pm for dinner. There were 3 in my party. We were told there was a 40 minute wait, and clearly there were several empty tables. We ended sitting in bar area at this long table with uncomfortable stools. By the time we had completed our entrees those booths & tables were still empty. ??? My entree chicken marsala didnt have much taste to it. My only compliment would be good service by servers.
