We have visited this deli several times over the last two weeks of vacation. Unfortunately we have mixed reviews. The cheese steaks are great and the subs are pretty good too, but the Italian sausage sandwich was burned to a crisp on the cooked side and the egg salad has little taste other than mayonnaise. Too bad that they choose to use Styrofoam containers for some things. While the broccoli bites dont seem to be so adversely affected by the Styrofoam, it does cause condensation that makes the fries instantly soggy and the onion rings just a greasy, sloppy, unappetizing mess. Moving to a paper container, like Grottos uses for their onion rings, would not only resolve the problem, but would be much better for the environment too. I know they are very popular but I think they are suffering from their popularity. A little more attention to detail could only benefit The Longneck Deli.

Family owned, very good food, large portions and a great value for the price. Dont be deceived by "small" on the sandwich size. One small can easily feed 2 adults. Cheesesteaks are quality shaved beef, not the pizzeria style chopped meat. If your a pickle person try them from the barrel.

Do you miss Philadelphia food? Particularly the Cheese steaks? Go here. You will not be disappointed. Beware, the large is 18 inches and 15.00 w/Xtra Cheese, so check the menu and dont assume a large is 12 inches.
