I am placing a 4-star rating as its not a couples place, it is a restaurant you go to when you bring kids and teenagers where you can grab a meal and relax. We have gone to this restaurant 3 times, and I am not enamored at all. My fries (in 2 visits) were soggy and cold. So, Im not a fan and the burgers were greasy. THAT said - I just think I am not the demographic this restaurant is aiming for, since it is always filled up. The decor is good, the device they give you to inform you that your meal is ready is a great gadget, place is clean, rest rooms are clean and utensils/condiment stations can easily be seen.

Shake Shack is consistent whether you have it in NY, CT, or LA, in my experience. Thats a very good thing. Got a double burger plus fries. The fries have a nice crispness to them, though they could have used some seasoning. The salt seemed to sink to the bottom of the paper container. The patty was, as always, perfectly seasoned, the cheese perfectly cheesy, and the bun delicate and tasty. The location itself was convenient and had plenty of space to it. Id come back again, but I was just passing through.

This was my first time eating there tonight. The burgers were good and the shakes even better! The GM Dave and his team are very friendly and outgoing. When attempting to order a second shake later, the particular combination was not the flavor of the night. Dave overhead the request and five minutes later personally delivered the shake to the table. If they can accommodate the request, they will, and with a smile to boot. Highly recommended for the food and atmosphere.

Great burger place! It was a bit of a drive but I think it was worth it! Hip, modern dine-in with drive-up ordering. Burgers were good, served fresh and cooked well done. The buns werent fully split, and this caught a lot of the juices. The fries are crinkle cut and crispy, not soggy at all. The shakes are small but delectable. Staff is very friendly, too. The booths are narrow, but they have chairs. Cartoons on one TV for the kids, baseball on the other. Great place.

Stopped cause it was the only place we saw that was OK, tho in winter its all inside.There was NO line at 2pm, we looked thru the oversized menu, as we showed we were newbies the mgr. came out with a hand sized menu and reccommended their "shack sauce" as it is what put them on the map. The sauce is no big wup. Given a beeper & way too long a wait. Beef way way too salty, lacking taste, and small burg oozing grease Shake barely so-so. Lunch $27!

Shake shack is delicious. This particular location always, ALWAYS, messes up your order in some way, by charging you two of something, forgetting the toppings to your burger, or messing your order up in some other way. Ive been here at least a dozen times, and something goes wrong every time. I will keep going back because I love Shake Shack, but watch your receipt carefully and check your food before leaving.

Is a great place, one of the best burger places I know. I dont live in Westport but when I go there to visit family thats always on the list (JK, its only been since last year) But I love the Smokey Shack or whatever its called and despite the fact that it might be a bit warm during summer its a very nice place.

The burgers were fresh and so was the toppings. We didnt care for the shack sauce-but thats a personal preference. The lemonade was awesome. Super fresh and not too sweet. The Peanut Butter shake was good. We would recommend and go again if we were from this area.

I ordered a plain hamburger but instead I got a burger with peppers, cheese, bacon, sauce, tomatoe, and lettuce. Usually I get good service here so it was really upsetting to have to throw away everything but the meat. At least they didnt mess up the fries.

The food is Excellent! Not greasy,you could tell the ingredients are fresh,and the service was good aswell. Prices are a bit steep but thats to be expected in westport. But if your looking for some good food and nice out door seating this is the place.

Pretty decent burger but a bit on the pricey side. Fast and friendly service which kept the line moving. Had a creamsicle float, very tasty. Overall a bit on the expensive side but was a nice place to grab a Friday meal.

Shake Shack is a household name, this location could take a bit more pride in their burger prep as the buns were quite off center relative to each other and the patties, but otherwise great attitude, great environment.

A little pricey...2 hot dogs with fries, sodas and 1 custard was $30 but everything was delicious so I guess it was worth it. The fries were nice and crispy outside but soft on the inside. Very good.

Yum. A little strange ordering thru a window Im wintertime, but must be nice with the wall sized windows open in nicer weather. A fine version of the chain. Not crowded for our weekday lunch visits.

Really good burger joint if you want somewhere much nicer than McDonalds plus some craft beers! I think it was slightly over priced but overall a nice quick bite to eat, plus we were a big group

Not worth it, $14 for a burger of McDonalds quality and SMALL shake?!?!?!?!?!?! ? Not that good. You can eat a burger at a five star restaurant for that amount of coin and get fries on the side.

Good shake shack quality, and the line here is always shorter than the one down the road in Darien. Overall, the shack seems to be falling off in quality a bit, though... Chain wide.

This location didnt have the Chicken sandwich last time I went, but otherwise its the same reliable, tasty, reasonably priced Shake Shack experience.
