The food is delicious, but the service could use some work. While we were there we waited about 15 minutes to be initially noticed. We ordered once the waitress finally came. We got our food and my order was wrong so I asked if I could just get what my order was missing on the side. It took about 30 minutes for me to get that, which a different waitress brought to me. We didnt see our waitress again for the rest of the night. Finally after waiting about 45+ minutes the hostess checked on us and we asked to see the manager. The manager was rude and made it seem as if our horrible service was our fault. A different waitress gave us our check and when we told her our problems she walked away mumbling stuff and shaking her head. Next as we said something to the manager again while were walking out he yelled at us. It was an awful experience and its a shame because the food is delicious. I really think they should consider firing some of their current servers and hire ones that are friendly and wont forget about their customers. Working as a server, I believe that you should never not tip, but we didnt tip her because it was so bad.

My wife and I went tonight (Friday night) and were seated promptly. There appeared to be busy as would be expected. We sat there for 15 minutes and nobody bothered to acknowledge us. The same waiter walked past our table about 5 times, looked at us and kept walking. We finally got up and left. I spoke to someone that appeared to be the manager and she said she would make sure we are taken care of. I said, "Im sorry, but I will never come back". This is out 3rd time at this establishment. The first time was on New Years Eve. The wait to be seated was more than 45 minutes. The service and food were horrible. I chalked it up to just being busy. We tried again about 8 months later on a Sunday afternoon. They had just opened, so there was hardly any other customers. The food was good and the service was good. So it appears as long as you get there when the place is empty, you should be okay.

My husband, daughter and husband and their 3 kids went early in a Saturday evening. After 90 minutes the kids had eaten and their leftovers were boxed up. The adults had eaten our salads and we were still waiting for entrees to be served. The Caesar salad had radishes and crunchy beets in it. People who came in after us had finished and paid their bills and were leaving. We finally asked for our entrees to be served to go. We asked to speak to a manager but another waitress was sent to speak to us and their were no apologies, no reduction to our bill. A man came out with our entrees to go and told us the order said it had only been 30 minutes, as if we were in the wrong. I will NEVER return to this restaurant, even if my food, when I finally eat it at home, is good. I asked for my entree to be served with angel hair, and I can tell from looking at it that I didnt get what I ordered.

Order was not correct. Took over 20 minutes until server actually showed up to check on us. Our order was missing the meatballs and it took an additional 20 minutes to get them. Didnt see our server for almost 40 minutes. Asked for check and manager. He said they were not able to keep up with the demand because they were busier than usual and we should deal with it. If Im the customer and I am paying they should provide good service and not blame it on me when I dont receive it.I told the manager that I was going on line to voice my opinion and he said they have been in business 35 years and it doesnt matter . It might not matter to him but it matters to me. If you want poor service and rude treatment this place is for you. Would not recommend or return.

One of the best authentic restaurants I have been to in years. The food all tasted like my Italian grandmom spent all day Sunday cooking it for us. The service was even better. They anticipated our every need, even turned down the air for my friend who was cold. The ambiance is beautiful. The fountain which is displayed midroom gives a romantic and peaceful feel with the sound of the water. We felt like we had visited the fountain of youth because during the whole experience we felt so relaxed and rejuvenated. Do yourself a favor, after dinner take a stroll around the restaurant for a real Italian feel. Its Italy....minus the plane ticket. Thanks so much Trevi for an unforgettable experience, we will be back soon!!

My Husband and I dined here on a Thursday night. The food was absolutely, hands down the best and freshest authentic Italian food in Delaware!!! The prices were reasonable, the food was homemade and delicious and the service was remarkable. Our waitress Kelly, even brought the owner, his wife and the head chef to our table for an introduction. I loved the atmosphere!!! Especially the beautiful water fountain located in the middle of the restaurant. The Trevi Fountain is an actual location in Rome which has been in existence since around 1762. I can not extend enough kudos to this fabulous place, staff and chefs. They have found customers for life!!!

EVERYTHING. I LOVE GOING TO TREVIS. THE FOOD IS WONDERFUL AND YOU CAN TELL IT IS MADE FROM LOVE. I moved to Fl. For a couple of years. Didnt like being away from my family so I moved back to De. The 1st. restaurant that I came to eat at was Trevs. I missed it horribly while in Fl. Im a lifetime Trevi fan. LOVE EVERYTHING about Trevis EVERYTHING. 5 OUT OF 5 STARS FROM THE FRONT OF HOUSE TO THE KITCHEN TO THE DINING ROOM AND OUT THE DOOR. TREVIS MAKES FOR A GREAT FAMILY RESTAURANT. We had been there two other times. Once when it fist opened and then about a year latrr. Not impressed when it first opened but a year later it was better. We decided to try it again and we were actually pleasantly surprised. The food has gotten much better. The waitress we had was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was very helpful in decifering the menu so we could make a choice we would be happy with. The service was somewhat slow but the food was correct when it arrived and it was hot. I would recommend this place to someone who was looking for a good Italian restaurant.

Stopped for take out. The food was delicious! Well prepared. Beautiful presentation. And that was take out. I highly recommend the rib eye steak, the fresh zucchini, the spaghetti and meatballs and the garden salad is fantastic!!. The Conollis are out of sight!! Manager and staff are very pleasant and kind. I will definitely order from here often. This is a wonderful place and the food is top of the line. Thank you for a very lovely experience.
